PD would love to hear from you
Confusion can feel harmless, like you’re just “working things out,” but what if it’s actually draining your faith and watering down your relationship with God? We open with a simple challenge that changes everything: don’t just hear a verse, pull out your Bible and read it for yourself. That habit builds spiritual clarity, strengthens trust, and keeps you anchored when life starts shifting under your feet.
We camp in John 6:35 where Jesus calls Himself the bread of life, then we go after the mix of belief, unbelief, and confusion that shows up even around holy things. From Hebrews 11:6, we talk about why faith is non-negotiable and why being “sort of sure” keeps you stuck. Then Romans 8:17 brings identity into focus: we are God’s children and heirs with Christ, called to live like people marked by God’s glory, not ruled by fear, doubt, or distraction.
We also get practical about hope and spiritual warfare. Psalms 146 warns us not to build our life on moving pieces like money, people, and platforms that can disappear tomorrow. Psalm 62 points us back to God as our refuge, rock, and fortress, and we name the idols that try to compete for our attention. We close with Matthew 6:33 and a prayer for strength, healing, and truth in a noisy time.
If this encouraged you, subscribe, share it with someone who needs steadier faith, and leave a review so more people can find the show. What’s one “moving piece” you’re ready to stop trusting?
Read The Word For Yourself
SPEAKER_00I want to encourage everyone that whatever method you use to read the word of God, that when I drop a scripture in your spirit, grab the word of God, turn to it, or bring it up on your phone or your tablet, or whatever device you use, and read it for yourself. There's power in seeing and reading the word of God for yourself. In Jesus' name. Hallelujah. Thank God for his grace and his mercy. All I can say is whole podcast winning. We speak life and not death. We stand on Ephesians 6 10 when it's wartime. Spirit of the living God fall afresh on us. It's time to put in this that podcast where we go bananas for Jesus. We put work in on our faith. We put work in on our trust. We put work in on our love. We put work in on our flesh. We put work in on our heart. We put work in on our mind. We put work in on our spirit. And we put work in on our relationship with Jehovah. Broadcasting live from CIA headquarters, the Christian intelligence agency, where godly information is distributed on a high level. It's your station chief PD, and I come to drop something heavy in your spirit. Download it from the Spirit of God to my heart, to your ears. Now let's put in some work. Alright, let's get busy. Let's break some bread together. Let's put in
Jesus Calls Himself The Bread
SPEAKER_00some work. Let me summon your senses to the book of St. John, chapter 6, in verse 35, where Jesus said, I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will never be hungry again. Whoever believes in me will never be thirsty. Oh my God. Straight off the hip. Did you hear what Jesus said? Jesus said, I am the bread of life. What a powerful passage of scripture. And if you keep on reading, you'll see that it was some unbelief mixed in here. You'll see it was a little belief mixed in here. You'll see it was a little confusion mixed in here. And that's what I want to come against today in the name of Jesus the Christ. I want to come against that confusion. I want to come against confusion that's in your relationship with God. I want to come against the confusion of you when you read the word of God. There should be no confusion. It should be just straight faith and it should be straight trust. And that's what we want to get you to. To where you just believe and that's it. No confusion. Where you have faith and that's it. No confusion. Where you know who God is and that's it. You stand on what you believe. When you got real history with God, when you had a real encounter with God, when you had a real experience with God. Let me tell you something. Doubt can't creep into the relationship. Doubt can't shake you when you know it was God who made a way. Like the song they used to sing at my mama church, Zion Unity. You can't make me doubt him because I know too much about him. I know too much about God to let some confusion into my life. I know too much about God to let you make me doubt him. I know too much about him. I know him from the scriptures. I know him from the spirit. And I know him from experience. And I know him from relationship. There is a spirit of confusion outside the body of Christ and inside the body of Christ. Outside the kingdom of God and inside the kingdom of God. There is a spirit of confusion to where you got Christians that are confused about their relationship with God. You got Christians that are confused about the holy scriptures, which ones to believe, which ones not to believe. You got a spirit of confusion that is damaging the church. When there is confusion, there can't be real faith. When there is confusion, there can't be real trust in God. There can't be real commitment in God because confusion will distort the relationship with you and God. Oh my God, preach PD, I am preaching. Did you hear what the Spirit just gave me? Confusion will water down you and your relationship with God. That's why we got a lot of lukewarm Christians running around. You want some God-given preaching? Or do you want some sugar coat? Do you want the type of preaching that's from heaven that will challenge you, that will convict you, that will encourage you, that will strengthen you, that will change your life? Let me know. Really? You don't even have to let me know because that's all I got for you. I got that. I know he saves. I know he delivers. I know he heals. I know he changes. I know he loves you. I know he gives grace. That's what I got for you. I got that type of preaching and witness for Jehovah God and for the Lord Jesus Christ. I got some deep history with God. You gotta know what you believe.
