SPEAKER_00:

And what's up, y'all? Episode two of the 3P Pierre Pressure Forecast. Hey there, if you haven't uh guessed, this is your Captain Jesse speaking, and with me in the studio, as always, is a cruise coach. How are you doing, cruise coach?

SPEAKER_01:

What's up, Vacation Nation? I am blessed. Thank you so much for asking, Jesse. Yeah.

SPEAKER_00:

Yeah, so we're gonna get started real quick. Um, but since the last uh episode, uh we had uh Hurricane Melissa come through the great uh island nation of Jamaica. Um our brethren are down there, we pray for them. Uh great place to see either by cruise ship or anywhere else. You gotta get to Ocho Rios, Negrill, Montego Bay. I mean, a beautiful island, beautiful people, and we would pray for them uh immensely. And uh and big shout out to all the the cruise ships and uh the cruise ship carriers who are uh sending boats and and ships down there with supplies, I mean pallets of supplies, water, uh medicine, all the necessities. Uh we hope they get on back on their feet real soon, but again, they are surrounded by water, and the only way to for us to get goods to them is by uh ship, boat, or plane. So we really hope that um you know other the people with the means step up and we're really excited about the cruise industry uh being one of those first on on the scene to help and give some relief. So Yay. Um today is the Western Caribbean. We're gonna talk about uh how to get there, uh what boats uh head out there, and uh in the in the famous uh ports uh that uh that you'll see out there. And uh to lead that charge and uh this next segment will be the cruise coach.

SPEAKER_01:

So this is gonna be what we call a vibe show. Today you will see after the vibe show, we're gonna go ahead and jump into obviously the port of Tampa Bay and the Western Caribbean. Uh you'll know about the cruise ships, the uh how to embark and disembark from the port of Tampa Bay. You'll know about the three airports to to fly into in the in the big um cigar city or the big guava. Absolutely unbelievable. Yes. Uh you'll know about the three terminals in the port of Tampa Bay. That's right, Bakersville, aka Tampa Bay, Buccaneer Country. Uh we'll talk about the new things to come very soon within the next three to four years from Royal Caribbean and a few of the other cruise lines. And again, so many things. It's gonna be absolutely amazing. But before we do that, we're about to do an industry first. That's right, have a little bit of a vibe show and take you on a cruise into the Western Caribbean from the port of Tampa Bay.

SPEAKER_00:

And uh we're gonna start um right there, uh right there on the cruise deck. That's right.

SPEAKER_01:

What you see there is the beautiful cruise deck of the grandeur of the seas. Again, there are there are four cruise ships currently out of the port of Tampa Bay. You currently have the grandeur of the seas and the enchantment of the seas from Royal Caribbean. You also have the Carnival Paradise and the Margarita of the Sea Islander. But what you see right there is really what makes the smaller ships uh stunning from Royal Caribbean. Small, still stunning, and that is the beautiful Sundeck on Deck 11. And moving on, we have another pool. And again, pools galore. So not only do you have pools as you can see right there as well, hot tubs galore, again, uh nice and relaxing, a little R, West Cor Western Caribbean style. Uh simply uh you get on the ship out of the port of Tampa Bay. Uh you you hang out maybe in channelside for the night before. Again, we always urge to go ahead and spend the night before and after you get on the cruise ship, you carry on what you need to carry on. Room keys are regularly ready for you at 1 30. In the meantime, you hang out right there, nothing like it. Pool side.

SPEAKER_00:

And coach, uh remind everybody, since they're leaving out of Port of Tampa, how long till you get to the next port of call? Is it is it a uh a C day?

SPEAKER_01:

Yeah, most of the time when when you leave uh the port of Tampa Bay, sometimes it's one C day, sometimes it's two C days. So you're gonna take some time. You're gonna go ahead and slide. And the reason why we say that, you slide right down right through the Gulf. Uh again, it is so calm, it is so chill. You are about to see some sunsets unlike you have ever seen before. And again, it is so, so relaxing. We urge you to do that. Now, you those are usually anywhere from five to seven-day cruise tastic adventures or seven-night cruise tastic adventures on your way to the Western Caribbean, and again, places like Belize, Costa Maya, Mexico, Casumel, Mexico, Roatan, Honduras. Again, you might stop at the Cayman Islands as well. And again, not only the Western Caribbean, you might also stop in the Southern Caribbean, which is the ABC Islands. That's right, Aruba, Bonaire, and Carocao.

SPEAKER_00:

All right, moving on. Oh, another beautiful uh deck scene.

