Dan (Wren):

Today, we have Hi, I'm Dan, the mostly human scholar and rogue and upraised wingman Ren.

Kai (Yonce):

It was even worse the second time. Shut the fuck up, Get ready for this then Hi, I'm Chris.

Chris (Salvador):

I'm playing the tiefling cleric who is masked for masquerade Salad or Salt Rose.

Timothy (DM):

Oh, it's even more cringe. Yeah.

Kai (Yonce):

And I'm Kai. Okay, go ahead.

Russell (Upri):

I'm Russell playing Uprie the half-orc barbarian. The badass babe with a masquerade.

Kai (Yonce):

And I'm Kai and I'm playing the half-elf warlock Yonce Bay, who second verse same as the first. The best part of waking up is coffee in my gullet, not a sponsor.

Chris (Salvador):

That's what you get.

Kai (Yonce):

That's your rock throw.

Russell (Upri):

This is karma, baby, it is karma.

Kai (Yonce):

It's karma, karma's a bitch, and I should have known better. Uh, jojo Siwa, karma's a bitch, and I should have known better. Uh, jojo Siwa.

Timothy (DM):

As we emerge ourselves in the shadows of prophecy be warned for. This tale explores the darkest corners of the human soul and psyche, where the line between good and evil is blurred and unspeakable horrors linger in every shadow. Our story is not for the faint of heart, for it will not only bring us to mysterious lands, but have us walk down treacherous paths with unforeseen dangers, as our heroes, who are not always virtuous, confront villains who are not always wicked. As the prophecy unfolds and the fate of the world hangs in the balance, only one thing is for certain Nothing is as it seems. So stay sharp, ready yourselves, and we just may make it through this together as our heroes continue to pull back the veil.

Timothy (DM):

Shadows of Prophecy is a Dungeons Dragons actual playcast with violent themes and adult language. Listener discretion is advised. Join us today as we enter the Shadows of Prophecy, act 3, the Brink of Nothingness, chapter 16, rumblings of Change. Previously on Shadows of Prophecy, victory. Take that, you dumb witch. 20,000 gold definitely totally fills a treasury room, don't you dare question my logic? Gladys intercepted the party after her recovery and returned them all to Daphne's for a little chat. Did you know that the world is ending? What is your plan for the end of the world. Is there a protocol for this? It's worse every time I do this.

Kai (Yonce):

You got really British for some reason.

Timothy (DM):

To further complicate all of this, we learned that the primordials Ozymander, arcanus, eloria, razorath, solaris and Maligna, of which creation all of what we know as reality, is of Arcanus, and she is waking up. The more consciousness becomes aware of itself, the further it awakens. We have four options. Listen closely. One we reset the cycle. Everyone forgets and 1,000 years from now, another set of heroes has the same decision to make. Two we allow Arcanists to awaken and we all return to the singularity of creation. How fun. Three we kill the Titans and delay the confrontation with truth until some other alternative can be discovered. Or Four we dig into why Ozymander is trying to wake his sister and attempt to reason with a primordial being. Each option is a logistical nightmare. Good luck. Getting back to more important things, we wrapped up the remaining days leading to the masquerade by One buying a Ouija board, contacting the director to attempt to make an appointment with a primordial being, investigating our potential business partners and winning yet another competition with flying colors. Bravo, yonce.

Kai (Yonce):

Thank you, I'm talented.

Timothy (DM):

And we also caught the eye of a handsome suitor, the Marquis of Dragon Hall, Percival Gildedclaw.

Kai (Yonce):

What can I say? I know how to goon the dolls. Oh, I know.

Timothy (DM):

I should see myself dolls oh.

Kai (Yonce):

I know I should see myself out. Goodbye, I'm kidding, I won't do that.

Timothy (DM):

Salvador struck a deal with a local guild. The battle mages read pawns can be hired for 1,000 gold per person per week. And then the mask ball began. Finally, yonce arrived via a golden chariot, courtesy of their date, and joined them on their throne to watch a fencing duel. It quickly became apparent that their motives may be misaligned, but nuance allowed for a pleasant optics experience. Should Yonce decide to pursue further partnership in the White Room, the other plebeians arrived via foot and flight.

Timothy (DM):

Lady of Lower Dorfir, Harland Goldenshade, sits in the green room making business deals. Wren waits her counsel. Countess of Neither Incarppalune, easeled Dreamweaver, lays in a low chaise in the lilac room. Salvador disrobes to make her acquaintance. Duke of Dulgar in Galadia, thrain Ironheart stands around a war table moving pawns. Uprie prepares herself to enter the Red Room In death's embrace. Our forms decay, a fate we can't but pray, keep, bay For. In the end we return to dust, to mingle with the earth. At trust. In memory's grasp we strive to cling, as time's relentless march does sting for even memory. A fleeting spark shall fade into the endless dark, leaving naught but a silent sigh in the vast expanse of eternity's lie.

Russell (Upri):

Yeah, maybe we don't try to reason with that. Yeah, Marky would have something to say about the rhyming in that poem. I didn't realize he was a poet.

Timothy (DM):

Dr Seuss, the heavy war alright, uprabe, we have not gotten to your arrival yet in our last session, so I'd like to start with that. Um, would you like to describe how you arrived to the masquerade ball?

Russell (Upri):

well, step one I land. Yeah, I'm probably out of breath trying to keep up with a friend who can move 20 feet faster than me, uh, but yeah, but then I probably just like walk in. I feel like, uh, I've grown a like a wooden mask over my eyes that then just kind of trails upward into like antler years, and then I have my hair down and kind of like off to the side and there's like a bunch of um leaves in it orange, reds and yellows, it's a whole like fall look. And then I'm wearing kind of like a, like a wooden, like armor uh set, but it's just like a breastplate and then like, uh, the, the 12 pack is out, um, and then the dress kind of is a bunch of leaves that just grows to the side like asymmetrically. So it's kind of like I'm going for like Melania from Elden Ring vibes, but with fall leaves.

Timothy (DM):

She's autumnal.

Russell (Upri):

I want to look like a pagan goddess who's also a whore, oh.

Timothy (DM):

Yeah, well, check, and who's also a whore.

Kai (Yonce):

Check and check.

Timothy (DM):

Pagan, whore, pagan, what Whoa.

Russell (Upri):

Those two words together, without goddess, have some weird connotations. Just putting that out there.

Timothy (DM):

Pagan goddess tree whore.

Russell (Upri):

Thank you.

Russell (Upri):

There we go.

Timothy (DM):

Put some respect between those words. Thank you, alright. Go Put some respect between those words. Thank you, all right. So as you arrive, you are greeted by the door attendants. You are able to show them your invitation, as they look at you slightly confused, until they recognize you behind the transformation.

Russell (Upri):

Also I'm wearing heels, so I'm nine feet, but it's like a giraffe that's just been born. They look up at you and you're like who?

Chris (Salvador):

the fuck is this?

Timothy (DM):

And then they see your eyes behind the mask and they recognize you from the oh yeah, I forgot eye slits. You forgot, do you?

Chris (Salvador):

just have a bag on here.

Russell (Upri):

No, I can see I don't think you need to describe the eye slits in your mask. Yeah, that makes sense in order for them. In my mind I was no eyes. It's so cool. Anyway, continue.

