10 minutes of science is a new podcast series from The Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Ophthalmologists Women in Ophthalmology. Each edition features an expert in their field discussing an article of their choosing. These articles have been selected due to their impact on the real-world practice of ophthalmology. The series is aimed at the general comprehensive ophthalmologists and includes topics across a range of subspecialties. Susan Carden is an Associate Professor in the Department of Pediatrics, University of Melbourne. She is a Consultant Ophthalmologist RCH and is head of the Education Vision Assessment Unit, RVEEH. She currently chairs the Victorian Branch, RANZCO. Her areas of
expertise includes retinopathy of prematurity, Low Vision, paediatric ophthalmology and general ophthalmology and international development.