SPEAKER_01:

And again, deck after deck, right? We talk about fun in the sun. There is nothing like it. It is just a nice tropical adventure. You, uh, anywhere from uh couple thousand uh guests. So, right there, as you can see, you are on the grandeur of the seas. The grandeur of the seas has 1992 guests, however, it is a smaller ship, uh 74,000 gross registered tons. So, again, is one of the old one of the oldest ships in the fleet. Uh, it was uh made in voyage December of 1996, and again, it is absolutely stunning. And also, besides the grandeur, you also have the uh enchantment of the seas. Again, not as many guests, only about 1200 guests. So, again, your choice, Western Caribbean from Royal Caribbean, or you'll also see the carnival, that's right, paradise as well.

SPEAKER_00:

Very cool. Oh, beautiful picture.

SPEAKER_01:

And again, not only do we like the fun and the sun, well, how about when the sun goes down? And what you see right there is the pool deck at night. Nice, cool, calm. Again, super, super chill, ton of R and R. And what they do is they take that screen and they'll put a cinematic movie on there. So nothing better than you and your family maybe having a nice little relaxing Mai Thai or a frozen tropical drink. Our favorite is the MasterCard, um, which is a little bit of mango mixed with a little bit of strawberry or a mock tail for you and the kids, whichever you prefer, relaxing on that top deck, chill upon chill, watching a movie of your choice.

SPEAKER_00:

Yeah, movie under the stars, watching the stars. Unbelievable. So, how about this one?

SPEAKER_01:

And again, uh from the pool views. So, again, uh day after day, we recommend spend some time on the pool. Now, obviously, the older style ships aren't going to have the water slides, right? But they will have pools galore. And one thing we recommend, and one thing we ask for our guests, please don't hog those chairs. There are plenty of chairs to go around. The captain will attest. Yes. Have a little respect for your uh, you know, for the sailor next to you, and not just on this pool deck, but also when entering an elevator, please be patient. If you're the third family to walk up, well, you're the third in line to walk into that into that elevator. And again, respect the person next to you, and we promise you it will be a cruise tastic adventure, unlike ever before. I love it. There it is, that's right. So we go from small ships to the largest cruise ship in the world. 250,000 gross registered tongues, the icon of the seas out of Miami, Florida. Also, you have the Star of the Seas out of Port Canaveral, Florida. We know we're focusing on the port of Tampa. However, look out. Soon enough, out of Galveston, you might see another icon ship, maybe the icon 4. We will see, and not just we will see when it comes to the icon class ships, you will also hear about many phenomenal things to come from Royal Caribbean.

SPEAKER_00:

Yeah, more to come. I mean, our RCI is doing some incredible things.

SPEAKER_01:

Unbelievable.

SPEAKER_00:

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01:

And that truly is what you see behind us right there. That is what makes the smaller ships so memorable. Not just for you, but also for the family as well. If you want to get a drink, you go right there to the bar. But that is what's known as the centrum. The centrum goes from decks eight to deck five. You can find a nice seat, you and your family, or you can just chill, overlook that balcony from the games to the cruise director to fun with the family. And I promise you, that is truly what separates the older ships, the smaller ships. That's the difference between the new, larger ships with all these neighborhoods. Right. And there you see walking into the casino, a little buried treasure. R. Again, the port of Tampa Bay, the smaller ships straight to the one-armed bandits, and again, might be a hidden treasure in that next slot machine. You walk up to the Casino Royale will take care of you and your family. That's right. 18 and up. And that is the beautiful and stunning channel side that you see behind me. Uh, we spent a lot of time there when I was in college, uh, back at the University of Florida, Go Gators. Many, many hours in the 90s, we would drive down I-75. And again, there are three terminals in Tampa Bay. Two of them are located right there where you'll see that beautiful, stunning view of channel side, terminal two and terminal three, and then terminal six, which would be at McKay Street. And again, the best part of Tampa Bay is you pull right up to that terminal, you hand the valet your keys for only$20 more. Five days, uh, usually parking is about$95, and seven days about$125. Very reasonable compared to other ports that are out there. Very cool. And there it is. That is truly what makes there you go. Absolutely stunning. That right there, you go underneath the Sunshine Skyway Bridge, again, only feet from the top of the bridge. I'm sorry, from the bridge to the top of that cruise ship, and it is absolutely stunning, especially certain times of the year. You go under, as you can see, many people will go outside, just like you'll see right there in that vibe show. Beautifully and stunning, underneath that Skyway bridge and a view, unlike anywhere else. And Jesse, how many feet would you say on average is the port of Tampa, the the waterway?

SPEAKER_00:

So I know the right answer, but I think it was my impression that it was at least uh forty feet.

SPEAKER_01:

Forty to fifty is what most of our clients would say, and rumor has it, 12 feet.

