Maybe you should become a vegan...

Really?

Coming from the low carb carnivore guy?

Who's always telling you low carb works, carnivore works?

It does but not every diet plan is for everybody .

I found some interesting information the other day.

If you've ever seen the Blue Zone list or movie

that lists those areas of the world,

where people live to be a hundred and beyond

and they're healthy and they're fit their entire life.

I had no idea Loma Linda, California was included in there.

I didn't even look it up.

I know exactly why.

My business partner, Dick, many years ago was taken to a place called Weimar Institute, which is part of Loma Linda University.

It's that Seventh Day Adventist vegan experience.

He was healed from all kinds of stuff by going on that vegan diet.

I guarantee you one thing, if you ever went to Weimar Institute, which is in the foothills above Sacramento,

if you go to their cafeteria,

you'd get on your knees and go,

I want to be a vegan.

Boy, let me tell you, if they knew nothing else, they knew how to cook

food without animal products in it.

So there is an argument for vegan.

What I think is you find what works for you.

I find that the people that truly go on low carb....

Now, there's a lot of low carb fake foods and I don't think most people thrive with

But if you go low carb,

or even carnivore like I currently am

you'll probably find some amazing success for most people,

But there's some people that for whatever reason...

be their own ethics or morals or whatever.

They don't want to eat that much animal.

So they go vegan.

The one thing I find though,

I find more healthy, low carb/carnivore people

than I do vegan.

And I'll tell you why.

Because vegans sugar is okay.

Now they get technical, just like the carnivores do,

which it's insanity, all of these rules.

But a lot of them will not eat white sugar

because I guess they use bone chard to make it white.

So, sugar is allowed.

Basically, it's a non animal product, so it's allowed.

I think one reason both these extremes work is because you don't eat processed food.

On the low carb side, you don't eat sugar.

So I think that's why they work.

But the whole idea of this podcast

is to encourage you to do what works for you.

Don't let anybody else dictate to what you should do.

A vegetarian?

Fine.

Watch your carbs.

I mean, watch your below ground carbs.

Watch your starchy carbs.

It's going to hurt you.

Watch your sugar intake.

That's going to hurt you.

But if you give up processed foods,

whether you're going to the low carb side,

whether you're going to the vegetarian/vegan side,

It doesn't matter.

You're going to be so much more healthier,

We're here to age well...

It's not the chronological age.

It's the wellness age.

It's how well are you for how long.

And that's what we're looking for.

And that's why I'm always, always, always talking to you about diet.

Our eating,

I even hate using diet.

I call it our eating plan, the way we eat.

90 percent of the issue is that.

And another 90%,

(so I know I'm at 180 percent)

is stress.

You eat right,

you move every day,

you get rid of stress,

you take nice deep breaths in and out through your nose.

It will change your life

and you will live a long, fit, healthy, and happy life.

Until I talk to you tomorrow... or next time.

Move well, stay healthy, be happy, find a passion, find a purpose, and thrive for life.
