Questions About Salvation/Testimony

  • “When did you come to know the Lord personally?”
  • “Can you tell me what changed in your life after you got saved?”
  • “What do you mean when you say you're a Christian?”
  • “If someone asked you how to become a Christian, what would you say?”
  • “How do you know your sins are forgiven?”

Questions About the Gospel Itself

  • “What is the gospel, in your own words?”
  • “Why did Jesus have to die?”
  • “Do you believe someone can be saved without repentance?”
  • “How would you explain grace to someone who’s never been to church?”
  • “Is Christianity more about what we do, or what Christ has done?”

Questions for Self-Examination (2 Cor. 13:5)

  • “Do you see the fruit of the Spirit growing in your life?”
  • “When you sin, how do you respond?”
  • “Is your relationship with Jesus personal or more of a tradition?”
  • “What’s your greatest hope when you stand before God one day?”

Questions That Expose False Assurance

  • “How do you pursue spiritual growth?”
  • “Do you love God’s people and desire to be part of a local church?”
  • “Are there areas where God has been convicting you lately?”

For Relational and Casual Conversations

  • “Do you ever doubt your salvation? What do you do when that happens?”