Timothy (DM):

All right. And then they open the doors and you arrive into the entrance hall, where you as well can hear the sound of a string quartet off to your right and a flute octet off to your left.

Russell (Upri):

All right, what do I need to roll to get up those stairs?

Timothy (DM):

Oh, because you're not used to walking in heels. This is the first time, I'm pretty sure.

Dan (Wren):

Ever, yeah, we didn't practice over the past couple weeks.

Russell (Upri):

Aubrey's been barefoot the entire time you've known her.

Timothy (DM):

Yeah, give me a performance check.

Dan (Wren):

I feel like Ren could have given lessons. Ren or Yonce could have given lessons.

Kai (Yonce):

I don't think I wear shoes either.

Dan (Wren):

Maybe just.

Timothy (DM):

Ren A ten, a ten, alright.

Russell (Upri):

Yeah, you're like.

Timothy (DM):

Gosh, you're a tall bitch and you're doing that hunched over.

Russell (Upri):

So I'm nine feet, but then I also have a foot of antlers, so we're ten feet tall. You know, on every episode of then I also have a foot of antlers, so we're like ten feet tall.

Timothy (DM):

So you know, on every episode of Rupel, when they have to make the family resemblance on some straight dude and they're like muscular and their shoulders are like forward.

Kai (Yonce):

They have called you a whore, a bitch and a dude.

Dan (Wren):

And a straight dude at that.

Timothy (DM):

Your knees are bent, as you're just kind of clonking up the oh, they're just like.

Russell (Upri):

my feet are out to the side. I'm not doing the, I'm just like. Do y'all have issues that we need to talk about.

Kai (Yonce):

Because this seems like fighting words. No.

Timothy (DM):

This feels realistic for a breed.

Russell (Upri):

Yeah, words, no. This feels realistic for a breed. Yeah. Yeah, why did you choose high heels of all the time? Uh, it seemed like a good idea at the time my defense I don't know there'll be stairs.

Dan (Wren):

I mean you're growing them out of yourself, right? Yeah, just lower them a little bit oh um, also one foot in front of the other this is all like a crab walk um ren will model. Uh, you know, like a walk yeah, that's what I'm doing you're in the

Chris (Salvador):

entrance already demonstrating how to walk.

Timothy (DM):

All the other guests are like tiptoeing around you is this a performance art I'm gonna I'm gonna hive mine why didn't you grow shoes that were comfortable, like I did?

Russell (Upri):

I didn't grow them, I bought them, but I mean they're comfy, they just are hard to walk in so you make it up the stairs.

Timothy (DM):

they they're bespoke, they fit to your form. Can I use?

Russell (Upri):

sage advice to oh Is this the first time you're using this ability.

Russell (Upri):

This is the ability you have.

Dan (Wren):

No, I've done it a couple times before for investigation and whatnot, but can I use it to?

Russell (Upri):

help Sage advice.

Timothy (DM):

Yeah, yeah, yeah, to give Aubrey pointers on how to walk in heels. Remind me what the sage advice.

Dan (Wren):

Does it walk in heels? It technically wouldn't work unless I have a skill that I am proficient in you own a Deception.

Timothy (DM):

You own an establishment in which you've probably had to train other people how to walk in heels.

Dan (Wren):

That's fair, which would give up re-advantage. No, you'd add your proficiency bonus to whatever you'd rolled.

Russell (Upri):

Oh, so 14.

Russell (Upri):

Are we? Up to five, I think it's still four, I think we're still four, yeah, so 14.

Russell (Upri):

So, like a little less wobbly.

Timothy (DM):

A little less wobbly. Okay, so you find your footing after getting up the stairs. You kind of clamber up the stairs. Ren is like do this, Like straighten your back, Push back your shoulders, straighten your legs keep your feet together, and then I get to the top of the stairs and go.

Russell (Upri):

I forgot to breathe.

Russell (Upri):

Alright, I got this.

Timothy (DM):

Alright. And as you are entering the entrance hall and you hear the violins, you hear the flutes, you see the chandeliers and the carpets rolling out in each direction, um, and you see the red light from beneath the door of the room in front of you, and you know, this is where I go through the door.

Russell (Upri):

How?

Dan (Wren):

tall is it? Do I have to crouch?

Timothy (DM):

I squat through this door you squat through this door because, yes, you are oh yeah, can I try duck walking, was that in the lessons.

Russell (Upri):

Do I get my proficiency bonus?

Timothy (DM):

no, no, and the whole time like you're standing out like a sore thumb. Everybody's giving you a look Because I'm a beautiful gazelle. Beautiful gazelle, so so fucking tall, such a large person, and everybody else is like.

Russell (Upri):

And I'm going to go flirt with a dwarf?

Russell (Upri):

yeah, who's?

Russell (Upri):

eye level with machines all right.

Chris (Salvador):

If you just play out on the ground, it'll be eye level yeah oh yeah, he's, if you lay down, you'll be the same height.

Timothy (DM):

Yeah, can I?

Russell (Upri):

go lay on the table. He's doing moving chest pieces.

Timothy (DM):

Oh my gosh so you walk into the room and you do see. You see, um, a person matching the description of the duke of dulgar in galadia, duke ironthrane, duke thrain ironheart um, he is a grizzled dwarf with a commanding presence. As you enter the room, he is across the war table from you and he looks directly at you with this like burning intensity. He's have you ever looked at somebody who just stares into glares, into every person's soul that they ever come in contact with, like they just have a constant intensity?

Timothy (DM):

yeah, everyone that's duke frame ironheart. So he's an holistic, is what I'm hearing yes, he loves eye contact and he makes direct eye contact with you immediately upon entering the room and just continues talking as if to who? To the other people in the room there are a couple other, uh, men in decorative armor that are all talking and discussing um their various campaign measures amongst each other. Now, mind you, these are people who are leaders of separate countries, all discussing their tactics together.

Russell (Upri):

That's weird. I'm gonna like go up to the corner near him and try to sit down sexily on the corner of the table and to sit down sexily on the corner of the table and go hey, thraney give me okay, give me a persuasion check did I get sage advice for that too? You did not okay, um shit, red or gold. No, that's not red, that's blue.

Timothy (DM):

Nine he pays you no attention at first and continues to talk to the two men to his right and left. You see that he starts to move. He has, he has one of those sticks that moves the like army oh, like a shovel board stick.

Timothy (DM):

Yeah, you know, um, so he's moving the things around. There's like little flag banners that are being like moved around, um, and you can tell that there's a negotiation happening, that they are planning out the battles that are to take place, and there's a negotiation of who will have the upper hand in each one, kind of to demonstrate their prowess and almost outmaneuver each other's ability to portray their strengths.

Russell (Upri):

Wait, do they practice chivalry in this universe in war, like there's code and etiquette?

Timothy (DM):

It's more like they're playing a game of chess and trying to um.

Russell (Upri):

Yes, okay, they're not playing a game of negotiating future battles talking about their, their actual armies okay and negotiating and defending the strengths and weaknesses of their own.

Timothy (DM):

It's like a game of chicken, almost.

Russell (Upri):

I'm going to go. Where does a general keep his armies? Do they look at me?

