Timothy (DM):This is the discretion we're talking about. Sister, she's waking, but Chris ruined the moment. Oh, I'm sorry, ozymander was cut short in his dialogue when Ark and Trixie, trixie, gladys, kicked off the season with clasped hands and a twisted smile. Oh, why would she be smiling? Tsk, tsk, tsk. Four black holes and a golden sphere. Oh, my Shadowy wings, a great sword horns and ripply abs. Backflips, a round-off. They raise two fists wearing the garbs of a monk Howl and a flash of a cape. Bonus action hide. The four alternative timeline party members entered the arena and Gladys watches, watches. Ren searched for his elusive self. Salvador, called lightning on his doppled chad, while yancey began to fire off shots of eldritch blasts, learning that their counterpart can deflect projectiles, uppery summoned tentacles from the ground and entered a brawl with Wolfrey. Salvador's horde of hunks split off to aid the individual fights and Slad the Slad jumped to Yonce's defense.
Timothy (DM):It's Slad the.
Dan (Wren):Slad, I refuse for you to do this to our falling's defense.
Russell (Upri):It's lad to slad, I refuse for you to do this to our falling comrade.
Kai (Yonce):I'm sure they'll be, back.
Russell (Upri):Yeah, they will. They will be back.
Timothy (DM):Shadow. Ren slipped from the darkness and charged at Ren, and the two entered a parlay of swords. Monk Bay closed the distance and put pressure on Yonce. Wilfrey summoned her pack and Uppery fought off a dog pile with her arcane backlash. Salvador commanded the menzies across the board and shot bolt after bolt of lightning. Wren melded form with himself and sicked Balenciaga on the shadow.
Chris (Salvador):Oh yeah.
Timothy (DM):The gaggle of Guy sliced Monk Bay in half, right in front of our dear Yonce Trauma. Ren stabbed his alternative self in the face. Yes, and Salvador's double had the protection of their god to save them from death, but only once. Yeah. Yancey picked off wolves from the sidelines, upry summoned thorny briars and chatted, or called down fire from the sky as the party slowly whittled down the pack, leaving Uprie at death's door, just as Wolfrey was slain. Then the wizard finale began. Gladys fired off a slew of control spells, banishing Wren, trapping Uprie and stunning Salvador, all while winning our hearts. My favorite part Ren leveled up his corruption. Yay For the first time in a while.
Timothy (DM):But now he has some cool Time Witch powers. I do Counterspell, counters do Counterspell, counterspell. Counterspell Fuck you Prismatic spray Clear the room, but not really, because the berserkers are apparently very beefy and those beefy boys forced her to cast shield using her reaction and Yonce was able to take advantage of this glorious opportunity to transcend into an eldritch being and blast her with a beam of force shot from his mouth. Can't counter spell. Now bitch.
Kai (Yonce):We stand over Gladys's dead body. I doubt it. Which person? I just doubt it.
Dan (Wren):I doubt she's actually dead it wasn't a non-lethal I spent that whole fight just in another realm and I had to watch oh right well I walk over to her body and be like wake up, we know you're not dead fucking time witch get up, wait, there's an audience and I look at the audience being like we did it yay.
Timothy (DM):So the audience sits in a moment of silence waiting for the fight to continue. But as you all stand in the middle of the arena, the dust settles. The energy sinks, the energy sinks. And then the audience swells into a massive cheer. They are hooting and hollering For you have just won. You beat Gladys the Time Witch.
Chris (Salvador):Opry's gonna flex, but then blood starts gushing from her side. She's like ugh and holds herself.
Kai (Yonce):I'll gather everybody in the middle and we'll do like a we're all say, like we're standing in like a circle, but we're all facing out, you know, like they do. And then the camera pans around all of us as we like. Like, we will rock you. Super Bowl commercial with Beyonce Pink and Britney Spears.
Russell (Upri):Yeah, got it, I'm Beyonce.
Dan (Wren):And I'm waving my hands up being like false light false life.
Timothy (DM):Woo, yay, woo. Being a crowd of people is really hard y'all. Yeah, pretend this isn't a crowd. Oh my god.
Russell (Upri):That Beyonce person was so hot and then a booming voice echoes across the arena.
