Abductive Reasoning = “inferring to the most reasonable explanation.”

The Process OF Abductive Reasoning:

Collect all the evidential data and make a mental list of the raw facts.
Develop a list of possible explanations
Compare the evidence to the potential explanation
Determine the most reasonable inference considering the evidence.