SPEAKER_00:

See, for a channel, even like a uh I mean you gotta judge the tides well. I'm I'm I'm sure if the bay is, you know, it may not be affected too much by tides, but you can imagine if you know you gotta calibrate the the tide with going over that bridge. You don't want a collision, do you?

SPEAKER_01:

No, definitely not. And obviously some of these ships, both the enchantment and the grandeur of the seas, about a thousand feet in length. Right. Uh seventy-three to eighty-five uh thousand gross registered tons. So again, we're talking a lot of uh movement, but again, they do it better than most ports from the port of Tampa.

SPEAKER_00:

Well, I hope it's a wide channel, because if you're trying to like, you know, uh really stay on a a small uh you know width, then it that's gotta be a challenge for any captain to keep a boat you know within a certain uh uh width of a channel. Exactly. Hopefully it's you know, if it is that shallow, hopefully it's plenty wide.

SPEAKER_01:

Yeah, I fully agree with you, Captain. And there it is, probably the most popular destination in the Western Caribbean. Uh, that is Cazamel. Again, whether you want to go to one, two, three, or four destinations, that is the most popular, you have Cazamel right there. The second most popular would be Costa Maya, a lot of things to come with Cazumel and Costa Maya. You also have Roatan Honduras, which Royal Caribbean has done a phenomenal job with that, and then Belize, absolutely amazing. And rumor has it as well, Progreso is continuing to get more and more popular. About half a million uh cruisers have gone through the port of Progreso, and that is up 80%. So hats off to the Western Caribbean, uh, the natives there, and again, just welcoming us to paradise. Amen. Again, uh, maybe you might need to uh get on that smaller ship. We've got a uh you know uh uh life preserver right there. We highly suggest do never to grab those life preservers unless you need it, or maybe you just want to float back to the ship. Again, we don't really recommend that as well, but that is a nice side view. That's right. That is the um that is the starboard side of the grandeur of the seas. Again, 12 total decks, 996 staterooms, 1992 guests at double occupancy, and again, built in Finland, made in voyage, 1996. An oldie but a goodie, and one of our favorite ships that we cruise on with Team Limitless Travel at least once a year.

SPEAKER_00:

Yeah, until the uh the port of Tampa gets a uh a sky bridge uh that that has a drawbridge feature. Yes, you know, that's a that's a fixed height, so any any ship leaving there uh you know is gonna have to have a uh uh a height limit, right? So um, but just like some of those Viking cruises in uh in Europe, they have to go under some extremely short uh bridges. But you know, they they still have the boats that accommodate and you're able to go up and down uh those those beautiful rivers in Europe. So it's not again, it's not always the the boat is always limiting, right?

SPEAKER_01:

Yes, sir. And a couple things that we love about these ships is just especially dining. We'll go ahead and allude to that here in a minute. Again, what you saw there is the mix that's from the carnival uh paradise uh over going over to the grandeur of the seas. So again, whether you're in Cozumel and you go left to right, whether you want to get with this, which is the Carnival uh cruise ships, or you want to get with that, which is the Royal Caribbean cruise ships, we've got you covered. And not just these two cruise ships, you'll also see MSC, Holland America, Stay Tuned, Norwegian, Celebrity, which is also part of the Royal Caribbean family. So much more. Usually, on average, eight vessels out of the three terminals from Port of Tampa Bay. And again, Cigar City, the big guava, has got you covered along with peer pressure poorcast. And don't mind that ugly mug right there. That might look familiar. Blue shirt on blue shirt, again, uh the old Team Limitless Travel logo. Again, we are so thankful for our affiliates in the industry. Chris Ingalls, when he was with Team Limitless Travel, and now currently with Blake and Josie Spa with Maluna Travel. Again, we have you covered. If you want to go on a land tour, check out Maluna Travel. They're one of our affiliates. And if you need a cruise, we've got you covered at Peer Pressure Poorcast with the captain and the cruise coach. Again, that right there. Yeah. How would you describe that, Captain Jesse?

SPEAKER_00:

I mean, looking aft towards you know, where you're coming from and just watching that horizon disappear, the the the the prop wash, you know. I mean, sometimes there's dolphins and other sea life, you know, playing in the prop wash behind you. Sometimes they're on the bow, you know, being like that they like to be chased by the boat. Uh, but either way, it's um it's just a beautiful vista. I mean, it's just I mean, especially the golf. You know, the golf can be as still as a mirror sometimes, and just like this uh video represents, uh, yeah, it's just um you mean you're you're the only ripple in in the whole ocean, you know?

