We talked about his life as a dad, how he’s always working on projects on the tour bus, having a daughter who has had brain cancer multiple times, the reality that come with that, his wife and son talking him into seeing scary movies. A lot of our converation is about his book and how he decided to write about John Quincy Adams. His love of researching, his excitement to tell this story, if founding fathers were good dads and writing a book for the first time.
