God is the father to the fatherless. God is the father to the fatherless. He will love God and protect you. God is the father to the father.
SPEAKER_01This is Scott with Mentor Me Ministries, mentoring fatherless boys for Jesus Christ. We have a great show for you today, and here is our founder and president, Bobby Solomon.
SPEAKER_02Hi friends, hi fatherless boys. This is Bobby Solomon. How are you doing this weekend? I really hope and pray you're having a great weekend in the name and power of Jesus Christ. A reading from John chapter 14, verse 27. And Jesus is speaking. I do not give it to you as the world does. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid. That's what he spoke to his disciples. Don't let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid. Jesus gives us peace from God. Fatherless boys, do you have a five dollar bill? Take the $5 bill out of your wallet and look at it. And what does it say on the front? Does it say $5? I'm looking at one, it says five dollars. What does it say on the back? It says in God we trust. That's what it says. I'm looking at my $5 bill. In God We Trust, it says on the back. It says on the front, the United States of America, $5. And then it has a picture of a president. Which president is on the $5 bill? That's correct. It's President Abraham Lincoln. He had one of the most tumultuous, that means it was like a whirlwind, water churning hard like in the ocean, where there's no peace in his term as president. Tumultuous. No peace, lots of chaos, like a roller coaster ride that never stops. Violent. It's tumultuous. The country fighting against itself. But guess what happened? President Lincoln endured, and the war was over. It was won. Then President Lincoln and the country was finally able to get some rest and build upon that peace. It took a long time, but it endured. And many people might say right now that the country isn't at peace. But let's read again what Jesus said to his disciples. John 1427. Jesus speaking to his disciples. I leave my peace with you. I give my peace to you. I do not give it to you as the world does. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid. Fatherless boys and those of you raising fatherless boys, those of you mentoring fatherless boys, please help them to trust in the Lord God, even though their lives may be tumultuous and chaotic, that God can give them peace. He can calm the storms, and we just must persevere, like President Lincoln did and the country did, to finally give up their arms and quit fighting. Let's have peace with one another. Let's have peace with God. And fatherless boys, I pray, from all your trouble, you will have peace in your heart and know that Jesus loves you and God is a good and holy father. Now we'd like to have a word from Johnny Blueheart. He's our puppet friend. He's a puppet horse. Johnny, how are you?
SPEAKER_03I'm doing great, Bobby. I I have Jesus in my heart. I have peace. Hey Bobby, did you ever think about it? That God, through his giving, gave us peace.
SPEAKER_02He gave us peace through his giving. Oh, you mean by giving us his only son?
SPEAKER_03Yes, he gave his only son, Jesus. And Jesus is the Prince of Peace. Through God's giving, we have peace. Father was boys have peace in Jesus today. Let him even out your lives for you so you can live a life with God and not have all the chaos and the violence and things. Let him give you peace in your lives.