SPEAKER_01:

You know, and and again, you could be looking off the rock climbing wall, and that can be your view. That's what makes these ships so stunning. And again, whether it's carnival, whether it's royal, and there you go. That right there is the creme de la creme, the best view I've ever seen. Sunsets unlike anywhere else. Yeah. And again, from left to right, from forward to aft, nothing like it. Just you, a little bit of prescription to paradise from Peer Pressure Portcast and Peer PressurePortcast.com. Don't forget, also check out prescription the number two paradise.com as well. And we've got you covered, whether it's the captain, whether it's the cruise coach, or the peer pressure portcast team. And there she is. Oh boy. Again, not out of the port of Tampa Bay, utopia of the seas, the world's biggest weekend, and rumor has it, they will have one episode of the Western Caribbean. Oh. Stay tuned. Oh. Sometime in 2026, they will be leaving the port of that's right, the People's Port right here in Port Canaver, and taking one itinerary to the Western Caribbean. That could be exciting. Again, as you can see, it doesn't matter whether there's a cloud in the sky, the grandeur of the seas, and the enchantment of the seas, or the carnival paradise, or the islander from uh Margaritavilla of the Sea. And again, it is absolutely stunning. The waters speak for itself. We suggest you take a plunge right there, right off the port in Cozumel. Don't forget Costa Maya, some phenomenal shopping. Don't forget Roatan Honduras. Uh, again, you will see another hack from Team Limitless Travel, and don't forget, right there, you will see the MSC C class. That is the seaside. Absolutely amazing. You will find those out of Port of Miami and Port Canaveral. Again, too vast to go underneath the Skyway Bridge. But MSC is really putting their claws in the Caribbean market. Uh of all the percentages when we talk about the Caribbean, Jesse, what would you say of all the cruises in the world, what percentage goes to the Caribbean? Oh, 80%. 72, sir. Okay. 72%. So right on there. So again, whether it's the MSC, again, MSC has some beautiful, stunning ships. Again, a little bit smaller, so they're not going to be as vast as that C class right there with the seaside. Um, but again, absolutely stunning. And again, Ocean uh K is very popular as well, which is an uh a marine uh reserve. And again, we highly suggest to put that in your itinerary.

SPEAKER_00:

Who do you think is a uh a typical MSC cruiser versus a Royal Caribbean?

SPEAKER_01:

You know, it really right now it's it's price point, right? What is worth worth? So it has to do with what do you expect. A lot of clients truly are um, you know, loyalty is key with Royal Caribbean. Royal Caribbean does things the best of the best. But if you're looking to save a little bit of money, you're looking to go on a cruise tastic adventure, uh, again, the ships are a little bit laid out different than Royal Caribbean, you're not gonna find as many, um, you're not gonna find as many uh slides, right? A little bit more elegant when it comes to the visuals. So again, jaw dropping, and we highly suggest if you want to try a uh MSc product out of the port of Miami, the World America, and again, MSc stands for Mediterranean Shipping Company. So they have done a phenomenal. Job transforming themselves from a true shipping company to now transporting sailors as a shipping company from one side of the world to the other.

SPEAKER_00:

Ideal. All right. Well, that's that's a good uh explanation for our passengers because sometimes it's hard to choose. If you're if you're loyal to Royal and all that, that's all you know, then what is it about you know Norwegian or an MSc or a celebrity that would make a loyal passenger decide, like, oh, let's go enjoy this. Is it the itinerary? Is it the dining options? I've heard that. Is it, you know, uh some I believe Norwegian had everything inclusive, including alcohol at one time? Yes, sir. So it really depends on what your experience looks like. And again, that could be the dining experience, excursions, or the or the different ports of call. And that includes their private islands.

SPEAKER_01:

And what would you say, Jesse, of everything that you go on a cruise ship for, whether it's price, whether it's itinerary, whether it's the ship itself, whether it's the loyalty to the brand, what would you say based on the clientele in the world is number one of all of those?

SPEAKER_00:

Uh clientele? I mean, I think Royal Caribbean dominates.

SPEAKER_01:

Right. So obviously cruise ship wise, Royal Caribbean might have is the creme de la creme. But of those that I just named, from itinerary being the most important to the ship itself, to the brand, to um the price point, obviously most people would probably say what? Price point. Price point. Right. It's actually itinerary. So itinerary is first based on the travel industry, and then goes hand in hand, just a few percentage lower, would be that price point. And that's what MSc has really done a phenomenal job of. If you want to go on a Fortnite uh out of out of any of the local ports, uh you can simply get on there usually for the price with a drink package and Wi-Fi included, they've done a really good job honing into that market. Uh again, versus just getting on a royal ship. Probably with Royal Caribbean, you will pay bits and pieces more for the odds and ends. But again, whether it's it's MSc, whether it's Royal Caribbean, whether it's Carnival, whether it's NCL, which is Norwegian, we have you covered. And that this picture right here truly, truly explains why Royal Caribbean is one of the most popular cruise lines. What you see nearest to us is an Oasis class ship. So that's gonna have seven or eight neighborhoods, right? It's gonna be a floating city, just like we talk about. Usually five to seven thousand, eight thousand uh cruisers on it. And then what you see in the background is going to be that vision class. That vision class, again, may or may not really soon be replaced with the discovery class. So again, stay tuned. We talk about many things to come with Royal Caribbean, but again, that's the grandeur, that's the serenade, those are the vision and radiance classes, usually, like I said, anywhere from about um 70 to 90,000 gross registered tons versus the front ship anywhere from 225 to 23600,000 gross registered tons. So, really, the grandeur of the seas could probably fit inside of any of those OASIS classes. No kidding.

