It's short story day... here we go.

The curious case of Casey and the vanishing breakfast.

Meet Casey, a dedicated breakfast aficionado.

Casey's mornings were as predictable as the sunrise...

eggs, toast, a side of fruit and a large mug of coffee.

This ritual was as sacred to Casey as the pledge of allegiance to coffee lovers everywhere.

But all that was about to change after stumbling upon a RiversZen blog titled,_ the breakfast myth_.

One fine morning, as Casey sat, contemplating the philosophical implications of choosing strawberry over grape jelly.

A radical thought occurred.

_What if breakfast isn't the hero meal, I thought it was? _

Armed with curiosity, and of course his slightly rebellious streak, Casey decided to embark upon an experiment.

Skipping breakfast.

This first morning was an epic saga of dramatic stomach growls and longing glances at the clock.

But Casey ever the Intrepid explorer pressed on.

To Casey's surprise the rumblings of revolt in the lower abdomen quieted down on day three.

Replaced by a new found sense of energy.... and mental clarity.

Casey dove into research, uncovering a trove of information on intermittent fasting and its potential benefits.

With each article and study the breakfast pedestal crumbled a little more.

Casey learned about the human body's adaptability to different eating patterns and the potential for improved metabolic health and even longevity.

Casey wasn't alone.

Conversations with fellow RiversZen members revealed a vibrant community of breakfast skippers.

They swapped stories of increased energy, weight loss, and the liberating feeling of breaking free from the breakfast dogma.

Casey found kinship in these tales of transformation.

And the morning coffee soon became an afternoon delight.

Sans the toast and eggs.

Armed with knowledge and more importantly, community support....

Casey navigated the new terrain with enthusiasm.

There were challenges, of course, navigating social brunches, a true test of willpower.

And learning to listen to the body's hunger cues rather than the clock.

But each and every hurdle only added to Casey's growing conviction.

Well months passed, and Casey's experiment turned into a lifestyle.

The morning hours once occupied by breakfast preparation, and consumption...

now offered a space for meditation.

A stretch routine inspired by RiversZen.

Or sometimes simply savoring the quiet of Dawn.

Casey actually shared this journey in an inspirational blog post on RiversZen's website, titled _the curious case of Casey and the vanishing breakfast_, which you're reading right now.

It was an invitation to question, explore and perhaps skip a meal or two in the spirit of self-discovery.

Are you ready to challenge the breakfast paradigm and embark on your own experiment?

It's not about skipping joy, but discovering it in new places. In the freedom of morning flexibility, or the energy of a body aligned with its natural rhythms.

Oh my God... that is so key.

Move well, stay healthy, be happy, be passionate... live every day with purpose.