Timothy (DM):

They don't look at you, but as they continue to move the pawns around, there's one that's like right up against your left thigh and he reaches over, picks it up over your lap and slams it back down on the table. Do you?

Russell (Upri):

mind no, continue, continue. Who are you? Well, I am Upri. I beat that bitch, gladys, in the arena some time ago.

Timothy (DM):

He looks puzzled at first, until you see someone who hadn't noticed at first A shorter, thinner, younger elf bends over, whispers something in his ear and he goes oh Uprie, yes, Do we have business?

Russell (Upri):

On the books?

Timothy (DM):

no, but I'd like to oh gosh, and what business do you propose?

Russell (Upri):

Me you a bottle of scotch Talking about armies and how generals keep them up their sleevies.

Timothy (DM):

He has like a twisted Face.

Russell (Upri):

Come on, we both know you think I'd be a fun time. Is there a quiet living room? We can go talk strategy some way.

Timothy (DM):

You're not what I imagined you'd be.

Russell (Upri):

Yeah, I get that a lot. I'm pretty unimaginable.

Kai (Yonce):

You hear in the high-five.

Timothy (DM):

I decline your proposals.

Russell (Upri):

Oh, do you have any proposals, however? Oh.

Timothy (DM):

I have heard word of your capabilities.

Russell (Upri):

Would you like a demonstration? Pick one of these bitches, I'll fuck them up.

Timothy (DM):

Come with me to the white room.

Russell (Upri):

Oh Okay.

Timothy (DM):

And he sets down the post, and the two other men follow behind him along with his squire, and he leads you down the hall to the white room. As you enter the white room, you see Yonce sitting in the throne.

Kai (Yonce):

Uprie what? Hey, yon, wait, wait. What are you doing? What are you?

Russell (Upri):

doing here? Uh, I don't know, just hanging out with rainy, what are you doing?

Kai (Yonce):

I'm being treated to a um a fencing match, while talking to percival oh I think I'm gonna be one of them fencers. Wait what? And I look at Percy, I look at Percy.

Timothy (DM):

What Percy does, a little like circle-up motion with his fingers and the two people who are currently fencing. They stop and they clear the arena. Then you see the squire grabs a box from an armoire along the wall and opens it to reveal a selection of weapons. Motions over to you first.

Russell (Upri):

Oh, that's okay, I got my own and I'll just summon Amber out of thin air and clink her on the ground.

Timothy (DM):

And then they turn to Duke Ironheart.

Russell (Upri):

Wait, I'm fighting Draney.

Timothy (DM):

Yes.

Russell (Upri):

Is there a chair somewhere? He begins to take off his ceremonial armor. Cool, while he's doing that, I'm using amber to start sawing off my heels.

Kai (Yonce):

Wait, didn't you say you grew them? Yeah, I can regrow them.

Russell (Upri):

Oh, I mean can't you just retract them, suck them in. Suck them in, I mean that'd take too long.

Timothy (DM):

And just start sawing away um, so you hack off your heels as uh duke ironheart begins to prepare himself. So he takes off his ceremonial armor, the decorative uh pieces, the mask, and he begins to get outfitted in a pretty standard set of armor.

Kai (Yonce):

I'm gonna look at Percy being like what's happening right now?

Timothy (DM):

Oh, it appears that we're getting a special showing tonight.

Kai (Yonce):

Oh gosh, oh no.

Timothy (DM):

I do love when he gets all hot and bothered.

Russell (Upri):

Oh, I hope this is like the Matrix, the Animatrix, where they cut each other's clothes off in the dojo and then they fuck. That was so hot.

Russell (Upri):

There's a lot of people, never mind, I'm sorry.

Russell (Upri):

Oh, I don't think they actually fuck the alarm. Sorry, I'm going. Oh, I don't think they actually fucked the alarm.

Kai (Yonce):

Sorry, I'm going to hive mine. Uprie, please do not kill this man.

Dan (Wren):

Kill who? I won't. I'm just going to cut his clothes off. Ren sitting in line being like kill who.

Kai (Yonce):

Who are?

Dan (Wren):

we killing.

Kai (Yonce):

I explain everything that's happening.

Dan (Wren):

Oh, okay, that kind of tracks what I thought was going to happen. Alright, alright.

Russell (Upri):

Yeah, I have to show my dominance. It's okay, he seems thick Sword won't probably cut all the way through.

Kai (Yonce):

Oh lord, I'm going to watch a murder On the dance floor Alright Roll initiative Brie.

Russell (Upri):

What weapon does he?

Timothy (DM):

have. So he pulls out a glaive.

Russell (Upri):

A glaive.

Dan (Wren):

Oh my goodness, Reach, she's got reach on you. You got it in close.

Chris (Salvador):

He's a collapsible glaive. Yeah, so he has a long decorative glaive.

Timothy (DM):

You can tell that this was made specially for this event. This particular glaive has not seen combat yet. 11. 11. Okay, cool, 11, 11, okay, cool. Um, so as you're sawing off your heels and he's preparing, he's donning his armor set of plate mail. The squire scurries on over to you, looks up. I keep being like. They bend down. Nope, they look up and they go. Do you know how a duel works? Uh, no.

Timothy (DM):

Okay, um, you walk three paces back on the count of three. You're supposed to match their footsteps and they turn around and then the duel commences. It's very subtle okay also, you have to lock eye contact before it begins okay, I think that's it.

Russell (Upri):

you think okay, eye contact before it begins. I think that's it Okay.

Timothy (DM):

The confidence and then they scurry back over. They had to make sure that this was going to be a PC event. All right, pc event Alright. And at this point, duke Ironheart is standing in the middle of the combat arena with his glaive in the grounds, standing upright, looking forward, awaiting your engagement.

Russell (Upri):

Okay, I'll sling my sword onto my shoulders. You ready, thraney?

Timothy (DM):

He does not respond. He continues to look directly forward, waiting for you to meet him In the engagement.

Russell (Upri):

Okay, I walk up to him In the engagement. Okay, I walk up to him Eye contact. Are we ready? Wait, I thought that was after the paces.

Timothy (DM):

You look over at the square and go do it now.

Russell (Upri):

Do what the paces? He's not moving, though I thought he would be the lead eye contact.

Timothy (DM):

okay, I look at him the eye okay, you make eye contact and then he turns on point and you can hear his footsteps one, two okay, I'm doing the three, I'm bare'm barefoot, by the way.

Timothy (DM):

Yep, and it's. Each time he hits the ground you hear the clunk, clunk, clunk. There's like a very strict cadence to the duel. Before you hear him turning on, point behind you and you are now standing 30 feet apart. He rolled a 20 on his initiative, so he will go first. So the first thing he does is charge at you, he pulls the glaive up in the air and he begins to swing it across the room at you.

Kai (Yonce):

You don't say gaffs, but then composes themselves.

Russell (Upri):

I'm going to use my reaction to make him re-roll. Okay, the threads.

Timothy (DM):

So he has three melee attacks so I re-roll. The first one will be a miss, second will be a 20 to hit yeah. And the third will also be a 20 to hit, yeah. And the third will also be a 20 to hit, okay. So he swings a flurry of glaive slashes across your body and it just continues to go around and around and around. The first one misses, the second slashes across your armored chest and the third one across your shoulder. You're going to take.

