Okay, you know we go through life and people talk about, you know getting to the end of life and living with no regrets. So, things you won't regret studying more, drinking more water, making new friends.
I love lists like this because it's true when you really put it in perspective. I like this one crying when you need to. Yes, You'll never regret that.
0:00:55 - Heather
No, and you know what? I think that's especially true for men, you know, because for so many years men were taught not to cry. It shows weakness. But we all have such powerful emotions that, like I think, when anybody cries, whether it's a man or woman, it's other people that have a problem with the tears because they don't know how to handle it. And I have learned just let people cry. And it has been so powerful to see the men in my life release those emotions through the tears.

The things you will never regret. Tell your loved ones how much you care about them. I don't think you can do that enough. No Text call at the beginning of a call, at the end of a call when you're together with them, absolutely. Just letting them know, as random as it might feel Right Just to tell someone how much you care about them.

You know what? I saw something the other day and it was a post somewhere, I don't remember it, and it said tell your family and your friends. Make a habit of telling your friends you love them, give them hugs, make it awkward, you know, but the point is we don't tell those people in our lives just how much we love and appreciate them.
0:02:03 - Eric
You will never regret it lives, just how much we love and appreciate them.
0:02:08 - Heather
You will never regret it. I just want to leave you with a little extra encouragement today from Numbers 6:24-26. The Lord bless you and keep you. The Lord make his face to shine on you and be gracious to you. The Lord turn his face toward you and give you peace.

Because we know how challenging life can be. You ever heard the saying behind mountains are more mountains? I saw this the other day and I was reading a little bit about it just how life works. This is not breaking news, but life's a process. You look for those breakthrough moments like you're climbing a mountain or you feel like it's insurmountable sometimes, yeah, and to get to the other side. You're just waiting and waiting and hoping and hoping and finally the breakthrough comes and you're on the other side of the mountain.
0:02:56 - Heather
And we're expecting valleys and beautiful trees and a warm, cool stream. You know it's like yes.
0:03:01 - Eric
And hopefully you get a moment like that yeah, but behind that mountain that you just climbed and came down on the other side of there's more mountains, and that's a great thing. I think that's what God wanted for us, because each time you learn something over each mountain, of how big it is, you learn something from it. You develop strength, wisdom, perspective.
0:03:23 - Heather
And you develop knowledge, and I think that's what you know. God wants us to have knowledge and understanding about situations, but more importantly, it's perseverance, which I don't see a lot of anymore. It's like we're so impatient, but also it's hope, because you're always hoping for the next valley, right when there is a bit of a breath, but it's character development. It is truly, and I used to always like when we went through some pretty rough mountains and I remember asking God I thought my character was pretty okay to begin with Right.
I thought I was in a good place, but there's so much more we can learn in those moments. And you know, yeah, the mountains are going to come and yes, they're going to be varying heights. Right, there will always be a time to catch your breath, and I think it's when we have the time to catch our breath, is when we get that chance to look back and go oh, not while we're in the middle of it.
0:04:14 - Eric
Yeah, and to push through, and each mountain is different. Behind mountains are more mountains, but God encourages us in his word.
0:04:21 - Heather
Yeah, it even says that in Romans 5:3-5, we also glory in tribulations, knowing that tribulations or difficult time produces perseverance, and perseverance produces character and character produces hope.
