Survived - Ask. Don't Be An Askhole

In this episode of Survived, Karen, Chris, and Survive First Fire Liaison, Kevin Fault discuss the importance of the "ask"...asking your brother or sister if they are ok, as well as being vulnerable enough to ask for help when you need it.  They also discuss the importance of truly being able to be present in the answer and how critical it is to listen.  How we must understand that when our brothers and sisters are struggling, it may take more than once for them to begin to listen to our advice, so we must not give up.  Many times, people believe that asking someone if they are doing alright might make matters worse, but this is far from the truth.  Just asking may save a life.