Russell (Upri):

Oh, so he's cutting into me.

Timothy (DM):

Yes, he's cutting into you. You are going to take 27 slashing damage. That's a lot of damage.

Russell (Upri):

It's your turn. He's 10 feet away, because reach.

Timothy (DM):

Yes, he is 10 feet away, I'm going to.

Russell (Upri):

After the third hit. I'm going to spin around and lun. He is ten feet away. I'm gonna After the third hit. I'm gonna like spin around and like lunge, but then rage while I'm lunging within five feet.

Kai (Yonce):

You're welcome, Jan. That one was especially bitchy today it was.

Russell (Upri):

It wasn't that bitchy say that again.

Dan (Wren):

There are no pitches for it to be pitchy, but it was.

Kai (Yonce):

It was intense as this is happening, though, I do reach my hand out to hold Percy's hand. Does he accept?

Dan (Wren):

yes, he accepts your hand you're just this dainty worried thing for your sister.

Timothy (DM):

No, no and you see he glances over at you and gives a little smirk.

Kai (Yonce):

And I look very ingenue as I look like this oh gosh, scary, that's my sister, so I just, I care, you care. It's all for show, don't worry, my dear.

Dan (Wren):

You don't know, upri, like I know upri. Yeah, I'm not worried for her.

Russell (Upri):

Um, a little sprite, comes out of my dress and starts circling his head like screaming, like ah, lagooning contingent, okay, so raging. That was my bonus action. I'm going to reckless attack. Um, those are both knights, that's kind of 19 plus 3, 22 to hit a 22 will hit.

Russell (Upri):

Except he casts shield.

Dan (Wren):

What he casts shield. He's an aldrich knight, god damn it.

Russell (Upri):

So then it goes up to 27 25 Becomes his AC for the round. Alright, so I guess that doesn't hit.

Timothy (DM):

No, so he pushes away your attack and then he goes to swing at you again. Wow, okay, ray, do you have any more action? Economy?

Russell (Upri):

No, the second attack was only a 23.

Timothy (DM):

Yeah.

Russell (Upri):

Oh wait. No, he needs to make a deck save because the pixie explodes. Oh wait.

Timothy (DM):

No, he needs to make a dex save because the pixie explodes. Oh okay, his dex save is a 16.

Russell (Upri):

He fails, he needs to beat a 17. Alright, he takes 6 force damage as the pixie explodes next to his head 6 force damage, yeah Gorgeous.

Dan (Wren):

Gorgeous.

Timothy (DM):

Just one ear, um, all right. So now he's going to make his three attacks, and now does he move away?

Russell (Upri):

because isn't the way reach works. You're at disadvantage if you're adjacent to somebody interesting isn't how glaives work I can look it. Or is that just war picks, because you almost did one for Paul, but then you decided against it.

Dan (Wren):

I thought so. Paul is a character that I played with.

Russell (Upri):

Hi I'm Paul.

Dan (Wren):

She ain't country. I mean she's kind of country, but she ain't talk country. He will regardless.

Timothy (DM):

Step away from you. So he keeps his distance.

Russell (Upri):

I will opportunity attack then. Alright, heck, yeah it doesn't say it 27.

Timothy (DM):

A 27 will hit Alright.

Russell (Upri):

So that does. Oh god, how much damage bonus do I have? Hold on, I'm on on my phone. There's so much to keep track of. Um, oh god, plus 12. Um, so 10 plus 12 is 22 damage. And because I took the sentinel feat, his speed drops to zero and he can't move. He's stuck next to me that's romantic he slices Achilles yeah, so I cut him in the leg as he's trying to run away, and then he can't move oh, so then he's stuck right next to you his speed drops to zero, did we look up?

Timothy (DM):

if it's disadvantage, it is not disadvantage. I didn't think so. I thought it was just range. I think there might be, some weapons that are specifically disadvantage okay 24 to hit on the first 20, to hit on the first 20 to hit on the second. And then he's going to cast a spell, a cone um, make a dexterity saving throw his action accompanies wild yeah he, so he hits you twice for how much damage? Damage and then tries to blast you away with his other hand, and it is going to be four.

Dan (Wren):

A cone of what Silence Twelve slashing damage.

Timothy (DM):

Only that time, all right. Half to six, all right, and then your dex save.

Russell (Upri):

It's an effect I can see.

Timothy (DM):

Yes.

Russell (Upri):

So it's with advantage.

Kai (Yonce):

Sorry, One sec, you said cone and Dan was like cone of one and I was like cone of silence.

Russell (Upri):

It was sick.

Russell (Upri):

Y'all, I was like cone of silence.

Dan (Wren):

It was sick. Was it a cone of shame?

Kai (Yonce):

Oh, you saw me last night then.

Russell (Upri):

Continue A 16.

Timothy (DM):

A 16 will, oh my gosh, not save All right. So then you're going to get hit with a psionic blast.

Kai (Yonce):

Oh Damn.

Timothy (DM):

And you're going to take 5d8 force damage. Good lord, I really need to start getting more dice for this level of play.

Chris (Salvador):

I guess it's good that Upray was fighting this guy 18 force damage.

Timothy (DM):

And then you are pushed 20 feet away and knocked, prone Alright. So he blasts you away, knocking you over, throwing you across the white tile of the room.

Kai (Yonce):

Can I quickly say I'm going to look at, since this is for our entertainment. I'm going to look at Percy, since you're a betting man, betting dragon who do you think will win, and I look at them with my beautiful hazel eyes that enrapture them.

Timothy (DM):

He turns to you, turns back to the match that has just only begun. We're like ten seconds in.

Kai (Yonce):

I'm past.

Timothy (DM):

I've heard wonderful things about your sister, but unfortunately I think her fate was sealed the moment she underestimated Ironheart.

Kai (Yonce):

Do you want to make a bet out of it? One thousand gold.

Timothy (DM):

Deal and hot. Do you want to make a bet out of it? 1,000?

Kai (Yonce):

gold Deal and I rub their hand and I just start looking and my eyes kind of dart back at them for a second. Do they notice?

Timothy (DM):

They're looking at you the whole time, oh, sorry, sorry. They're looking at you the whole time, oh.

Russell (Upri):

Sorry, sorry.

Kai (Yonce):

Yonce is blushing. It's like good thing I won that money. I hide mine that I may need to take some. Wait, never mind. We're all rich now. Never mind, continue.

Timothy (DM):

You have 5,000 gold.

Kai (Yonce):

Actually 6,000. Soon to be 7,000. Exactly Technically, if I add Upris money too.

Timothy (DM):

All right, so we are on Upris' turn. What are you doing?

Russell (Upri):

How wide is the room?

Timothy (DM):

The room is, let's say, 50 by 50 is the fighting area?

Russell (Upri):

Okay, let's say 50 by 50 is the fighting area. Okay, um, I'm going to make a 60 foot wall. Well, I guess the 50 foot wall across the whole room on a square, like bisecting it. So he'd have to move through the wall basically to get away. And so he has to make a DC 17 deck save.

Timothy (DM):

All right.

Russell (Upri):

Nine he fails, so he'll take the full 78 piercing damage. I'm gonna roll in here because that's a fucking lot to roll 78.

