Greetings. Spring is springing. And it is actually spring today. Yes, yes, it is. People are howling, and Tudosy Broads is back for yet another stirring journey into the sub basements of life. Really? Yeah. Where will we go this time? We may have a script, but even we don't know exactly where we're going. We are unscripted. The podcast is scripted. We are not. The Don is hoping we don't stray too far from accepted reality. Gary has given up hoping that long ago, long ago. And Blaze is sleeping on the couch. Yes, she is. And she doesn't care what we do as long as she has a steady supply of snuffle snacks. That's right. And we are. Sandy from Gemological Esoterica. And Linda Strochane from the Mercury Academy. And we are two dozy bras. This week we are discussing lying and liars. Yes. Unnecessary lies we were told as children. Stones to help liars repent. And an astrological reason why so much lying and unhinged talking is flowing freely. We'll start with the stones.
SPEAKER_01No, we're going to start with the story, which is why we're going to be talking about the stones. Oh, okay. This this is a story that goes back many decades. Okay. We were always told that one of our cousins was born on February 29th. And we were told by everyone. Yes. It didn't matter aunts, uncles, grandma, everybody, he was born on February 29th. Yes. And the last few years, every time we see his birthday thing on Facebook, you and I sit there and we're going, well, that doesn't make any sense because he's you are older than he is. I am younger than he is. Yeah. But we kept trying to figure out what goes on with Leap Years because it didn't make sense. It simply didn't make sense. He wasn't owning the 29th as his birthday. No, no, but a lot of people don't. I mean, a lot of people on the 29th don't. A lot of people with anniversaries don't. But he never did. But we every year we would sit and we'd be going, what is going on? So finally, this year, I looked up on Ancestry and I found him, and he was born on the 28th, and not on a leap year. No. And all of a sudden, all became clear. You were older, I was younger, he was kind of in the middle, pretty much in the middle. And we kept looking at each other, going, why did the family lie to us? Exactly. And every single person lied to us. Grandma lied to us, our mothers lied to us, our fathers lied to us. Well, my father didn't know, you didn't care.
SPEAKER_00Exactly. But there was no there was no societal reason. No. Or something like that.
SPEAKER_01And so we started talking about all the different things, the reasons. Why does family lie about the stupid stuff?
SPEAKER_00Exactly. Not not the things that are, oh, this is a dread secret or something like that. No, it's it's the dumb stuff.
SPEAKER_01And we It was like one of our cousins who was born prematurely. Yes. You were told that when I was too young for that one.
SPEAKER_00Yes. She was she was born prematurely. And I I said that for for years, and then oh God, I was an adult when uh Aunt Uni Brown and I were talking, and I said, Well, she was uh premature, and she said, no, she wasn't. And then again, suddenly all became clear. Uh that was more for societal reasons. Yes, at the time. Yes. Exactly. But there It was still a lie. It was still a lie, but there was at least a little bit of vague s reasoning. I suppose, yeah.
SPEAKER_01At at that point in time. You know what my father's thing always was that the second child takes nine months, the first one can come anytime. Yes. And that was that was the the rebuttal to that way back when. Yes.
SPEAKER_00But it it every family has to have some of these things that just are said. Yes. Reaffirmed often enough to stick. But you grow up and there's no reason for it.
SPEAKER_01No, and you just accept it as truth because you did when you were ten. Exactly. At sixty, you accepted it, and then all of a sudden you go, everybody's gone. You can't you can't confront any of them anymore. We can't say to Aunt Uni Brow, why? Why what was all What possessed you to make this one up?
SPEAKER_00That one, the one up the one about Leap Year. Yeah. There is no sense in it. And now we look back on some of the other things and think, were they were they stretching the truth? Was there any any truth in this at all? And so we're uh we're we're second guessing a lot of things now. Well we're well, we're still on this side of the dirt nap and we can do it. That's right. Well well after that we won't care. So no, but then we'll have superpowers so we can come back and we can we can and haunt people that don't exist anymore, yeah.
SPEAKER_01No, but we can we can do all kinds of cool stuff. Okay. So we can then we can say that we died on a leap year or something like that.
SPEAKER_00Well we can we can tell all kinds of truth that we never found out.
SPEAKER_01Can come back and but does it will it matter? That's my whole point. Will it matter? But anyway, I have some stones for lying. We started talking about this, and I said, well, you know, there are stones for liars and lying. Thank God. And the first one, and this has a story attached to it too, is fire agate. Fire agate comes from the southwest United States. It was first found in 1939. Uh so Southwest United States and a bit of Mexico. Beautiful, beautiful agate with rainbow colors. And fire agate helps you or whoever is holding it to be as truthful as possible.