Timothy (DM):We have our champions.
Dan (Wren):And we'll be undefeated because we retire.
Kai (Yonce):The Blue Barracuda.
Russell (Upri):We did do that, yeah, we chose that name.
Timothy (DM):And as the audience just swells with cheers, you see a crew of clerics run across the arena to the monochromatic, like tinfoil but flowy, floats down from the announcer box and lands in the middle of the four of you extending a hand to shake yours.
Chris (Salvador):I reach out and vomit blood on it.
Timothy (DM):He flicks his wrist and prestigitations the blood off of his clothing.
Chris (Salvador):Cool, I'll shake it with my bloody hand.
Timothy (DM):He puts a hand on Yonce's back and raises the other to the crowd as another swell of cheers rises.
Dan (Wren):Yeah, I did it yeah.
Timothy (DM):And then he turns to the four of you and goes, make your rounds and then exit over there, pointing to a archway that you had previously seen Gladys escorted out of. We'll be able to give you your prize money then.
Kai (Yonce):I'll patch up really quick. I'll just do it quick. I'm just going to wrap around. Stop the blood, give me a bandaid, you get eight.
Chris (Salvador):Perfect, I'm up to 20.
Kai (Yonce):I'll take it.
Timothy (DM):He snaps his fingers and blips out.

He motions off down the hallway uh, where you can see a treasury at the end collect treasure this man on the cape?
Kai (Yonce):have we seen him before?
Timothy (DM):no, no, this is the first time you've met him. You might have seen him on posters for the um event. But just as like uh not not like the major uh player just as like the person standing in the announcer box gotcha, he's really just the announcer, he's the coordinator of the event. And so he escorts you down the hallway to the treasury and then he turns to the four of you, looks at Salvador and goes where should we take all of this? Oh, by this you mean and he signals to the treasury room, which is full of gold and chests. What?
Kai (Yonce):Is this a lot? This is a lot of money. Can I do like a quick? Can I stick my head in the treasury room and do like a quick count?
Timothy (DM):Yeah, it's 20,000 gold. Oh very nice, it's's 20,000 gold. Oh very nice, it's approximately 20,000 gold in my guesstimations.
Kai (Yonce):Is that like?
Chris (Salvador):rent money before you met us. Rent money, or that's probably like more money. It's like more than.
Kai (Yonce):I had before that, I would probably say way more yeah significantly more. I probably capped out around five or six thousand with my when I had my like bag stuff oh like the uh I guess for a good, for a good estimate twenty thousand gold for my business. We probably earn that as like profits, not necessarily just like day to day, probably in like five years worth of time but yeah, we should probably send this a lotaphne.
Kai (Yonce):It's a lot of money.
Chris (Salvador):Sorry, the accountant in me wants to look at your books, that's not good.

Dan (Wren):So that means we each get $5,000. Well, since I did the final blow, I should get $6,000.
Kai (Yonce):Let's just send it all to. Daphne, we can figure out the divisions later um, yeah, uh, I guess send this to daphne's house. Yeah, it's our resident. You don't have like a bag of holding. You can put it in. Just wondering, was there a bank?

Timothy (DM):So you see that there's a couple attendants in the hallway. He just kind of like does a little round up with his finger sort of motion and they all pull out these silver bags that match his outfit, out these silver bags that match his outfit and they enter the treasury to start filling up those bags with the gold.
Chris (Salvador):Jan can just hold my portion. Not good with money.
Dan (Wren):I'm kidding, I'll make sure it's safe.
Timothy (DM):All right, eventually they finish. It doesn't take them that long. There's a couple attendants and they hand off your winnings. Um, they then escort you to a room of reporters and, like they start just kind of carting you around because you are now the champions, which is the first time this happened in many years. So there's like reporters that sit you down for interviews. There are people who take your photos. It becomes a long day, not one that you had signed up for, yeah, but one that you were rewarded, one that you deserve well, yes, great and eventually things do die down and you're let out of the arena.
Timothy (DM):But at this point everybody in town knows your faces. You have just accomplished something that wizards and combatants have been attempting to do for decades.
Kai (Yonce):It's probably because we weren't wizards.
Chris (Salvador):It's probably why we won.