SPEAKER_00:

That is quite the comparison, yes, sir.

SPEAKER_01:

And again, we talk about itineraries, that is a very popular art mural right there. We talk about culture, we talk about what sets the Western Caribbean apart from everywhere else. That is Costa Maya, absolutely stunning, colors upon colors, and again, safety is a big priority for them. You'll do all your shopping in one centralized location. You might dip your feet in some water as well. But again, culture is truly what separates the Western Caribbean. And there it is right there. Just a year ago, a year and a half ago, our youngest daughter, we simply said, Hey, what do you want to do this summer? She says, All I want is a taco from Mexico. So there you see, right there, a little uh carne asada, my favorite. Oh, yeah. A little bit of uh verde salsa, uh, a little bit of lime, and washing it down with a little bit of uh uh you know juice right there. And again, there is nothing like it. You want true authentic food from Mexico. No kidding. You take a little dip in the pool, you're you're you're you're skating over on the Gulf, right over to the Western Caribbean, and that was one of the first things we did. And as you can see, there's so much to do, but please try an authentic taco from Mexico. No kidding.

SPEAKER_00:

Getting hungry already.

SPEAKER_01:

There you go. And there is our hack we talked about earlier. That is located in Costa Maya. I'm sorry, that is uh Roatan, Honduras. Yeah, that is the Maya Key. And as you can see, so many things to do there. Wildlife galore, um, Jesse. Uh, go ahead and just explain some of the things you see right there on that beautiful signage.

SPEAKER_00:

Yeah, if I was reading, yeah, on the right column you see uh sea lions, we got the aviary, which is where all the birds are at, uh jaguar uh habitat, you got small cats habitat, uh we have white faced monkeys and spider monkeys, a toucan. So you have like it's it's like a little zoo over there, but of all the indigenous uh species of animals.

SPEAKER_01:

And again, not just the animals, you will see the planes, they fly right over the island. It's got a beautiful and stunning pool. So you go from pools to beaches, absolutely amazing. Again, grandeur of the seas, right there, row it on Honduras, do a little shopping, you take a little tender over to Maya Key, and again, you are treated truly like royalty. I'm saying, look at that. We got some ruins, it looks like. That's it. You know, again, culture, culture, culture. That's the best way we can describe the Western Caribbean. And again, as you can see, that is right there, the grandeur of the seas pulling right into uh the port of Roatan, Honduras. They've done a really, really good job of making sure your your family safety is the number one priority. You'll go in, you'll see uh uh from the minute you pull up to the port, you get to do some shopping there, you jump on a tender, you go to a few of the keys around, just like you saw there with Maya Key. Again, absolutely stunning. Grandeur of the seas, enchantment of the seas, and again, Paradise from Carnival, and don't forget the smaller islander from uh Margaritaville of the Seas. And there it is. That just stare at it. Just take three seconds and stare at it. That right there.

SPEAKER_00:

And pictures don't do all the justice.

SPEAKER_01:

No, but if we're gonna talk about pictures, now you're making me hungry. I know, right? And we're gonna go ahead and start off with dessert. Again, some of the specialty restaurants you see on board, you have the chef's table, you have Chop's Grill, you have the Giovanni's table, and then you have a zoomy. Now, one thing with the zoomy is you don't have the hibachi tables, but you'll always have their signature desserts. The top of the screen right there is gonna be the lovely lava cake, and then the mochi balls on the bottom. Again, their version of ice cream. We're not big on the pistachio flavored, so you can see two strawberry mango right in the middle with a little bit of strawberry paste.

SPEAKER_00:

Yeah, we got garnish, show me.

SPEAKER_01:

Absolutely amazing. And again, working our way from dessert to the main course, sushi upon sushi. Uh it is absolutely stunning. And you're gonna see, you know, sushi, many people think sushi means raw. Right. And that's actually not the case, just like the captain's, you know, talking about now. Um, again, he's delved in a little bit of uh sushi restaurants in his lifetime. Oh, yeah. Uh, and again, just the presentation is what knocks it out of the box for Royal Caribbean Azumi. Whether you want to do the Azumi hibachi, which is our favorite on the larger ships, whether you want to do sushi, or the whether you want to do a big plate and a small plate, like you're gonna see um on these other sized ships, it is hands down our favorite, and it is truly a three-course meal. Getting a little zoom in right there. Jesse, go ahead and describe what you see.

