Episode 156: The Lake Worth Monster

In the summer of 1969, strange things started happening on Lake Worth, outside of Forth Worth, Texas. There were whispers of an odd creature- described as part man, part fish, and part goat- being spotted in a local nature preserve. What started out as an outlandish rumor became front-page news on July 10, 1969, when the creature jumped on the hood of a car and disappeared into the forest, but not before leaving an 18 inch scratch down the side of the vehicle. When 6 visibly shaken locals showed up at the sheriff's office to report the incident, law enforcement had no choice but to investigate these strange goings on. Soon, seemingly the entire town was taking to the forest, armed with whatever weaponry they could find to hunt down the Lake Worth Monster. But would they catch him?
