SpeakerThank you for joining me this week on Solid As They Come Podcast, where we journey into the presence of God, break strongholds, and discover and experience the love of Yahweh. Ephesians 3:19 in the New Living Translation says, May you experience the love of Christ, though it is too great to fully understand, then you will be made complete with all the fullness of life and power that comes from God. The goal is not to be perfect, but to trust in, to believe in the perfect love of Jesus, the realest love you will ever experience. Spirit of the living God fall afresh on us. Let's put in some work. Let's put it in. As we continue our journey through the word of God, let's pick back up in Acts chapter 19, verses 11 through 20, where God has us dealing with demonic spiritual confrontation. When the pressure hits, only a real relationship with Jesus will keep you. Sunday morning routine won't work. Only a real relationship with Jesus will work. So do you know church or do you know Jesus? On our journey, we took a look in the mirror to see who was staring back at us. And I pray that the man or the woman in the mirror that's staring back at you has the identity of one of God's masterpiece. Jesus, I know, Paul, I know, but who are you? Let's put some Bible on this. Galatians 2 20 in the NLT says, My old self has been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me. So I live in this earthly body by trusting in the Son of God who loved me and gave himself for me. Oh my God, did you hear what the word of God just said? Man, I feel like preaching on this Sunday morning. My old self has been crucified with Christ. Good God Almighty. So I live in this earthly body by trusting in the Son of God. I trust him. You know why? Because I'm the one that Jesus is coming back for. Anybody else hear that in their spirit? Anyone else got that in their spirit? We the ones that Jesus is coming back for. Can somebody say I'm the church? Good God of Marty, not that brick and mortar, but I'm the church. Can somebody say that I'm the proof that the spirit of God is real? Check my paperwork. It all lines up. I'm the proof that the Spirit of God is real. I'm the proof that Matthew 11, 28 is real. I did that. I came to God. I gave him my burdens. I put my trust in him and he gave me rest. I'm the proof that Matthew 11, 28 is real. I'm the proof that Matthew 6.33 is real. I'm living that. I'm the one that seeked the kingdom of God above all else. I'm the one that he got living righteously. And I'm the one that he's given everything that I need. Is there anybody else that can testify that you are the proof that Yahweh God is real? When the Holy Spirit spoke that to my spirit this week, I felt like tearing something up. Have you ever just sit back and just thought about it? I'm the one that Jesus is coming back for. I'm the one walking around that can prove that God is real. Oh my God, Priest PD, just think about it for a minute. Not only can we be walking testimonies, but we can be walking reality. That the scriptures are real. It's a privilege for someone to look at your life and say, God's way works. Man, I didn't got happy already. I ain't really even got started yet. Jesus, I know. Paul, I know. But who are you? I'm gonna tell you who I am. I'm the one that Jesus is coming back for. Every child of God should be able to say that. Y'all know what time it is? It's time to put some Bible on this. Turn to St. John chapter 14. Let's start at the first verse. And in these passages of scripture, Jesus is talking to his disciples. But remember that this applies to us too. Verse 1 says, Don't let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God and trust also in me, who's the me, Jesus. There is more than enough room in my father's home. If this were not so, would I have told you that I am going to prepare a place for you? When everything is ready. Oh my God, did you hear what the word of God is just said in verse 3? When everything is ready, I will come and get you, so that you will always be with me where I am. Good God Almighty. I'm the one that Jesus is coming back for. He's coming back for all of us who have prepared ourselves to be with him where he is. Come on, somebody. And let me give everybody listening some good news. He ain't came back yet. So we all got time to keep preparing ourselves to be with him forever. Let me drop something heavy in your spirit. The church. That's just part of it. The big deal is for you to experience the love of God on earth in a body, getting your spirit familiar with the love of God so you can prepare yourself to be in Yahweh's presence forever. The big deal of the church is for you to experience the love of God here on earth. It's for you to prepare yourself to be with him forever. Do you know church or do you know Jesus? Sunday service should be preparing you to be with God forever. Wednesday night Bible study should be preparing you to be with God forever. Your favorite