You know that person at the office (or your work Zoom) that blows you away, as if Meryl Strep passed you on the sidewalk?

They have confidence, and you can make a laundry list of the reasons why.

When you go to think of yourself, you feel like the “before” of Sandra Bullock in Miss Congeniality. Shit’s a mess.

You can list all the reasons why you don’t “have it.”

This means you believe that confidence has to be earned.

That confidence means you’ve made a certain amount of money, have a specific title, on a certain team, your boss treats you a certain way or you have a certain amazing idea or outcome.

The truth is you can have confidence right now regardless of any of the above.

Confidence is a feeling, and it’s essential to have confidence FIRST before you set out to “crush it at work.”

You can create confidence on purpose, and then use it to achieve every single thing you wish you had.