Kai (Yonce):That I mean, I cast a spell it doesn't make you a wizard you don't know that I can summon, I can summon a floating shield does not make me a wizard yeah, but it's like an item hey well, yeah, I guess that was the effect we wanted to get people to know us yeah, that's true.
Chris (Salvador):We are popular now, excellent can I just walk around with Amber on my shoulder the whole day? That's what I'm naming my Amber greatsword.
Timothy (DM):Amber creative alright you can. But as you're exiting the arena you see there's these rows of pillars and marble benches and at the very end you see Gladys sitting in her little hoop skirt, hands folded, just looking out across the city my grip tightens on my sword hey I was gonna say aren't you like, you're like dating her son?
Kai (Yonce):no, the whole point was to not date her son oh, right, right, right who's her son? It's uh.
Russell (Upri):Desmond, I forgot his name.

Timothy (DM):Totally end this timeline at least.

It seems like no one's been, no one's been able to actually kill the titans, because if if we killed them, like actually gat gat killed them um, does that mean that we don't have to restart the cycle?

Chris (Salvador):my understanding is the titans are part of arcanist, so if we kill them they just go back to her, but then they slowly regenerate as she slowly wakes up again it's more so.

Timothy (DM):Well, my understanding is that, before Freya before them, several back the wizards that existed at that time had actually cracked the code for time travel and traveling between realities, and that was their machine to do so. However, that did attract the attention and wake up the Titans and set them on their path towards destruction. In the end, they ultimately decided to forget and reset the cycle.

As you approach the estate, you see that it has a large courtyard in the front with these intricate fountains, and it has that C shape where the entrance is set between two wings that come out on either side. It is a white stone. Yep, it is a white stone, only a single story high, but with vaulted ceilings.
Dan (Wren):So it's not a flat.
Timothy (DM):Glass windows that you can see, stained glass windows that you can see as you approach. The wing to the right, the glass is white and the wing to the left, the glass is blue. You pull up in the center of the courtyard between orange and green. Guests are arriving one by one and as you arrive you see Percival standing on the front steps awaiting your entrance.
Dan (Wren):So I walk down the carriage and Go ahead. Oh, were you saying something?
Timothy (DM):No.
Dan (Wren):Okay, sorry, I just heard. Okay, never mind, maybe that's just me. Anyways, I forgot to mention in my outfit. So it's essentially like my jumpsuit, but just more beautiful and sparkly, and the chest is covered with, like you can still see, like my chesticle area, but it's covered in a mesh fabric so you can see it. But it's classy and I'm going to walk and I'm just going to say wow, thank you for the carriage. I've never been kind of pampered in this way, thank you.
Timothy (DM):You see that he is adorned in a white suit with tailcoat and a teal trim with a teal pocket square. He has golden jewels all around the lapel of the jacket and on each of his fingers. All around the lapel of the jacket and on each of his fingers, he holds out a hand to you.
Dan (Wren):I give them my hand and he bows to kiss it you look ravishing, my dear, my dear. Wow, we're really. Let's slow it down. It's not like one of us tried to kiss the other earlier and I just start to blush.

Timothy (DM):Yeah. As the attendants push open the double doors into the entrance hall, you can hear the sound of violins coming from the right and a flute quartet to the left. The guests have been mingling as you see them filtering in either direction towards the various rooms. The entrance hall has elegant, lush carpets leading off into either direction and gorgeous, almost glass-like flowers in large pots stationed around the room, interspersed with golden candelabras Coming from doors. Right across from the entrance hall you can see a sliver of red light, and Percival will guide you towards the right.
Timothy (DM):Two more attendants open another set of double doors for you. As the swelling of the string octet rings in your ears, you see ballroom gowns, suits and extravagant headpieces and masks, and extravagant headpieces and masks as guests enjoy a plethora of hors d'oeuvres and drink around small high-top tables that have been set around this octet. He continues to guide you down the hall further towards the end of the wing and when the doors are opened, you enter into a bright white room, the white stained glass shining a clear the white stained glass shining a clear, almost sterile light on the room.
Dan (Wren):It's bright in here. Wow, it's bright.
