Reasonable Christianity?
Reasonable Christianity is a weekly podcast where ordinary people have thought-provoking conversations about an extraordinary God. Each week we take a look at the truth claims of Christianity, the teachings of the bible as well as the practices of the saints in order to evaluate and affirm the truthfulness of our faith and ultimately preserve the power of the gospel. Hosted by Roland Albertus

Are there modern day Apostles?

Are there Apostles today?
What I mean is: Are there individuals whose words are inspired by God and who are called to speak authoritatively on behalf of God?
This is a very important question because the answer has the potential to undermine the reliability and authority of the bible itself. For example, If there are apostles who are on par with the biblical writers then that would mean that these modern-day apostles are exempt from the authority of the scripture since what they say would have to be considered scripture.
Therefore, in today's episode I will present two views on whether or not modern-day apostles exist. It is my hope that this session would help the body of Christ to stand firm against all the different winds of doctrine that we come across.
