About the Festival:
The Faustian Book Festival is the Kenyan launch and serialized discussion of the latest book by Edwin Bikundo – “The Faustian Pact in International Law: Discussing Literature, Jurisprudence, and Giorgio Agamben’s Critical Theory”.
The Festival allows international law students, scholars and practitioners as well as interested readers an unprecedented opportunity for deep engagement with the author on the themes, purpose, and lessons from his work.
For 7 weeks between 22nd February and 12th April, author Edwin Bikundo will make himself available week-to-week for personal engagement and interactions with his community of readers on the HiA Network.
Each session will be held at:
2:00 – 3:30 AM EST / 7:00 – 8:30 AM GMT / 10:00 – 11:30 AM EAT / 17:00 – 18:30 PM AUST
About the Author:
Edwin Bikundo is a Senior Lecturer at the Griffith Law School, Griffith University, Australia. Edwin’s current teaching and research interests lie in International and Comparative Law, Legal Theory, and Law and the Humanities.
Before joining Griffith University he was a doctoral student and then Postgraduate Fellow affiliated to the Julius Stone Institute of Jurisprudence, the Sydney Centre for International Law and the Sydney Institute of Criminology at the Sydney University Law School.
He is a Co-Managing Editor of the Griffith Law Review, Co- Editor of the Routledge Law Book Series: TechNomos: Law, Technology, Culture.