Timothy (DM):Ah, yes, it is. You get used to it after a while. Plus, it makes the jewels on your dress so ravishing.

Dan (Wren):What is this room called?
Chris (Salvador):This is the room of pride.
Timothy (DM):The loony bin sorry as your eyes begin to adjust to the light in the room, you notice that it is an empty room. Less stately statues around the perimeter and two chairs Not chairs thrones beneath the stained glass facing an open white tiled room. He takes you over to the thrones and places you in the one just to the right of center.
Dan (Wren):I don't feel like I should be sitting in this. I don't mind standing. Oh, dear you belong here Stop, oh my god.
Timothy (DM):Entertainment is about to begin and he takes a seat as from the shadows of this room you had not seen them previously two men in a white fencing outfit appear in the center of the room and begin to spar.
Dan (Wren):Wow, that's aggressive.
Timothy (DM):Have you ever been to a fencing tourney before?
Dan (Wren):No, but I did go to this one event where there was a lot of candy bacon, but then my sister was sacrificed, so this is so much better than that.
Timothy (DM):Interesting People in the outside world always tend to fascinate me with their colorful lives.
Dan (Wren):Well, I am very colorful. I mean, look at me. All of this just for us right now. This feels very extravagant, like what about the rest of the guests?
Timothy (DM):they're off doing their own thing. Each of these rooms is made for a different sort of person. The entertainment that we seek.
Dan (Wren):So what's your sort? What is your sort?
Timothy (DM):And he waves towards the center of the room. I like to bet on these games and it's made me lots and lots of money.
Dan (Wren):So you're a betting man, dragon born.
Timothy (DM):Precisely. It's a bit of a vice, but one that I have plenty of resources to maintain.
Dan (Wren):Wow, I've never been around someone with so much resources to extend to expend. Um, how did you earn all this money?
Timothy (DM):let's not put up a false facade that I earned anything.
Dan (Wren):Okay, good, I know you. This is wealth, this is inherited wealth. Well, you're pretty fortunate to be born into these circumstances. Some of us aren't so lucky. But, and you see, yonce, kind of just put their head down for a little bit. But enough about that. Um, what made you want to ask me out to this masquerade ball? You barely even know me.
Timothy (DM):He goes to speak and then pauses for a moment. You know you're the first person who'd ever approached me with such disregard.
Dan (Wren):Yeah, you'll find that I don't really care about too many people.
Timothy (DM):I found it intriguing. I needed to learn more. What makes you tick?
Dan (Wren):Wow, we're going straight into traumas. All right, I think what makes me tick is and my attention is being divided from Percival and the fencers and I'm like what makes me tick it's people who don't care for other people or people who are selfish in how they live life. I grew up with a big family, an adopted family, so I just grew up caring for other people, so seeing people be so selfish is very it hurts, because we're in this world together. We are one people, quite literally, as we found out and yeah, that makes me tick.
Timothy (DM):Intriguing.
Dan (Wren):Would you consider yourself a selfish person or selfless?
Timothy (DM):I think the answer to your question is quite obvious it wouldn't be so obvious without asking. I'm not going to try to fool anybody. I bet on these to expand my wealth, to hold more and more. It is just a mere token of my power, a symbol. That is what money is to me, that is what games are to me. I'm not going to try to fool you into anything else but what if you could help people? People can't help themselves.
Dan (Wren):I don't believe that with someone of your vast wealth and resources you can clearly bet on, you can clearly help other people and it's still an investment on you.
Timothy (DM):Yes, should I want to, I can. I can invest in whatever flits my fancy Tonight. That was you.
Dan (Wren):Am I a whore?
Russell (Upri):Yes, I'll take it.
Dan (Wren):Wow, yeah, wow I.
Russell (Upri):Yeah.
Dan (Wren):Wow, I'm stunned. They were too stunned to speak.
Timothy (DM):You may enjoy this evening as much as you'd like. I will not hold any of this against you.
Dan (Wren):I start watching the fencers and I put my, I put my hand on their hand and when.
Chris (Salvador):I did, we did sorry.
Timothy (DM):I was thinking about that that is when we are going to travel to Ren.
Dan (Wren):I'm gonna get this bitch.