SPEAKER_00:

Well, on the left, it it looks like some kind of uh either lettuce or cabbage, some kind of thin wrap with cooked rice and looks like some other cooked ingredients. Everything looks great.

SPEAKER_01:

Possibly a veggie roll.

SPEAKER_00:

Veggie roll, yeah. I was gonna say, or maybe like a um a dissected uh a spring roll of some sort. Uh here we have the tempura on top of uh a traditional uh sushi rice uh roll. I see some seaweed in there as well. And tempura, of course, uh flaky, delightful uh batter that they they have.

SPEAKER_01:

You can't forget the spicy mayo and the eel sauce on the right. No, no, that's our favorite.

SPEAKER_00:

Yeah. Yeah, I think it's everybody's favorite. And then on the right, you see some inside out uh with the tuna on the on the outside, and looks like some avocado, perhaps, some uh looks like also some tempura in the middle, pickled ginger, and your Japanese horseradish, aka wasabe. Wasabi all of it looks amazing.

SPEAKER_01:

Sushimi I love sashimi. You know, zooming in a little bit more, that is obviously that is what most people would consider sushi. Uh beautiful, nice slab of tuna right there in the front, all the way to the shrimp on the end. Again, whatever you'd like, they will make it to your liking. And again, sushi's not for everybody, but we highly suggest try it once. I was not a fish person growing up, but I can tell you, I love me sometimes.

SPEAKER_00:

Well, I think uh the sushi is more entry-level. Sashimis just fresh cut fish. Correct. Correct. Uh sushi usually always incorporates a rice and a seaweed. Sometimes not, sometimes, but it's usually always prepared as a roll, right? Sashimi, that's just fresh, raw fish.

SPEAKER_01:

And again, nice, beautiful slabs right there, colors beyond belief.

SPEAKER_00:

Yeah, I see all your omegas there. Some that looks like probably like a chilled shrimp. You don't want to eat raw shrimp, but they'll they'll uh cook it like usually a poach or something, and then serve it um just slightly cooked, uh with uh without the shell there, and uh yeah, looks like some um hamachi or some snapper, some salmon, some tuna, uh and a seaweed salad. All of it looks amazing, beautiful presentation. Love how Japanese cook.

SPEAKER_01:

Nigeri is one of my favorites as well. Again, uh that's where they take a little bit of the fish, as you see here, they put it a little bit over rice. Again, just had some yesterday. Yeah, baby. And again, whether you want to go raw, whether you want to go uh seared, or you want to have it fried. The tempura is hands down our favorite.

SPEAKER_00:

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01:

Uh I believe Jesse and I have had conversations. You could even have asparagus tempura, and it is absolutely amazing. And truly, again, you dip it in a little bit of soy sauce, it is phenomenal. Top to bottom, that tempura batter makes it.

SPEAKER_00:

Yeah, how do you get kids to eat uh their veggies? You know, just batter it, deep fry it in tempura, and uh man, it just makes a good snack on the go. And whether it's uh soy or panzu or whatever the serving sauce is, a little dipping sauce goes a long way. And uh yeah, you know, and that's one thing about cruising. You could you could be in Mexico eating fine Japanese cuisine, like there's no rules, and usually there's so many dining options that uh it all makes sense. So anyway, that was a great slideshow. Yay, coach. I appreciate that. I don't want to have to add up an applause track right there. A little vibe show right there.

SPEAKER_01:

And again, yeah, just a couple things. We know we talked a lot about the grandeur of the seas. You have the enchantment of the seas, which also has 12 decks. I know we alluded to the Utopia, which has 18 decks, again, a little bit smaller, only 1,100 uh staterooms, 2,200 guests, uh again, 82,000 gross registered tons. Uh again, a little bit older as we talk about 1997. Both of these ships are again. Vision class. Uh again, we would say stay tuned because the Discovery class might be replacing those. And again, from the Sunshine Skyway Bridge to Sunsets, valet parking, a big port with small ships, ease of embarking and disembarking, and just minutes on and off top to bottom. Uh Port of Tampa Bay is hands down one of our favorites, aka Cigar City. Again, short little drive over to Ybor City. Uh you have Bayshore Boulevard with the longest sidewalk in the world. And Jesse, how long would you say that sidewalk is?

SPEAKER_00:

I know Bayshore Drive. Um, how many feet that sidewalk is? Oh, feet? Yeah. Long? Yeah. Well, if it's miles, it's got to be about 45. No, about five, I would say five miles, maybe like six thousand feet.

