Eugene Collins, the president of the NAACP in Baton Rouge, and I discuss the tragic death of Eugene's baby sister due to medical neglect. Together we discussed the legal ramifications of the hospital's actions and the possibility of exploring new avenues to hold them accountable. The family wants and deserves justice and prevention of this happening to anyone else. Overall, there needs to be a change in medical care and the need for change to ensure that people are handled correctly, regardless of race or education.