Kai (Yonce):So Ren will probably, with Uppery, fly in. I'd like to think, oh gosh, yes, Land mid-walkway.
Chris (Salvador):Yeah, we're going to carry Sel in between us.
Kai (Yonce):I'm hooked by the arms, yeah, yeah and we'll try and gracefully land you on the ground.
Chris (Salvador):You ever done a? Bear roll before. Wah, we'll try and gracefully land you on the ground. You ever done a bear roll before.
Kai (Yonce):Whoa, yeah, so Ren is wearing a I guess what one would call a Three Musketeers outfit. He's got the big lopsided hat where one side is perched up onto the cap of the hat and a large feather um, all green is wearing all green, like a very like dark foresty green. Um, and yeah, it's very like fitted suit with tails that like almost grace the floor. It's almost like a waist Cape rather than like tails, um, and just like you know, know, very fitted suit in that regard are you wearing a boutonniere?
Kai (Yonce):hell, yeah, yes, and there's a lot of feather. It's bird themed, yeah, because you know birds, it's a renzel thing. Um, and so his mask is a golden like, almost like a plague mask, with a large beak on it. I forgot I was supposed to be wearing a mask.
Timothy (DM):That's okay, you don't need to. It's kind of like wearing red to a white party in this situation. It's a move, it's a vibe.
Kai (Yonce):Okay, and yeah, we'll land. And I guess go try and figure out where my target is, like what room I should be going to, okay, um, I uh, oh, yeah, we discussed that we wanted to switch targets, so I will now be taking on lady gold, golden shade, because it's just spying, is more in my wheelhouse, and Uppery will be going for Duke Ironheart because bonking is more in your wheelhouse.
Dan (Wren):Can we retcon that you hive mind us all together since we're close together.
Kai (Yonce):Oh, absolutely, yeah, I can absolutely hive mind us now that we're in the same vicinity.
Russell (Upri):What would?
Kai (Yonce):you like me to do to figure out where people are. Honestly, I want to find out where everybody is so I can point people in the right direction.
Timothy (DM):So you can spend as you're like. They introduce you at the front door. The attendants open the doors to you. They call out your names. They called out your names as well when you entered, but I think the two of you were so involved in each other in that moment. Um, but they call out your name, announce you to the estate um and champions.
Timothy (DM):Yeah, you can um mill about pretty quickly to to get a lay of the land. I mean you can. I mean you would have known that the like uh, yeah, anyways, uh, so you're able to like go down each hallway, peek in doors, that well, the attendants open the doors as you come by to be like, do you want into this room? Um, and you can do your little pass-by inspection and the. As you pass by the green room, you notice a woman matching the description of Lady Harland, golden shade, sitting at a desk in a room bathed in green um, did I find out where countess dreamweaver and duke ironheart are?
Timothy (DM):I haven't, I imagine I know where duke ironheart is, yeah so I guess you, as you peek in each of the rooms, you find Duke Thrain Ironheart in the red room around a war table Yep makes sense. And then you find Countess Isolde, dreamweaver, across the hall from the green room, in the lilac-colored room.
Kai (Yonce):The sound of a harpist can be heard.
Timothy (DM):She lays on a sofa.
Kai (Yonce):Asleep. Probably I will send. Well, I will just point everyone in their respective directions and I will enter the green room and I would like I would. I'm going to signal to the attendant who is opening the door to announce me.
Timothy (DM):Okay. So yeah, that's something that y'all can always do here is that you can have them announce you anytime you enter a room and I totally have a mic, all right, cool. So you enter the room in green and as you do so, you notice off to the left is a set of desks surrounded by a library of heavy tomes, heavy tones. Across the room is a stately desk in which Lady Harland Golden Shade sits and another noble sits across from her in a smaller chair giving her a business proposal that you can overhear. There is a small waiting area where a couple other nobles' attendants sit accountants and the like preparing proposals.
Chris (Salvador):Cool Um.
Kai (Yonce):Trying to see if I got any fun stuff that I could pull out. Um, I will. I will wait in line.
Russell (Upri):All right.
Timothy (DM):So you sit down with the other folk waiting for their turn. So as you wait, is there anything you'd like to do?