SPEAKER_01:

4.5. So that was a trick question. I tried to get you right there. A little stump the captain right there from the cruise coach. I was calculating, I'm like, mmm. Okay. And what else do you think Tampa might be known for?

SPEAKER_00:

Well, it's got the cigars, Ebor. So you have the old town, right? The Latin quarter. Um it's the Bulls, home of U USF. Sure. Uh St. Pete Clearwater, Sarasota. Right.

SPEAKER_01:

Um which is the airports, which we'll talk about.

SPEAKER_00:

Okay. And uh yeah, just uh white sand beaches and beautiful sunsets.

SPEAKER_01:

First passenger flight, 1914. Oh. And also known, rumor has it, as the lightning capital of the world. That's been very fun. What sport?

SPEAKER_00:

Oh, the hockey team, right?

SPEAKER_01:

There you go. Yeah. Yeah, there you go. And again, like Jesse and I were just alluding to, if you want to fly into the beautiful and stunning port of Tampa, you can fly into Tampa International just minutes away from the port. You have the St. Pete Clearwater port and the Sarasota Bradington port. And again, it is absolutely amazing, just like here, uh Port Canaveral, three airports to fly into will get you right over from Port of Tampa, right over to the Western Caribbean or the Southern Caribbean.

SPEAKER_00:

Yeah, here I hear that. So uh and one thing about Tampa as well, you're right there uh by Orlando. So you could easily go to Tampa's own bush gardens. You could again, we always recommend doing the surf and turf, you know, you bookend each cruise with a couple days in either that host city where you're sailing out of or an adjacent city. It's not too far fetched to maybe fly into MCO in Orlando, enjoy a couple days at a theme park in Orlando, Walt Disney World Universal. You have your pick, SeaWorlds. I mean, there's there's so many of them. And then uh and then uh you know, get an Uber or something else, and or maybe so even some uh van line. Some of the uh cooperating hotels will have vans that that uh go to Tampa. Uh but yeah, there's all kinds of ways to bookend your vacation so you can enjoy a little bit of uh land and then a little bit of water. We call it the surfing turf.

SPEAKER_01:

Perfect. And again, just we don't want to leave the carnival paradise out of it. No Guy's Burger Joint is a very popular eatery on there. The Blue Iguana Cantina, pizza galore, bonsai sushi, Lido Marketplace, coffee bar. Some places would be to kind of hang out, the piano bar, the dance club, blue iguana tequila bar, and the red frog rum bar. So whether you like tequila or rum, they've got you covered. Again, a little bit of an older ship built in 1998, uh, gross tonnage, about 71,000 gross registered tons, 2600 capacity uh total, and team members about 900. State rooms about a little over a thousand, but not just the cruise ships. So you I know you've been waiting on this, and I know we've talked about it. Here are some cool things the Western Caribbean has to offer. We'll just go through, kind of slide through these really quick, really fast. December 2025, not necessarily in the Western Caribbean. Royal Caribbean will have its Royal Beach Club Paradise Island in Nassau. So if you spend a lot of time on Nassau, we highly recommend it. It is the first ever private beach club exclusive to Royal Caribbean. It is what's called the Ultimate Day Beach Experience, about$129 per person. Your drink package should carry over, and here we go. These are the next few that are gonna blow your mind. All right, let's hear it. December 2026, Royal Beach Club Cozumel. Oh, so not just on the normal uh smaller islands, we've got that right there. Now that'll be exclusive to Royal Caribbean as well, just a small, just a short 10-minute drive. Uh, they're still working on how they're gonna do that. You'll have zones everywhere from chill to family to party, swim up bar, uh, beach space galore, cabanas, snorkeling, kayaking, restaurants, and street markets. So stay tuned. And here we go. We're talking the first ever outside of the North American uh culture, L'elepa. Lelepa. Absolutely amazing. First private destination again outside of uh North America, September of 2027, the biggest sombrero in the world. Oh. Costa Maya, perfect day Mexico, rumor has it, over 31 slides, twice the size of Coco K Bahamas, 220 acres of land, five zones, uh Fiesta, uh, plaza, chill beach, Costa Maya Club, El Hideaway, so an adults-only spot, and the Splash Cove. Those are the uh spots that are gonna be absolutely cruistastic. And don't forget from Royal Caribbean, Icon 4 in 2027, icon five in 2028, Oasis class 7, number 7 in 2028, and like we talked about earlier, the Discovery class, which in our opinion will probably be replacing the Vision class. So just like we talked about the enchantment, just like we've talked about the grandeur, stay tuned, Royal Caribbean doing some big things.