Faith Without Confusion Hebrews 11
SPEAKER_00I come against that spirit of confusion. In Hebrews chapter 11, verse 6 in the NLT, it says this, and it is impossible to please God without faith. Anyone who wants to come to him must believe that God exists and that he is a rewarder of those who sincerely seek him. Either you believe it or you don't. Either you'll receive it or you won't. But somewhere along the way, you have to be totally sold out and totally believe that God is who he says he is, that the word of God is what it says it is, and you are who God says you are in Christ Jesus. There can be no confusion in your relationship with God. There can be no confusion when you believe who you are when you give your life to Christ.
Heirs Of Glory And Real Change
SPEAKER_00When you believe in the word Jesus for you in Romans 8 17, and then NL3. And in the Word of God it says this. And since we are his children. Oh my god. Did you hear what the word of God just called you? And says we are his children. We are his heirs. In fact, together with Christ, we are heirs of God's glory. Walk around like it, talk like it, live like it. You are an heir of God's glory. So there's no confusion. Let me break down being what an heir of God's glory is. Because God's glory in its essence is a manifestation of his divine attributes and perfections. Come on, somebody. It displays God's power to those who believe, it displays God's wisdom to those who believe. It displays God's love to those who believe. And watch this: it makes him uniquely God. And it makes us unique because we are his children. In experiencing God's glory, us believers, we find purpose, we find joy and a closer relationship with him. God's glory is also the ultimate goal of creation and salvation. And through faith in Jesus Christ, believers can participate in spreading God's glory to others. You can tell when the glory of God is on somebody because they don't walk the same. They don't talk the same. They don't act the same. They don't react the same. You can tell when the glory of God is on somebody because it's like they had a life change. If you haven't been doing it and you are heir of God's glory, you need to start living like it. 2 Corinthians 5:17 in the NLT says this. This means that anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person. That's a person who has entered into God's glory. It says the old life is gone and a new life has begun. You got to be willing to let go of some old trust. You got to be willing to let go of some old love. You got to be willing to let go of some old commitments and grab on to some new commitments to grab on to some new love. To grab on to some new trust, to grab on to some new glory of God. And right about here, I want to spin the block and get back on Romans 8 17. Where we were reading, and since we are his children, we are his heirs. In fact, together with Christ, we are heirs of God's glory. But I gotta finish it. But if we are to share his glory, we must also share his suffering. You have to be willing to let go of anything that's coming between you and God. I want you to keep on reading. Go to verse 18, where it says, Yet what we suffered now is nothing compared to the glory he will reveal to us later. Oh my God, did you hear what the word of God just said? Any suffering that we suffered now is not to be compared to the glory that He will reveal to us later. I don't know about you, but I can't wait to see it. I can't wait to experience it. That's why anything that's coming between me and my relationship with God here on this earth, I got to let it go. Because there's no confusion between me and God, what I believe in God, His promises, His benefits, His Word. And I believe that no suffering that I can endure.