SPEAKER_00Wow.
SPEAKER_01And they have become quite expensive now, but back then they were more expensive 30 years ago when I opened the shop. And I had a big one. I my my hands are pointing to something about two by two inches right now. And one of my customers bought it because she was obsessed with people lying to her. Okay. Um I I have no more information than that, but anyway, she buys this piece. And so what she would do is she had several children, and when she didn't believe them, she gave the whole story. You cannot lie when you are holding a fire agate. And she really got that story going. She got that one going. If you're holding this fire agate, you're gonna tell me the truth. So the kids, the girls would come in, and you know, they would have been out underage drinking the night before, and she'd go and she'd say, Here, hold this in your hand. Now, you cannot lie with the fire agate. What did you do last night? And these kids bought it. Hold the holy stone and tell me the truth. Well, she also had a husband that occasionally. Oh so anyway, so fire agate, not necessarily it can work for other people, but it can work for you. So if you're wearing your fire agate, which is a beautiful stone, you are going to have the tendency to be more truthful. Which can be good, bad, or indifferent.
SPEAKER_00It can be, depending on the situation.
SPEAKER_01Well, it depends on the situation. If there's a situation where you would like to be as truthful as possible, fire agate is a really good stone to have.
SPEAKER_00Now, is it kind of like the uh ancient Greek curse where whatever somebody else has to do, you have to do as well?
SPEAKER_01Oh, yeah, but it depends basically on who's holding the agate. Ah, so wearing this agate. So if you hand it to me, you can go back to being I can be a pathological dick and I can and I'm yeah.
SPEAKER_00I can be a pathological liar. That's right. And it it won't land on my head at that moment.
SPEAKER_01So fire agate, if you can find fire agate, now there's a lot of stones out there right now that say they're fire agate and they are not. Uh, but if you find the fire agate from the Southwest United States, which is a botaryoidal rainbow agate, that's the one we're talking about. How do you tell if it's oh it's very obvious? It's very, very obvious. I just I just told everybody it was a botaryoidal rainbow. So so if you know anything about stones and if you don't look it up. Well, what am I supposed to do online? I can't, I can't describe, I cannot describe it more than that. No I'm I'm not holding one. If I were holding one, I'm telling you the truth, I'd be saying the same damn thing. So anyway, so anyway, the next one is red jasper. And red jasper, which is a very common stone, is getting to the truth. Ah. And that's so that would be like digging down what we would have done if we had realized what idiots we were about about the cousin thing. We would have both held red jasper and we would have dug it up and we would have found it much, much quicker than than it than it took us. What 50 years? Think of the things we would have found out decades before. Or we or the questions we actually would have asked and maybe got an answer. Here, ma, hold this fire agate while I ask you.
SPEAKER_00Well, even if they wouldn't have answered, none of them had a good poker face. Oh, no, no, no, no. When it came to truth and lying. They could they could lie when it came to playing cards. Yes, oh yeah. But not when they were cutthroat at the cards.
SPEAKER_01They were cutthroat.
SPEAKER_00Oh yeah. But not when it came to truth and lying.
SPEAKER_01That's right. That's right. So that would have, but like I say, we we may have found stuff out sooner. Of course, we didn't know we were dumb. We're still dumb. They counted. And then the third one I want to talk about is Holly Blueagate. And that is for speaking your truth. That is, I know that I need to make myself clear. And I want to speak truthfully with the utmost veracity, I would hold Holly Blueagate or handle or wear Holly Blueagate. That is a good marketing. Well, depending on who you are. So that is what I have for stones and lying. And someday, if you want to hear the story about our our aunts and uncles and parents and playing cards, oh my god, they were cutthroat.
SPEAKER_00Maybe maybe someday we'll do uh do do something on on how otherwise uh inane and honest and lovely pastimes can turn people into demons and devils.
SPEAKER_01Yes, really tyrants. Everybody has an experience about that, though. So that's what I have. So I think you have something about Pluto, don't you?