SPEAKER_00:

So much big things. Um, and then before we go, we just have to do a quick shout out to our amazing uh uh you know, we we've been doing like so many things behind the scenes, and one of those was like, well, what about merch? Because not just best of the best. Yeah, because I mean cruise coach, like you you know the power of uh branding and having I mean everybody recognizes you with those shirts now. When you go on, everybody recognizes the logo. That's it. They come up to you, they know who you are, you're the personality uh that everybody sees on TikTok and Instagram, and uh and of course, peer pressure porkast would not be complete without our own merchandise. So we have to give a big shout out to FlowMason.

SPEAKER_01:

Jesse. Um that man right there has got some things going on, Jesse. Yeah good old Steve Huss right there, an old friend of Team Limitless Travel, an old friend of yours. I know you're rocking a cup with his logo right there. We just saw him at Jason Noon's concert. So again, it's family galore. Again, FlowMason, Bromasin, many, many things as you'll see on the website. You simply go to Floma.com, you simply go to uh merch partners, and you go ahead and click on podcast, and you will see the unbelievable R stuff right there.

SPEAKER_00:

Oh, there it is.

SPEAKER_01:

So again, whether you want to buy one of our peer pressure port class uh exclusives, or you want to buy any more uh from Flow Mason, he's got you covered, the best in the business, Flowmazon, Bromasin, Triple P, 3P, Peer Pressure Portcast, and Exclusive First.

SPEAKER_00:

I know it. Look at that. We got the collab, we got the we got the branding, cruise coach FlowMason. It includes a little bit of everything, the 3P on the hull of the ship, of course, the uh cross on top, that's it, the mic. It's got all of our uh signature imagery. So we have again mics and crosses and and ships. It says everything you need to say about the peer pressure portcast. And if you're a fan of any one or all three, it makes a great addition to your wardrobe. And of course, when you sail with us, you know, everybody's gonna be sweating your stees. That's all it is to it. But yeah, look at all the Flomaison headwear. Can you shop here? Get some of his uh long sleeve. These are all uh part of uh Steve's uh Flomazin uh creation. Got the got the Florida flags, got all the festive shirts.

SPEAKER_01:

And again, if you want to. Collab with Flo Mason, just let us know. We'll get you over to him. We also want to thank a few of our other sponsors as well. Jesse Hall with the Space Coast Collective at LPT Realty. Again, Misty at Amara Salon and Spa. If you want to get your hair done, nails done, you want to get your lady right. She's just a few minutes with Amara Salon and Spa right there from 528 on the way to Port Canaveral here. Again, so many things. The cruise coach will have you covered. You want to go on a cruise, you want to go anywhere in the world. We do more than cruises. And again, not just cruises. We want to invite you on a group trip with us. We just got off a Halloween cruise with 36 clients. We have uh groups that are in the hundreds. So if you have a celebration you want to have had, give us a call at Peer Pressure Portcast. We got you covered. Discounts on rooms start off at about 16 sailors, eight rooms or more, and it just gets bigger and bigger from there. Again, the captain, the cruise coach, peer pressure portcast, and Jesse, do you mind if I pray us out and uh say a little uh condolences and uh thank uh the good Lord for keeping those safe in Jamaica?

SPEAKER_00:

Yes, absolutely.

SPEAKER_01:

Dear Lord, we love you and we thank you. We thank you for every opportunity and every blessing, Lord. We just pray that you'll be with the the islands and the area of Jamaica and anyone else who has been um basically paralyzed from uh Hurricane Melissa or any other hurricanes that have come through. We know the state of Florida has been spared and we thank you so much, Lord. We just pray that you'll continue to build these areas unlike they've ever been built before. You must we know you must deconstruct before you reconstruct, Lord. We pray for any family dealing with any heart wake, heartache from any of these hurricanes or any of these natural disasters or even mental health. Lord, we pray for every sailor to keep them safe on any cruises here with peer pressure portcasts or with any of the cruise lines, Lord. We know that your light will shine brighter than anybody else. We pray that you will be just continuing to light the darkness out of this world. And again, Lord, we know that this world exists because of you. We love you and we thank you, and we just pray that if someone does not have a relationship with you, they can simply reach out to us and we will get them and connect with our favorite church locally, or if they just want to have a conversation about you, Lord. Our ears are open. We know that please guide our voices, please guide our actions, and we pray that everything we do, Lord, is done in your light. We love you and we thank you, and we know that Peer Pressure Portcasts cannot exist without your light, Lord. We love you and we thank you. In your name we pray.

SPEAKER_00:

Amen. That was lovely. Thank you so much, Coach. Thank you to all of our Vaca Nation audience. We love you guys, and uh that's it. That's an episode two wrap up. Follow us, and we'll take you still.
