I want to share a life changing secret, a secret that has helped so many of our members take control of their high blood pressure naturally.

You're not going to believe this.

It's as simple as breathing.

All right. All right. I know what you're thinking. Dave, I've been breathing my whole darn life. What's so special about breath?

Well, intentional breathing is a vastly underrated superpower when it comes to managing hypertension, that silent killer.

You see, life gets in the way and stress takes over. Our bodies go into fight or flight mode. Our heart races. Our breath gets shallow. And our blood vessels, they close up, they constrict.

It's the perfect recipe for just blowing up those blood pressure levels.

It's an ancient survival mechanism, but in our modern world, we really don't need it and it quickly can turn into a health hazard.

That's where simple conscious breathing comes in.

Take a few minutes each day to practice simple breathing techniques.

If you do that, you'll flip the switch and activate your body's natural relaxation response.

It's kind of like hitting the reset button on our stressed out systems.

Once again, I know what you're thinking. Dave, how exactly do I do this conscious breathing thing?

Are you ready? I'm about to take you on a journey that could lead you to blood pressure bliss.

Let's start with a deep breath. Such a classic.

Inhale slowly through your nose. Allow your belly to expand and exhale even more slowly through pursed lips, feeling the tension melt away with each breath. Repeat this a few times and you're going to feel like a weight has been lifted off of your shoulders and probably your arteries too.

Now how about the belly breath? We talk about that all the time. Also known as diaphragmatic breathing. Technique's all about breathing from your diaphragm rather than your chest.

Place one hand on your belly and inhale deeply, allowing for the hand to rise. Exhale slowly, feeling your hand fall back towards your spine. It's really like giving your body a gentle massage, but it's from the inside out.

One of my favorites, 4, 7, 8 breath.

Simple, inhale through your nose for a count of 4. Hold your breath for a count of 7. and exhale through your mouth for a count of eight. Repeat this cycle a few times. You're going to feel a sense of calm come over you like you've never felt before. It'll be like a cool river on a hot summer day.

All right, I know this all sounds great, but how do you know you're doing it right?