Timothy (DM):

78. Yes.

Russell (Upri):

Alright, he takes 35 piercing damage. 35. Yes, All right, he takes 35 piercing damage 35, all right, and he is now in, so it costs.

Russell (Upri):

Oops, every foot of movement, I think, is four feet when standing in the wall or something silly like that. I think that's what you said before. Yeah, every one foot counts as four feet. Uh, and if he ends his turn in the wall, he'll take damage again and I'm gonna run up adjacent to him. Well, so I do that. I use 20 feet to get up, I run 20 feet towards him, so I'm standing between him like on the other side of my brain's not working. I'm so angry, I want to kill him, so bad. So he's in the wall, I'm standing just outside of it, sword ready, and I'm going to bonus action summon another pixie from my hair.

Russell (Upri):

This time that's going to go circle him so he needs to make a deck save within the wall. You do with that what you will. I don't know if anything happens to him trying to dodge an exploding pixie inside a giant wall of briars. He's going to fail, all right. So he takes one force damage.

Timothy (DM):

It's like a little ear pop-up. It actually clears that ear, and then what are the mechanics for him moving out of said wall?

Russell (Upri):

Just the movement penalty. So one foot costs four. He can do it pretty easily.

Timothy (DM):

Okay. Does he take damage while doing so? No only if he Just the movement penalty. One foot costs four, he can do it pretty easily.

Russell (Upri):

Does he take damage while doing so?

Timothy (DM):

No only if he ends his turn. Okay cool, you just stood up, you didn't move anywhere.

Russell (Upri):

I'm right next to him. Oh, you did run towards him.

Timothy (DM):

Cool, he is going to try to circle around you and he's going to action surge.

Russell (Upri):

Oh, fucking fighters.

Timothy (DM):

So he's going to do.

Russell (Upri):

Six attacks.

Timothy (DM):

He's going to do six attacks. Wow. Are there any attacks which you have an ability that you would like to use against?

Russell (Upri):

No, I have one reaction and I don't think he's going to move away, so I think technically I can summon another sprite to explode, but I'll do that after the end of his attacks, because it's called Unstable, backlash, gorgeous, it's once per long rest.

Timothy (DM):

Can you hand me some D8? No, d10. D10? Yes, okay, the end of his attacks, because it's called unstable backlash. Gorgeous, that's once per long. Rest me some d8, no d10 yes, yes okay, so I'm gonna roll six attacks so he out of the wall of thorns to the other side of you, and in that motion he's just spinning. It's like his entire body is just this centrifugal force just trying to hack at you. He's just spiraling with this glaive.

Dan (Wren):

Oh my god, that was awesome.

Russell (Upri):

Yay, yay. I messed up his inner ear with my pixie that screamed um.

Timothy (DM):

So a 28, 28 hits right yeah, 17 is the dc, the next highest is an 18 that hits okay, so that hits and then a um 16 does not hit, so the rest of them do not hit, so two of the six hit. Two of the six Wow. That's a plus nine, so we are going to just roll a two to him.

Russell (Upri):

I think thematically, as he's spinning overhead, I'm going to summon my leaf wings to try to shield, and the first four attacks cut through the wings and then the last two hit me.

Timothy (DM):

Alright Eleven flashing damage.

Russell (Upri):

Have to five.

Timothy (DM):

Oh, uh, and that's his turn. What are you asking, oh?

Russell (Upri):

I gave you four dice.

Dan (Wren):

You gave me four dice you gave me two back.

Russell (Upri):

Alright, I'm going to reckless attack him with Amber All right. That's a nat 20. Any legendary actions?

Timothy (DM):

He does have a legendary resistance, but that's not how that works.

Russell (Upri):

So the way that Barbarian and Orc come into play with criticals is, I roll, not two, not three, but four times the damage dice.

Kai (Yonce):

Oh fuck, as this is happening, I'm like yeah.

Russell (Upri):

I'm free and I'm like oof, so it's a 33 to hit, so she'll don't work. I want you to know, sorry so unladylike.

Kai (Yonce):

So, it's gonna be.

Russell (Upri):

You just see that Percy smirks again oh, I'm sitting on it tonight all right, so I'm gonna roll 2d6 four times and add 12 blink, blink, blink all right, fine, do you?

Dan (Wren):

need me to math for you seven.

Russell (Upri):

7 plus 8 is 15 plus 4 is 19 plus 12 is 29 plus 2, 31, slashing damage. And then I go in for a second attack, which is going to be 31, to hit it's 19. So close to another critical. Imagine if you were a champion.

Kai (Yonce):

You're a champion.

Russell (Upri):

And that is going to be an additional 16 slashing damage. And then I'm going to bonus actions. Actions summon another pixie from under my skirt. It's going to come out between my legs, go towards his face. So he needs to make a dc 17 deck save all right.

Timothy (DM):

Oh my god, does that count as a spell or no?

Russell (Upri):

uh, it's, it's part of my um wild surge okay, wild Surge, okay, no it doesn't Okay. Ooh. So that's another two force damage that pops near his face. It only does 1d6.

Timothy (DM):

Oh, okay, okay, okay, okay, it's just annoying.

Russell (Upri):

It's just, you know, it's just annoying. Good for spellcasters, though, do you see?

Russell (Upri):

that he I mean he is wearing, uh, a helmet, like a helm, uh, but you can see that he in the slits, you can see that he's getting quite frustrated cool and like thematically, I want to like be like it doesn't have to lower his ac off me, but I want to be like slowly, like cutting the straps of armor in between so that when I win the duel his armor will just drop off and he'll just be standing there in his jock.

Kai (Yonce):

Upree. Nothing, I just wanted to be dramatic.

Russell (Upri):

I mean you can probably hear this in Upree's head while she's fighting.

Dan (Wren):

Inadvertently Telegraphing the whole group. I wonder what Sal's doing in their little sex in their little sex room at this point sounds like mid pants down, being like what the fuck is happening.

Russell (Upri):

I hope this I mean you probably heard the explosion of brambles being summoned I heard the hoo-wee so I'm like oh, he's probably fighting somebody the sound of rain getting like oh damn, is that thunder?

Timothy (DM):

um, okay, so he's gonna make some more attacks on you, because that's what he does um.

Russell (Upri):

I'm at 93, I'm so scared you little bitch that I have alright too much coffee. You're rolling with advantage, right? I keep reckless attacking.

Timothy (DM):

Oh, I have not been rolling with advantage.

Russell (Upri):

Oh girl.

Chris (Salvador):

Reroll that at six attack.

Russell (Upri):

You can reroll the four if you want.

Timothy (DM):

Thank you because he's about to crit on your ass.

Kai (Yonce):

This is why you shouldn't have said nothing. I'm about to lose a thousand gold Two attacks on you.

Timothy (DM):

The first one, I rolled a one and a three, but the second one I did roll a nat 20. So he's going to crit on you with a second glaive attack and that is going to be for 11 slashing damage. Oh, but it's a crit, so add another 1021 slashing damage. Oh, but it's a crit, so add another 10 21 slashing damage. And all your magic like abilities. Stop.

Russell (Upri):

Like the wild magic is gone, wild magic stops. Am I still?

Timothy (DM):

raging, your raging is fine. That's not magic like.

Russell (Upri):

No more annoying fairies.