podcast, your favorite YouTube channel should be preparing you to be with Yahweh forever. That's what the church is for. That's the big deal. It's a big deal for you to know that you are one of the ones that Jesus is coming back for. Somebody need to hear this. That's why it's so much demonic spiritual confrontation coming against you. The devil trying to mess up your paperwork. But in the name of Jesus, it ain't going down like that. Titus chapter 2, verse 13 in the NLT and in the word of God it says, while we look forward with hope to that wonderful day. Oh my God, man, I feel like preaching. While we look forward with hope to that wonderful day when the glory of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ will be revealed. I'm leaning on hope, looking forward to that day. Let's put some more Bible on this. Hebrews chapter 9, verse 28 in the NLT. And in the word of God, it says this. So also Christ was offered once for all time as a sacrifice to take away the sins of many people. He will come again. Did you hear what the word of God just said? He will come again, not to deal with our sins. That's why I say it's deeper than just getting your sins forgiven. He's gonna come again, but not to deal with our sins. Watch this. But to bring salvation to all who are eagerly waiting for him. We spend a lot of time talking and teaching and preaching about sin, getting blessed, tithes and offerings. But what about preparing yourself to be with Jesus in the presence of Yahweh forever? What about heaven? I don't know if it's just me. But is heaven still a topic in the church? I don't know, but it's the topic this morning. When you start preparing yourself for heaven, you start the Christian process which deals with the main areas you'll need to deal with. Sin, trust, faith, obedience, surrender, spiritual surrender. Spiritual surrender is when you've accepted the gift of salvation. Ask Yahweh to forgive you of your sins. Put your faith in the finished work of the cross. What Jesus did. Take your sins to the feet of the cross. Put trust in the grace of God and live in daily gratitude rather than fear, trusting and believing that the sacrifice of Jesus makes you untouchable even in death. All the preaching of Jesus you accept, and all the teaching of Jesus you accept, and all the living that you do for Jesus, all the testimonies that you rack up, all the faith in God you grow into will develop you. Watch this a destination mindset. You know, is more life after this life. Your preparation should give you confidence that you have citizenship in heaven. Preach P. D. Y'all know what time it is. It's time to put some Bible on it. Turn to Philippians chapter 3. We're gonna start at the 17th verse. And it says, Dear brothers and sisters, pattern your lives after mine. This is Paul talking, and learn from those who follow our example. What example? A godly example. For I have told you often before, and I'll say it again with tears in my eyes. The apostle is saying this with watch this great conviction. He got tears in his eyes. That there are many whose conduct shows they are really enemies of the cross. Oh my God, well, I feel like tearing some up. Did you hear what the word of God just said? There are many whose conduct shows that they are really enemies of the cross. They are headed for destruction. Their God is their appetite. They brag about shameful things and they think only about this life here on earth. But we are citizens of heaven, where the Lord Jesus Christ lives, and we are eagerly waiting for him to return as our Savior. But they know church routine. They don't know Jesus. They don't believe in the death, burial, and resurrection on the under. They just really believe in this world and what they see. That's why Yahweh sent me by this morning with this heaven preaching. So you can get your mind shifted to a destination mindset. And it's only one destination after this life worth talking about. And that destination is where Jesus is. And that's why I preach so hard. Because my hope is to see you there, a certified citizen of heaven. Let me drop something heavy in your spirit. Living for God is not pick and choose, it takes the whole thing or nothing. 99 and a half won't do. You can't thumb through the Bible and pick what you believe and don't believe. You can't make up in your mind how God is. You got to take it by faith. 