Patient / Doctor Relations

On this episode we discuss patient / doctor relations. We focus on how communication is key  between doctor and patient and the patient must be proactive when it comes to their health . One example is how Amin who is living with a form of cancer that is only treatable. In his case the doctors successfully got him into remission but he still has many issues going on mentally and physically. Had Amin not spoken up for himself he would be living with constant pain and mental illness. On our panel we have Dr. Joseph Ipolitto, Radiologist, Christina Starks  RN, Amin Hinds current patient at Siteman Cancer Center and Dr. Niranjan Singh, Neurologist.