Timothy (DM):

Yeah, no more fairies and your wall drops.

Dan (Wren):

Do your clothes drop off.

Russell (Upri):

Are my tits out, tim? No, fern is magic, but I'm infused with fern. Fern is a magical being, okay.

Timothy (DM):

Fern stops. He just stabs you in. I'm infused with fern. Fern is a magical being. Okay, so that doesn't dispel his entire entity.

Dan (Wren):

He just stabs you and all of your plants falls out.

Timothy (DM):

But like you feel like as the glaive cuts across you, you just feel your concentration break and that like wild, bubbly feeling that you get from your magic just kind of like spills out with your blood okay um and then, uh, he is going to second winds, bonus action, second wind. And then he still has one more fun thing, which is to cast Scorching Ray.

Kai (Yonce):

Wait, since you're a part plant, does that mean it doubles the damage?

Russell (Upri):

We discussed about making me a subtype plant, but I don't think we agreed on it.

Timothy (DM):

And he's gonna cast that at the fourth level.

Russell (Upri):

Oh my god, yeah, he's out for blood now I'm just trying to pants him in front of all of his peers.

Kai (Yonce):

Yeah, nothing can go wrong with that.

Timothy (DM):

Three rays which are each at advantage. Right, yeah, Does he move away. Yes, he moves away, I'm going to reaction, set opportunities.

Russell (Upri):

Okay, uh, yes, he moves away. I'm gonna reaction sentinel opportunities, okay. Uh, I don't think an 18 hits.

Timothy (DM):

No, it does not um so he steps away enough to blast you with three rays of scorching hot fire. Uh, first one is going to be a fire, first one is going to be a 26. That'll hit, then we've got a 23.

Russell (Upri):

Can I use my inspiration to reroll the opportunity attack?

Timothy (DM):

You can.

Kai (Yonce):

Nom nom, nom nom.

Timothy (DM):

Okay, the opportunity attack is now a 27 wow 27 I already used my bonus action, uh, so he will that deals 18 slashing damage okay, is that the one that also prevents him from moving?

Russell (Upri):

yeah, okay so then those would technically be normal all right so we'll say the first one, so whatever um.

Timothy (DM):

So instead of doing that, he will psionic blast oh shit dead, as opposed to doing that. So make a dexterity saving throw and it'll be 68 at the fourth level uh, that's a natural 20 for 21 a nat 20 for 21, the save is a 17, so you will take half as much. But don't get pushed or knocked prone. So I'm going to roll 68. And we'll get going with that. Oh my gosh, there you go. 16 force damage halved to 8 do you have force damage?

Russell (Upri):

I passed the save. I think at this point a lot of leaves are just blowing about the room with all the force happening yes, yes, yes, yes, yes.

Timothy (DM):

Alright, that's your turn.

Russell (Upri):

That was his turn.

Timothy (DM):

Yeah, so now it's your turn. Sorry, I want to win so bad.

Russell (Upri):

Alright.

Russell (Upri):

I'm going to reckless attack.

Timothy (DM):

Alright.

Russell (Upri):

That is a 30 to hit.

Timothy (DM):

A 30 will hit yeah.

Russell (Upri):

That is going to be another 18 slashing damage.

Timothy (DM):

Alright.

Russell (Upri):

Second attack doesn't hit only a 16. Alright, and then I don't think I have any bonus action casting stove, so I will just vibe Gorgeous.

Timothy (DM):

All right, he's just going to keep with the things that are working. You didn't reckless attack that time right.

Russell (Upri):

No, I did Just assume I'm doing it honestly. I'll probably do it every turn.

Timothy (DM):

Cool, cool, cool, cool. So just three glaive attacks A 27 will hit, a 24 will hit and a 20 will hit. Okay, so you get hit with three, so that's six plus 14, it's 22 plus eight is 30 slashing damage all right half to 15 all right, your turn. This is really just gonna be like hitting each other, okay just a flurry of blows, and cutting reckless attack.

Dan (Wren):

I'm so glad we switched.

Timothy (DM):

Yeah, I would be down by now, you might have had a very different conversation.

Russell (Upri):

28 to hit, 28 will hit that's 15 slashing damage, 15 gorgeous, and then a 20 to hit will hit. That's 15 slashing damage, 15. Gorgeous, and then a 20 to hit 20 is his. Ac. Heck yeah, and that is 22 slashing damage.

Timothy (DM):

Alright, okay.

Russell (Upri):

Cutting the straps. Cutting the straps.

Timothy (DM):

Seriously. So he's looking pretty burnt down, uh, but he's gonna go again. We're gonna go. Did you'll hit? So two more? I'm just gonna keep going real fast. Uh, 14 plus 6 is 20 slashing damage you're up to 10.

Russell (Upri):

Uh, reckless attack all right uh, oh, thank god, that's a 30 to hit that'll do it uh, and that is 22 slashing damage all right uh, and then a 27 to hit that'll do it uh, and that is 24 slashing damage.

Dan (Wren):

Come on, let's go You're getting real close. Teletubby Headbutt him.

Timothy (DM):

Oh my Paul. 21 to hit, 19 to hit All right, and 22 to hit. And 22 to hit Yep. So 6 plus 10, 16 plus 12 is 28, slashing damage 14. Thank you.

Russell (Upri):

And you're up. I'm not looking good, I'm not looking good, reckless, attack, reckless attack.

Timothy (DM):

It's real close. It seems like.

Russell (Upri):

Oh my god.

Timothy (DM):

That's like a 30-something. You're both heavy breathing at this point. You're just bashing each other aggressive, like alpha exhibit that could possibly be going on right now. And Percy is just like oh my god, this is good. He's like on the edge. You see that. He's like slowly been like scooting up to the edge of his seat. He's like loving this excitement. He's glancing over you, yonce, and being like, oh, I wonder who's going to win.

Kai (Yonce):

Oh my God, Not this kink.

Timothy (DM):

Oh, my goodness.

Kai (Yonce):

I'm going to rub his hand and just like, maybe go to his thigh. Well, it's two thrones, so that'd be awkward, never mind.

Dan (Wren):

You scoot your throne over right next to his, so he can reach over.

Kai (Yonce):

I just snap my fingers um hi, can you just? We just hear a scream against the floor. I do put my. What I will do is I'll pretend that I'm a little scared and put my head on their shoulder.

Russell (Upri):

Aww as I hit him with a 30 and a 27, for a total of 34 slashing damage 34?

Timothy (DM):

yeah, yay, I hit him with a 30 and a 27 for a total of 34 slashing damage 34?.

Chris (Salvador):

Yeah, yay.

Timothy (DM):

As you are about to swing down that final blow, he throws up his glaive Not glaive. Yeah, glaive he throws up his glaive and he goes I yield, I yield Clean, and that's where we're going to go on a little bit of a break everybody $7,000 richer, I mean yay everyone.

Russell (Upri):

We'll be back in 10 minutes.

Timothy (DM):

So keep your ears peeled for our return. Bye, all right. So keep your ears peeled for our return, bye, alright. So Ironheart has just yielded and you see that his squire immediately runs on over and whispers something into his ear, and he whispers something back, and then the squire comes up to you, upray, and just like, waves you forward and they're going to take you down the hall back to the war room. You see, duke Ironheart is just behind you, and as he enters the room he closes the door and locks it, and that's when we're going to switch over.

