Welcome, one and all, to our last podcast of 2025. And it seems like it's gone on forever. My God, this is the year that never ended. No kidding. We would like to thank the Don for producing our podcast for another year. And every month he asks the same question. Do you think you're ready?
SPEAKER_00It's so funny because we're sitting here yapping away, and he goes and he says, and we'll say, Okay, you can start taping. Yeah. Do you think you're ready? And that's not the question to ask us.
SPEAKER_01And we go, yeah, wait, go ahead. We also thank Gary for his quiet and unwavering support. And we thank Blaise for being well beautiful. Yes, she is. She is still beautiful. SPEAKER_00You betcha. Well, I would first of all, we'd really like to start out by thanking everybody. Uh we didn't get our yearly statistics, your year-end statistics yet. No. But we made over 5,000 downloads this year. That's miraculous. And we're really amazed because we don't know 5,000 people. Or one person 5,000 times.
SPEAKER_01Or one person who loves us times 5,000. Times 5,000.
SPEAKER_00This is not something that so we want to thank everybody. Yes, we do. Maybe next month we'll have our statistics and we can go through them so we can thank you. We can thank you from the countries you are in. Yes. And the cities that you are in. We would love to do that, but we're taping a little early this year. Yes, we are.
SPEAKER_01Because of the way the holidays fall. Also, it is winter in both Minnesota and Wisconsin. Yes. And we don't know when anybody's going to be able to get anywhere. So this is true. We made it over here today, though. You did. That proved that four-wheel drive is king. That's right. A big four-wheel drive. Four-wheel drive.
SPEAKER_00So anyway, I would like to start out by thanking everyone who has ever supported either of my metaphysical rock shops, Stones by Sandy or Gemological Esoterica. We started out as Stones by Sandy way back when, didn't have a clue as to what to call it. And when we moved into the new house 15 years ago, I had a dream at Gemological Esoterica. And ended up trademarking it. Yes. So it we've got the trademark on the name. That's kind of cool. You were in the vanguard. We were in the vanguard. After 30 years, Don and I have decided to close the shop and retire. Ah yeah. We would like to slow down a little bit. We'd like to do some traveling while we still have our health. We plan on going south this winter for a little while. And we are going to do a tour of the a cruise of the Great Lakes this summer. Oh, that'll be good. That'll be fun.
SPEAKER_01It's a good thing to do in the summer. It's not so much fun. It doesn't work much in the winter. It's not much fun if you're going to be able to do that.
SPEAKER_00If you've ever seen the Great Lakes in the winter, don't even bother.
SPEAKER_01No, you'd rather see them on a movie or something.
SPEAKER_00That's right, that's right. But this does not mean that the podcast is going away anytime soon. At least we hope not. We've made it for what's it been, producer? Eight or nine years? How many years? This is the 94th. The 94th episode, this particular one. So we've made it 94 episodes every month.
SPEAKER_01By gum. We have intrepid. They can't get rid of us. Of course, you haven't made all of them because you've been sick a couple of them. No, but I I had to be almost near death in order to have a good excuse. That's right. That's right.
SPEAKER_00So we are still having fun podcasting. We really are. And so expect to hear from us in the coming months and years. Uh, you will still hear the same type of I don't know, whatever it is we do.
SPEAKER_01Exactly. And there will be good ideas about stones, and there will be warning Will Robinson dealing with astrology and other things.
SPEAKER_00Even though I'm closing the rock shop, I will still be talking about rocks and stones. Because rocks and stones never sleep. No, they don't. And the shop, even though the rock shop is closing, uh, there still will be services I will be performing, like doing intuitive readings. And uh I do cremation hearts for the with the ashes of people and pets. I do that type of thing. That is so neat. Yeah, it's kind of they're kind of pretty. And what else what else do we do? I still well, I'm a gemologist and I'm still doing gemological services identifying gemstones for people. And Don is still selling his faceted stones.
SPEAKER_01Those are beautiful. Those are beautiful. He's been selling a lot of them lately.
SPEAKER_00So anyway, the the phone number will still remain good if you if you want to text or whatever. I would recommend texting over calling. Uh yeah, calling may not work, but texting would probably texting generally works out a little bit better. Yes, it does. So you were gonna say a few words about monthly astrology this month.
SPEAKER_01Yes, uh, another thing that doesn't sleep is so the is the stars in the heavens. Is the stars in the heavens, they never sleep. And this this year they have been uh slightly disarranged and chaotic. Askew. Askew, askew on the trill in the new year, they are going to be more askew and uh off and on slightly malignant. And so that's that's why I uh I keep an I keep an eye on those, a little, a little uh baleful eye, and I have a uh a monthly astrology heads-up report. Report. And if people are interested in subscribing, they can text me at that number. Yes, yes, and Sandy will redirect them to the proper the proper channel. If if you've if you use my number and I don't know and you don't leave a message, I very well might just delete and block you. So so leave a message so I know that you're not you're not trying to uh sell me some spam service or something like that.
SPEAKER_00And you've been doing for at least four or five years this monthly report. Yes. And it's a six-month subscription. Yes, it is. And it's only forty dollars for six months. You prepay, yes, and you get a monthly subscription. Generally, what this does is it goes from the middle of the month to the middle of the next month.
SPEAKER_01Yes, we we started it in a middle of a month. Yes. And uh it works out pretty well that way because you end up covering all the bases, or at least most of the bases, but you don't have to beleaguer it and and all of that. And this isn't going to capture everything, but it can give you a heads up. And if you know your chart, you can listen to these aspects because it's things like moon square Pluto or something like that. And I tell you what sign the moon is and what sign Pluto is in. So you can look at your chart and scream. And scream. This this next year there'll be a lot of that primal scream, the the uh sound of 2026. Uh it's basically Jack Nicholson and a few good men. You can't handle the truth, and that'll be applying to all of us. But no, I I do that and people seem to enjoy it. And if you would like to join in, you're more than welcome. And I'm also, while I do that, nobody has really asked, but I you can ask a question ahead of time. You know, would would what is what is this planet doing at this point in time? And I can zero in on certain things and make it a little specific, not completely specific because several people are listening and they they would get bored. But this is something that we're capable of doing.
SPEAKER_00And you also uh taught last month the astrological karma of the United States from the chart up starting January 1st of 2026.
SPEAKER_01Yes, and there there is karma coming down the pipe. Oh, yes, here it comes. And it isn't the sort of thing where one says, oh dear, this is absolutely terrible and everything's over. But it's nice to know when to get off the track. Yes.
SPEAKER_00And if you think the astrology is going to be weird, I I do fang shui. Yep. And between the two uh lead knickers would be a really good idea this coming year. It is, it's like a Rocky movie. Punch, punch. Yes, yes, that is kind of how it is. There we are. Yes.
SPEAKER_01So again, Rocky and Bullwinkle. There, yeah, more like Rocky and Bullwinkle. It is, and in Rocky and Bullwinkle, all sorts of people were were made into stupid people by goof gas. Yes. And you will find goof gas will be one of the predominant smells.
SPEAKER_00Clouds of it.
SPEAKER_01Clouds of it in the new year.
SPEAKER_00But we do, we really want to we want to give our thanks to everyone who listens to us. Yes. We really don't know why, but you do listen to us. We're grateful. We are grateful, yes. We are grateful. We're old women, we're amazed anyone listens to us. And then anybody listens to us. Well, and the thing is, is that we're gonna stay free. We're not gonna, we're not gonna monetize, we're not going to do anything like that. We're just doing this for the sheer enjoyment of listening to ourselves yap once a month.
