I used to call these episodes, Driving with Dave, because I get my biggest inspiration while I'm driving. 

I'm going back to that today... I just got the recorder going and a couple things I'd like to share. 

It's kind of cool because I've got software much better than I had before, three or four years ago when I started this podcast... that takes out a lot of the background noise.

So you don't have to hear the car running.

This week I'm continuing the theme of self love. 

Yesterday I renamed April 1st from April fool's day to self love day because that's what we all need. 

We know how foolish we can be and don't really need somebody pulling an elaborate trick to remind us of that.

Well, self love isn't just about an ego boost. 

Self love is Is about living a long fit, healthy, happy life. 

And I love that mantra, long fit, healthy, happy life. 

Because it's what my goal is. 

And I would think most people would have that same goal. 

Self love is about stress reduction. 

And the number one thing...

the number one thing that they find 

when they look at people who live to be a hundred years old, 

the number one thing in common, 

it's not food, 

it's not exercise.

It's the way they handle stress. 

And what better way to handle stress than love yourself. 

Again, this is not about ego. 

This is about truly loving and accepting yourself. 

And I'll throw one more little thought in.

By accepting yourself 

that doesn't mean if you need to lose 40, 50 pounds to be healthy, 

that you accept that.

It means you accept where you're at and you're on that path. 

And you're going to do something about that. 

If you're not getting daily movement 

You're going to do something about that, 

You can love yourself in the process. 

You don't have to hate yourself because you're not doing it yet. 

And that's today's message.

We're continuing with the week of self love and we're going to do everything we can to help you realize that you are somebody special and you deserve to be loved.

May you move well, stay healthy, be happy, live every single day with passion.

A long, fit, healthy, happy life is well within everyone's reach!
