THE BETRAYAL - David, Bathsheba, and Uriah

THE CONFRONTATION - David and Nathan (2 Samuel 12)

ALL sins have CONSEQUENCES.
THE FAMILY FALLS APART - David, Amnon, Tamar, Absalom
Amnon assaults Tamar David is ANGRY but does nothing (2 Samuel 13:21)
Absalom watches for 2 years as:
1) His sister suffers (desolate)
2) His father David remains silent
3) Injustice goes unanswered

INACTION with INJUSTICE leads to INSURRECTION.
ABSALOM RISES
Absalom is on the run for 3 years (2 Samuel 13:38)
Absalom comes back to Jerusalem but David
refuses to see him for 2 years. (2 Samuel 14:28)