2 Timothy 3.16 in the NLT says this all scripture is inspired by God and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It corrects us when we are wrong and teaches us to do what is right. The word of God says, All scriptures, living for God, is not pick and choose. You got to take the whole thing or nothing. And I'm gonna say it again: 99 and a half won't do. You can't just believe in the blessing scriptures and not the warning scriptures and the convicting scriptures. You can't just believe in Philippians 4 13 that you can do everything through Christ who gives you strength and not believe in scriptures like 2 Thessalonians chapter 1, verse 8. In flaming fire, bringing judgment on those who don't know God, and on those who refuse to obey the good news of our Lord Jesus. You got to believe it all. You can't just want the blessing and not get the correction when needed. It don't work like that. God will give you the blessing, but he'll also give you the correction when it's needed. Go back to the text because I want to make sure you get this. 2 Thessalonians 1 8 says, God brings judgment on those who don't know him and those who refuse to obey the good news of our Lord Jesus Christ. No blessings for you. God gives judgment. You can't just believe in God's blessings and not believe that God will deliver judgment. Living for God is not pick and choose. You can't just thumb through the Bible and pick what you believe and not believe. Man, that's a word for somebody. Somebody just got free. When you're dealing with God, you got to remember it's all or nothing. As we continue, let me bring our sermon series thought back to your remembrance. For the last few weeks, we've been dealing with demonic spiritual confrontation, attacking our spiritual identity in Christ. And with that being said, let's go back to our foundational scriptures, turn to Acts chapter 19, and I want to deal with verses 15 and 16. In verse 15, it says, But one time when they tried it, the evil spirits replied, I know Jesus, and I know Paul, but who are you? Then the man with the evil spirit leaped on them, overpowered them, and attacked them with such violence that they fled from the house naked and battered. These two verses are something serious. The seven sons of Siva were running around, remember, acting like they had the power that Paul had, acting like they had the Holy Ghost. They knew church, but they didn't know Jesus. Don't miss this. They never took the time to get their real connection with Yahweh certified. They never took time to get it validated. Let me put something heavy on your spirit. They were performing so long that the fake identity took over. It became their reality. So they never took the time to deal with the real problem. So when they ran into a real issue, they got exposed. I'm almost done. But just for a moment, let me drop this subject in your spirit. If you don't deal with it, it's gonna deal with you. Oh my god, Priest P. D. Did you just hear what the spirit gave me? If you don't deal with it, it's gonna deal with you. They didn't take the time out to deal with their real spiritual identity. So a real evil spirit dealt with them. If you don't deal with it, it's gonna deal with you. If you don't deal with your hate, it's gonna deal with you. If you don't deal with that jealousy, it's gonna deal with you. If you don't deal with that laziness, it's gonna deal with you. Eventually, it's gonna overtake you and be a part of your identity. Watch this. Getting healing, spiritual healing can get uncomfortable, but to heal, it must be done. You got to be willing to deal with it, even if it gets uncomfortable. They was faking at it, but you can't fake at it. The issue, the sin, it must be brought to the light. Watch this. With voice and truth, in order for you to be free from it, and I mean completely free. Don't forget the main thought we hit on in Sermon 1 of the series, spiritual confrontation. Because it's not just you being on defense, ready for demons and devils and evil spirits confronting you, but it's also about offense to you confronting your demons, confronting your devils, confronting your evil spirits to get your healing and to stop letting them hide behind your fear. It's time to move fear out the way and let the issue be exposed and take the fight to them. I know I'm not the only one to hear it. I hear it's your moment, it's your present time to be made free. Yahweh sent me by this morning to speak authority into the atmosphere. No more putting band-aids on that issue. If you got hate, it's time to deal with it. If you got lust, it's time to deal with it. It's time to deal with it. It's not the moment to simply get something off your chest. It's the moment to deal with it and be set free. Because if you don't deal with it, it's gonna deal with you. For you to live in a true identity in Christ, you got to deal with everything that's not allowed to be there. Getting the true spiritual healing that you need could get uncomfortable when you deal with the issues that are sensitive. But to really heal, it must be done. Praise God. I'm gonna leave you with that thought today. Pick back up next week. The thought is if you don't deal with it, it's gonna deal with you. Just like in the text, the seven sons of Siva, they didn't deal with the fact that they didn't have a real connection with Yahweh. And when they ran into some real issues, the issues dealt with them. I pray that the word was a blessing to you this morning. Until next week, remember, keep it solid.