Kai (Yonce):

Wait what Beyonce's going to look like. Wait what's happening.

Russell (Upri):

Wait, while he's walking behind me, I'm going to slowly start regrowing my heels, so I get slightly taller, slightly tallerowing my heels, so I get slightly taller.

Timothy (DM):

Oh my gosh Alright. So let's pay a visit to Salvador because we didn't get to get much into it last session with Countess Isolde Dreamweaver, weaver, uh. So salvador has disrobed and re-robed um, with his special armor.

Chris (Salvador):

Yeah, I've underneath the robe I found a smoking jacket in the in the wardrobe that I think would conceal it nicely. Okay, all right, alright.

Timothy (DM):

She's still lounging on the chaise. You hear the harp continue to pluck Just slowly and fluidly. The notes ring throughout the room and the smell of incense fills your lungs.

Chris (Salvador):

The air is calm and sleepy I think when we left off I had sat on the other end of the sheds and I was holding out a grape saying can I tempt you?

Timothy (DM):

she already took the grape, oh the grape. And then she motioned you over to change your clothes.

Chris (Salvador):

Oh gotcha. Yes, I misunderstood the order. Yes, but yeah, I look around the room. I'm taking in the sights. How many people are in the area?

Timothy (DM):

10 or so. Okay, just kind of some people come in and out slowly, but yeah, small gaggle, so is all this is such a lovely ambience, don't you say? Oh yes, I quite do enjoy the leisurely aspects of these balls. Pretty much spend my whole time here.

Chris (Salvador):

I can see why I've heard a hooey in the distance, which can only mean that there's a fight somewhere about.

Timothy (DM):

but this is rather preferable, I'd say yes, there's always at least one that I hear about afterwards. Usually nobody loses their head.

Chris (Salvador):

I'd imagine it'd be bad press if they did just boys being boys, I suppose. You know those boys. Oh gosh, I hate that saying Mask for what I don't imagine, but I do imagine. Tell me about your dreams. What do you dream about?

Timothy (DM):

What an interesting question, my dear. I guess it depends much on how I've been feeling that day or what's on my mind. Isn't that how dreams work?

Chris (Salvador):

It's sort of a washing of the day Memories and moments get interspersed and expanded upon as you slumber. Yes, hmm, dispersed and expanded upon as you slumber, yes.

Timothy (DM):

Hmm.

Chris (Salvador):

Well, I've not seen you around here before. This is my first time attending this particular shindig. Also, I've not been in town for very long, but I've come with a rationale.

Timothy (DM):

but and your name, my dear.

Chris (Salvador):

Well, it is Salvador Saldros.

Russell (Upri):

Hmm.

Timothy (DM):

Ah yes, Salvador, Seems you've had fun at the tourney.

Chris (Salvador):

Oodles. Yes, it was rather interesting. I, the champion that we'd been competing against. Not only had I never seen her before, though I had heard of her is interesting because I had run across her in the past in the town that had been lost to time and she's sort of tangled up in this whole mess that we're trying to time and she's sort of tangled up in this whole mess that we're trying to untangle right now, and you saw how powerful she is, so it's a pretty big mess oh yes, I suppose.

Timothy (DM):

So um, and what brings you here?

Chris (Salvador):

to my side. I was gonna say to this particular room I was, and what brings you here? To my side? I was going to say to this particular room I was interested in the whole theming of this party.

Timothy (DM):

And what do you mean by that?

Chris (Salvador):

Well, there's an allusion to that famous poem, A short story of sorts different rooms representing different feelings and temptations. I am particularly fond of plants and this being the lilac room, I thought it was very suitable.

Timothy (DM):

Seems we always have some way to aesthetically bring in our particular pleasures. Mm-hmm, this is a lovely theme to do so.

Chris (Salvador):

I take a flute of champagne off of one of the trays that the there's an attendant in the room and I swirl around. Have you ever heard of the Dreamer?

Timothy (DM):

Is this a folk tale?

Chris (Salvador):

Of sorts, though maybe there's something more to it.

Timothy (DM):

I can't suppose that I've heard reference of this tale. Tell me about it.

Chris (Salvador):

Salvador goes into the mud shaper folktale and he sort of expands upon that based off of some of the details that came up with researching the cult in the library of valeria where he touches upon. Well, they, they say that this is somehow related to a cosmic cycle of sorts where different primordial beings are sort of taking lots and playing games with us mortals, and one of them being the dreamer, who can manipulate dreams, conjure dreams but also nightmares.

Timothy (DM):

Fascinating. What an idyllic story.

Chris (Salvador):

It's far from idyllic reality, because I've been approached by such a being In a dream.

Russell (Upri):

Such a being In a dream, hmm.

Timothy (DM):

Well, in my experience, entities that step into the world of dreams often have motivations of their own. True, I hope you're being careful.

Chris (Salvador):

That is my guiding point To avoid too much interaction with this sort of power Too much interaction with this sort of power, because I've seen some of the devastation that I can wreak on others, not necessarily this being, but other beings like them. I've seen people become paranoid, lose their motivations, be driven with other sort of alterations that have made them people that I have not. They've just changed and I'm thankful that I have not changed too much based off of my interaction and you're for certain that you're not mistakenly becoming acquainted with demons, right, they are pretty devilish, I would say.

Russell (Upri):

Did this bitch really just say that to the team? I take it in stride um, but yeah, beat somebody up.

Chris (Salvador):

I have a feeling that things will be taking a turn for the worst. Have you been reading the news lately about some of the turmoil that's been devouring towns?

Timothy (DM):

I tend to have my attendance. Do that for me wise it's one of the perks of being in my stature isolated isolated now you've done your research and she gives you kind of a twisted smile. Why would one be interested in talking to me of all the people here at the party?

Chris (Salvador):

I have a sense about things. Call it a knack of sorts. I've dealt with upper class society in my role as a steward of a household in Taravos. I have ability to read people sometimes and I got a pretty powerful reading from you.

Timothy (DM):

Astute, and what is it that you're asking for?

Chris (Salvador):

some of my compatriots at this party. We are trying to prepare ourselves for an upcoming confrontation. That hooey that you might have heard in the distance, intermingled with the harp music that was one of our warriors. There are others that are addressing for other motions, but I'm trying to gather allies.

Russell (Upri):

Hmm.

Timothy (DM):

Interesting. It appears you've done your research, but not well enough, my dear. I have a staunch inclination not to get involved in these types of things. However, if you're interested in more of my techniques, something on an interpersonal level, that is where my inclinations lie.

Chris (Salvador):

That was more of my stance. I know you don't like to make waves and rather than someone like a warlord or a knight, it'd be more like a friendly acquaintance to share secrets or techniques, as you mentioned.

Timothy (DM):

So then you've heard of my techniques then.

Chris (Salvador):

OOC. Have I heard anything in my investigation of her?

Timothy (DM):

I'm going to say yes we established in the last session that she's known for dream world navigation yes, there's a rumor around her that she traverses the dream world. Yeah, that's her story that is told.

Kai (Yonce):

I was rolling for swag damage. I got an at 20.