Kai (Yonce):No, oh, I'll listen. I will like hear what everybody's saying. I can read lips, so I can just like hear what's going on across the room.
Timothy (DM):So as, since she would be facing you throughout this time, you get a sense that she is very direct with her line of questioning and everything kind of ties back to the bottom line. She and everything kind of ties back to the bottom line. She dissects proposal after proposal, determining whether or not they are truly worth her investment, before each person is whisked away or waved away. But as you wait, let's go pay Salvador a visit.
Kai (Yonce):So Salvador is dressed in a blue-gray suit. He's wearing his half-cloak from NIMH, his displacer cloak. But he went to one of those magical clothing enchanters, so he has enchanted this suit to make the soft sound of rain falling whenever he wants to activate it. So he walks in, he meanders around looking for where he'd expect Izzle to be in and, given that she's a dreamy type person, it'd be either the blue room or the lilac room. So he wanders over, he asks the announcer to say can you announce that I'm Salvador Salt Rose? And he walks in and he tries to find a lady that matches his old description.
Timothy (DM):All right. So as the announcer announces your name, he kind of whispers it to the room. Well, he takes a set of hand chimes and just brushes the back of his nails against it. You hear the sound of a harp plucking just lackadaisically. The pungent aroma of incense fills your lungs Lavender, rosemaryemary and musk. The room is warm, it's bathed in a lilac light and almost every surface is covered with something soft Nobles in silken, loose clothing Lounge about the room imbibing on smokes and drinks and a board of cheeses.
Kai (Yonce):Oh my goodness.
Timothy (DM):A platter of fruit can be found in the center of the room on a squat wooden table, and pillows are laid out around it. Countess's old dream weaver lounges in a chaise along the back right corner near a large floral arrangement.
Kai (Yonce):Oh, I love a good floral arrangement. I am going to walk over to one of the fruit trays, I'm going to casually grab a cluster of grapes, I'm going to stroll over to his old and I'm going to delicately sit on the end of the chaise and I'm going to say, can I tempt you? And I'm going to hold out the grapes.
Timothy (DM):She bats her eyes at you, this elven woman, and slowly extends a hand towards you and plucks a grape from your palm, places it in her mouth and slowly closes her lips around it, beginning to chew. She takes a breath and smiles. You look uncomfortable, dear.
Kai (Yonce):It's a new suit.
Timothy (DM):The youth these days and their need to impress is unnecessary, my dear, and their need to impress Unnecessary, my dear. Make yourself comfortable. And she motions to a room divider with an armoire behind it.
Kai (Yonce):I stand up, I walk to the armoire. Is there anything in there?
Timothy (DM):Oh yeah, you open it and there are just like tons of like little frilly silken robes with like embroidery Nice. There's silk shirts and pants sets.
Chris (Salvador):Oh, everyone in this room is high on ecstasy.
Kai (Yonce):I get it.
Chris (Salvador):I understand now.
Kai (Yonce):Interesting. These are clothes that people have put. These are clothes that everybody can take, or these are clothes that people have taken off and put here.
Russell (Upri):Poor Kano's dough.
Timothy (DM):Seems like everybody is wearing clothes in the room of similar fashion. Okay, either they arrived in something already ready to be comfortable or they selected something off the rack.
Kai (Yonce):Okay.
Timothy (DM):You see another armoire to the right of it where, like a, just like a little sleeve of a jacket can be seen hanging out.
Kai (Yonce):Okay, I'm wearing like one of those domino masks. It's just like the bandit masks. I'm going to slip out of my suit. I'm going to pick out one of the Soken shirts and something that looks comfortable. I keep my half cloak, though, and I'm wearing my armor underneath it, but it is very. It's a mix, it's a fashion statement. Soken pajamas on top of armor.
Kai (Yonce):It's a fashion statement Silk and pajamas on top of armor it's Mithril armor, so it's flexible Gotcha.
Kai (Yonce):I'll put the suit in there. It's still making the sound of rain, but it's nice ambiance for whoever comes over here.
Timothy (DM):So, as Salvador disrobes, that is where we're going to end this episode.
Chris (Salvador):We'll get to your description next week. I'll totally remember.
Dan (Wren):You're like leaves. Where am I?