SPEAKER_00I have I've I have Pluto, but I'm gonna start with the Mercury retrograde. Ah, that's right. And that's what that with the last uh the last stone you brought up. Now it's retrograde officially from basically, say, about the 10th of March to the 10th of April. Okay. Give or take a couple days, the the effect will be that long. And it's in Aries, which is raw energy, going back into Pisces, which is raw energy. Whiny emotion, which is whiny energy. Whiny energy and raw emotion. And people will be okay, there'll be people who will be blurting out the truth, whether they have the stone or not. There will be people whose lies will be caught. There's a lot of that going on if you look at the world at large. There's a lot of oops going on. I didn't mean to say that. I didn't mean to tell the truth. What do you what do you what do you mean I told the truth? And at this point in time, while we're in Pisces, instead of getting the Aries, which is, well, I'm just going to buffalo my way through it, tough my way through. Pisces says, Oh, but I have a sad story to explain why I'm such a pathological liar. And known a few of those. Oh, yeah. The upside of this is complicated situations are revealed and you start to see ways you can get past them. The detriment for everyone is that there tend to be more steps to get to accomplishment than there usually are. For me personally, I'm finding that my ability to speak becomes minimal. My ability to comprehend or be comprehensible is minimal. But of course, and there are other people who have a wonderful time doing this, and everything comes together. It's not just the retrograde, it's a combination of the energies at that moment in your chart. Now, the business with Pluto, Pluto's an Aquarius, and with Pluto, Pluto drags things up from the depths, as I've talked before, and it's an Aquarius which wants to talk about it, wants to organize it, but has its own way of doing it. Anyone who knows Aquarians know that they are very intellectually self-centered. My way is not only the highway, it is the way, the truth, and the light.
SPEAKER_01And so we're woe-be-tide.
SPEAKER_00Woe-be-tide. There's a lot of woe-be-tide going on. And this means that you have to work twice as hard to listen to other people. It's very good. You see, Pluto brings up all this stuff, but then Pluto says, y'all work it out on your own. I'm just Pluto. I brought it up. I brought this bunch of crap and put it in front of you.
SPEAKER_01Put it on your plate.
SPEAKER_00Put it on your plate, and you take your fork and you separate the pieces and find out what works. And with a combination of the retrograde Mercury and the Pluto, we're all running between March and basically mid-April, stumbling one way or the other. And so all you can do is hang on and work very carefully to not go overboard with the truth or the lie. And try not to dig yourself too deep a hole because you're going to have to get yourself out of it, come me, as we get into main.
SPEAKER_01Attempt to attain the middle way.
SPEAKER_00Ah, there you are. Now, one little thing else dealing with lying is the importance of thumbs. Thumb, thumb, thumbs. You watch people on television and they'll have their hands. Even people who aren't hand gestures will be. You'll see their thumbs up. And if the thumb is pulling inward over the palm, you're holding something back. Okay. Now, we is if you're right-handed and your your right thumb is coming in, it's something that is immediately physically going on. You're you're you're lying or you're obfuscating something that is immediate and is going on in the vicinity. Okay. In real time. If you're and and then if the left one is in, what you're doing is you're you're you're basically saying, I can't tell them because if I told them I'll lose my job, uh, or I I I can't tell them because it's supposed to be a secret or something. There's an intellectual reason for it. And so if you see anyone, a politician, and the thumbs are moving inward, they're lying. They're lying. And if you're left-handed, it's exactly what I said in reverse. Okay. Because the left hand is the dominant one dealing with the physical stuff at the moment. And the right hand will be the recessive one, which deals with the intellectual stuff or the things that have not yet come into the into the purview of now. So not only look at the ties and the colors that these people are wearing, but look at their hands and see what their thumbs are doing. Yeah, there we go. There we go.
SPEAKER_01Now, before we go any further, last month we gave a plug to the top 25 metaphysical podcasts on the web. Yes, we did. And we would like to give them another plug. It's called, if you type in on your favorite search engine, top 25 metaphysical podcasts. You will find some interesting sites to begin to listen to if you choose to. Uh we happen to be on one of the top 25.
SPEAKER_00So uh if you obviously you found us without that, but you know, but hey, you find you find others and maybe sometimes we're even interested.
SPEAKER_01That's right. And so I will also post that in the physical uh podcast description for the month again, the actual uh website that you can go to. So I just wanted to mention that. Yes, and and thank them very much. That's right.
SPEAKER_00They've they've done done us some good some good turns there. Yes, they have. So we have told you some of the stones to use on liars or on yourself as liars and what to do what to do with your thumbs. Hidden thumb tricks. There we go. So until next time, we are Sandy from Gemological Esoterica and Linda Strochane of the Mercury Academy, and we are two dozy broads. No lying. Goodbye. Goodbye.