Stop Trusting Moving Pieces
SPEAKER_00My relationship with God is not a religion. My relationship with God is where I put my whole I don't put my whole in moving pieces of life. Turn to Psalms 1463 through nine in the Message Bible. And let's break down moving pieces of life. Watch this. It says in the Word of God, don't put your life in the hands of experts who know nothing of life, of salvation life. Mere humans don't have what it takes. When they die, their projects die with them. Oh my god, did you hear what the word of God just said? Mere humans don't have what it takes. When they die, their projects die with them. Instead, get help from the God of Jacob. Watch this. Put your hope in God and no real blessings. I'm gonna say it again. Put your hope in God and no real blessings. God made sky and soil, sea and all the fish in it. He always does what he says. He defends the wrong, he feeds the hungry. God frees the prisoners, he gives sight to the blind. He lifts up the fallen. God loves good people, protects strangers, takes the side of orphans and widows. But God makes short work of the wicked. All those scriptures were a blessing. But I want to go back to where he said, put your hope in God and no real blessings. If you put your hope in moving pieces, moving pieces of life are things that are here today and gone tomorrow. Moving pieces, don't put your hope in money, don't put your hope in people, don't put your hope in businesses because money can be taken, people can let you down, and a business can go out of business. But God, the stable foundation of life is where we should put our hope. Putting hope in moving pieces of life open you up for disappointment, non-fulfillment. Watch this constant disappointment. It trains you to stop expecting. And when you've been trained to stop expecting, it's hard to hear the preacher. It's hard to hear from God. It's hard to put your trust in God, it's hard to believe in better, it's hard to see fulfillment, it's hard to get God results in your life. Let me drop something heavy in your spirit. That's why the Spirit of God says we should put surface level attributes into people, places, and things, aka moving pieces. But when it comes to our hope, which is connected to the outcomes and results of our life, we should put that in God alone. As a Christian, we cannot be confused about our relationship with God or the things of God. We can't be confused about what we have faith in. We can't be confused about where we put our commitments, we can't be confused about our trust in God. The devil will distract you from the real prize. He will try to distract you from the real battle if you're not careful. And that real prize is a relationship with God. Because if anything is more important to you than your relationship with God, you are a casualty of spiritual warfare. That's why God sent me by this morning to tell us that we need to start putting in work and knocking down the idols in our life. Because every fake God has to go. And every spirit that's not from God has to go. Depression has to go. Anxiety has to go. Low self-esteem, y'all, it has to go. The idols in our life are manifested as different things. But at the end of the day, they are all distractions. Distractions are anything that pulls our attention away from God. When you call on God, when you pray, when you read the word of God, when you worship, when you pray, when you go to church, do you do it out of religion? Or do you do it because of relationships? When you call on God, when you pray, when you read the word of God, when you worship, do you do it because it's tradition? Or do you do it because it's intimacy between you and God?
God As Refuge Knock Idols Down
SPEAKER_00I like the way the psalmist said it in Psalm 62, verses 5 through 7 in the NLT. He broke down who God was to him, and he broke down what God does for him. In the word of God, it says this verse 5 Let all that I am wait quietly before God, for my hope is in him. He alone is my rock and my salvation, my fortress where I will not be shaken. My victory and honor come from God alone. He is my refuge, a rock where no enemy can reach me. Oh my God. Preach PD, I am preaching. Did you hear what the word of God said in verse 7? It says, He is my refuge. He is my shelter. He is my peace. He is my protector. He is what I should be focusing on to stay focused in life, to be a winner in life, a champion in life, to reach goals in life, to live out my purpose in life. He is my refuge. A rock. Watch this. When no enemy can reach me. Let's rest right here for a minute. If you put your hope in God and He is your refuge, no enemy can reach you. Your enemies can't reach your purpose when it's relationship and intimacy and not a routine and tradition. Oh my God. Your enemies can't reach your happiness when it's a relationship and intimacy and not a routine or tradition. Your enemies can't reach your heart. They can't reach your love. They can't reach your life when it's real relationship and intimacy and not a routine or tradition. I heard a song say, my worship is for real. So if your focus is on a big God, if your focus is on life-changing from heaven purpose and kingdom living, then a Facebook post shouldn't take your happiness. What somebody thinks about you wrong shouldn't hurt your heart. Social media shouldn't disturb your life if God is your refuge. God sent me by this morning to say it's time to knock all idols down and put him first. Put God first. Let me put some Bible on it on my way out. Matthew 6.33. But seek ye first the kingdom of God and all his righteousness and all these other things. These other things are love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control will be added to you.
Seek First Pray And Stand Solid
SPEAKER_00As we pray, Father God, I thank you for grace and mercy. Lord, I pray that no confusion would enter into the heart of your people. I pray that we stand on the solid rock. I pray that you are our refuge and our shelter in the time of need. Father God, I thank you for everything that you do. Lord, let your word go out and not return void. Father God, I pray that your presence be the strength that we need to continue to lift up the kingdom of God. Lord, I pray that a goal would be set into the heart of your people. And that goal will be to be in your presence forever. That goal will be to take someone with them to glory. Lord, I thank you for everything. Father God, give us strength in this last day, this wicked time where all this false information is spread abrupt. Father God, I pray, Lord, that your people would know the truth, that your people will know an honest word. Lord, I thank you for strength, and that's what we need right now. We need strength in the body of Christ. God, I pray for all those who are hurting. Lord, I pray your spirit of healing would fall afresh this morning. Everyone, under the sound of my voice, I pray, God, that you would touch, that you would hold, and that you would lead in God. I pray for the violence in the cities across the country. God, I pray for leadership that would rise up and be able to have the answers that this world needs. It's in Jesus' name that I pray. Amen. God bless you. Pray that the word of God was a blessing. When God is your refuge, not even your enemies can reach you. Praise God. Until next week, friends and family. Remember, keep it solid.
SPEAKER_01First thing first. No divide works.
