I get it. I really do. Chances are you're thinking right now, Dave is on the warpath again, and he's beating that same drum. 

But you know what? 

I'm going to keep preaching my message until it sinks in. It's absolutely too important to just ignore. 

I see this often. People shuffling through life. 

They're stiff, sore, and miserable. Popping pills, resigning themselves to the inevitable decline of aging. 

I gotta tell you the truth. It breaks my heart. Because you know what? It doesn't have to be this way. 

Fit, healthy aging. It's possible for everyone. It's not some crazy fantasy or special privilege reserved for a lucky few. 

It's a choice.

It comes down to five simple but powerful elements. Stay with me... movement, breath, nutrition, sleep, and stress reduction. Now, in nutrition, I also include hydration. That's part of nutrition. Lots of interesting things coming out about that right now. But that's another subject. 

So, let me tell you, simple doesn't always mean easy.

It takes commitment. It takes consistency. But the payoff, man, it's priceless. 

A body and mind that feel years, even decades younger. I feel better than I did 20 years ago. 

The freedom that comes from moving through life with energy and vitality instead of aches and limitations. 

Seriously, I know this firsthand. Years back , I was a broken down mess. Just ask Peggy, she'll tell you. 

A lifetime of sports that left me facing multiple surgeries, seven to be precise. I was living on painkillers, man I was popping aspirin and stuff like there was no tomorrow. And some days I could barely get out of bed.

You know, the conventional wisdom... I was in my 50s... and the conventional wisdom said I should accept it. It was just part of getting older. 

But I refused to buy into that story. I knew there had to be a better way. And through deep diving into natural healing methods, Peggy and I found it. 

Qigong, yoga, resistance stretching, breathwork, real food, restorative sleep, um, um, the deep tissue massage, rolfing.

Now, hiking mountains, bouncing out of bed, excited for the day. I went from barely surviving to absolutely thriving and feeling more mobile and energetic in my 60s than I did in my mid 30s.

You know what, I'm on a mission to show others they can have this too. That's why I'm never going to stop sharing this message and it doesn't hurt you to hear it over and over and over.

So if you're fed up with feeling old and run down, if you're tired of missing out on the activities and adventures you love, please listen to me. 

Aging doesn't have to be a prison sentence. You have the power to change the trajectory of your health and it starts with those five foundational habits.

Prioritize your body, even if it's just a little bit each day. Breathe deeply. Nourish yourself with whole foods. Create a sleep sanctuary and find moments of stillness amid the the outer chaos. 

Little by little, these habits will transform you. You'll wake up with more pep in your step. )Pep in your step. I actually wrote that? Okay.) You'll feel aches and pains fade away. You'll gain a new lease on life that you never thought possible. 

So no, I will not stop preaching this sermon because I've seen the miracles it creates and I want that for you. I want you to experience just how incredible your body and mind can feel when you give them what they need.

It's time to drop that, I'm just getting old crap mindset. I'm sorry... Crap. 

It's time to take the reins of your health and create a future you can get excited about.