Chris (Salvador):

All right, it's a critical, but yeah, I'll ask her about the dream world.

Timothy (DM):

If you're intent on attending, I could guide you. Please do. There's a few walls that we'll have to take care of first.

Chris (Salvador):

Did you say walls.

Timothy (DM):

Yes.

Chris (Salvador):

Okay.

Timothy (DM):

Girl, we're going to need to get you much more relaxed. Oh, we're all fucking tonight I can see that armor beneath that jacket to you, I forgot about that.

Chris (Salvador):

It's very comfortable.

Timothy (DM):

Your je ne sais quoi French again.

Kai (Yonce):

Yeah, French didn't exist in this world, but whatever.

Timothy (DM):

Push for objectives, take a breath.

Dan (Wren):

Unrelaxed breath I've ever seen.

Timothy (DM):

Dear it's going to be a long night.

Chris (Salvador):

It's a good thing I have stamina.

Kai (Yonce):

Roll for psychic damage.

Timothy (DM):

Eight, I'm rolling well, and so before we actually get Salvador into the process of attempting to navigate Dreamworld. We're going to visit elsewhere because she is going to take some time to relax with you, show you her world, the leisure, the letting go, yeah, and help, attempt to help you reach that peace before she takes you on this journey I get a second glass of champagne all right, so we are going to go visit the green room with Ren. Oh, that's me Is it my turn yet. Yeah, that's what I'm saying.

Dan (Wren):

No, in the line. I was waiting in the line. I was waiting in the business line.

Timothy (DM):

Let me talk about what's going on. There's a line, there's the line no in the line. I was waiting in the line. I was waiting in the business line. Let me talk about what's going on here.

Russell (Upri):

There's a line. Yeah, there's a line.

Dan (Wren):

Yes there's a line.

Russell (Upri):

I'm so happy I didn't go to the fucking room.

Chris (Salvador):

Jesus, I would have lost my goddamn mind Pushing people over All very dissonant experiences that are going on.

Timothy (DM):

So you've been waiting and people have gotten to do to say their piece.

Dan (Wren):

we're not gonna like narrate you waiting in line for five minutes I do want to like investigate is from the skill perspective, but I want to like check out, the like, do like a survey of the people in the room. Okay, and see, because she is like a spy master.

Dan (Wren):

If I'm understanding her background, she like knows how to navigate back rooms I imagine she has a network of spies or confidants, um, and I'd like to see if I can like pick those people out based on their interactions that's why I wrote no clipping in my notes, because back rooms I'm so cringe yeah, so when I meant back rooms, I meant that back room dealing.

Timothy (DM):

Yes, so she doesn't do a spy network, it's not like she sends.

Dan (Wren):

So that was more of a black market or business deals, trading secrets did I go to the wrong room? Hmm, did I go to the wrong room. Should I've gone to viscount shadowblade instead?

Russell (Upri):

I mean lord harry's money bags we've got money bags, oh yeah dragon daddy, who's baroness illy? I just wrote she's an author and she's nerdy she's the nightshade she works on potions and alchemy. She's a chemist, yeah, alchemist I mean, maybe she can turn you into like the witcher or something no thanks, um that's okay, I'll stay here.

Dan (Wren):

I'll stay here, all right no need to reset the scene you also been in line for five minutes, yeah uh yeah, so her business deals go pretty quickly.

Timothy (DM):

So like, while there's a line, um, she keeps the pace going, she's, she's very like snippy and like make sure everybody gets to the point. Like what's your proposal? This is shark tank we're doing shark tank. Oh gosh, okay, you're doing a proposal like that's what you're doing to start preparing, like as you're waiting in line, you're preparing your what you going to say to her, because you see everybody else like go up, give her the proposal, make the deal, or she dismisses them.

Dan (Wren):

Great. Alternatively, then, instead of like trying to suss out who's like working for her, I want to lip read, like the private conversations that are happening across the room, so that I could deliver that information to her when I arrive, you're gonna blackmail the blackmailer?

Russell (Upri):

no, no, I'm not gonna.

Dan (Wren):

I'm not her. I mean, I can lip read. I want to lip read her conversations too but I also want to like people who might be like sheltering in a corner having a private conversation. I want to like get a vibe on who they are and what they're doing here, gotcha gotcha, gotcha that bitch terry's making a move against you over there.

Timothy (DM):

Yeah, specifically that sort of give me your perception check yep, you should dump your stocks in this company.

Russell (Upri):

What's my perception?

Dan (Wren):

oh, it's 14 a 14. Okay, can I do investigation instead?

Timothy (DM):

um because that makes it a nice it's gonna be different type of information, right, because your lip reading is associated with your perception, right? My lip reading just is, I just can't oh, okay, it doesn't have like language about what it is no, it's because it's.

Dan (Wren):

I have a feet observant. Okay, it just allows me to read lips investigation is more of like finding things like understanding clues.

Timothy (DM):

Yeah and putting yeah, making clues, piece together. Um, so you can do some of that. Yeah, what the heck? Give me an investigation and I'll a new one. Or should I use the?

Dan (Wren):

uh, give me a new one oh, much better, that is a 28, 28 okay, um, so.

Timothy (DM):

So, because of those two roles together, you do have difficulty like actually getting yourself into position and getting the full pieces of information. So you're trying to piece together snippets of what's going on, um, and like your attention's pulled in multiple directions because you're trying to listen to multiple people, um, and we'll say you do collect a couple I'm not going to give you like actual things, because these are all unnamed npcs um but you do collect a couple, um things that would be in their best interest to keep away from a lady harland golden shade.

Timothy (DM):

So you do piece together a couple secrets. You you make some assumptions that they are things that they wouldn't want her to know right away. That would be like revealing their hand. Um, so you have gotten a good amount of that. That's what I wanted, um, and then it's your turn cool um her attendant ushers you over I'm gonna ping, I'm gonna hey boys.

Russell (Upri):

Sorry, excuse me.

Dan (Wren):

Sal started it. I'll be right back and then I'm gonna Cut off everybody. Oh, I'm gonna sit down In the chair and then I'm going to Ping her. I'm not gonna say anything, I'm just going to Ping her.

Russell (Upri):

Beep, beep she is. I'm not going to say anything, I'm just going to ping her. Beep, beep, beep, beep she is beeping her head Incoming call from.

Timothy (DM):

She gives you a little bit of a surprised look and then she responds in her head.

Dan (Wren):

And she responds in her head and uh, who might this?

Timothy (DM):

be. Um, I will lean in so that she knows it's coming from me, like if that's sort of like she gets that.

Dan (Wren):

Okay, cool, I just want to make sure I'm cool. Um hi. Um, my name is ren. Um, I don't know if you attended the Coliseum, not Coliseum Days the. Arena match where the reigning champion, gladys, lost. I am one of those champions.

Timothy (DM):

It was recounted to me Very nice.

Dan (Wren):

I am here to establish a connection and friendship and also give you a warning about Duke Hasselhoff on the other side of the room, and then I'll iterate whatever information I got. He seems to be looking to use your resources in a way that you don't intend.

Russell (Upri):

He and Pamela are conspiring against you Would you like to confront him?

Dan (Wren):

Oh, not necessary, uh, but that will buy you some time um well, I again looking to make friends and relationships, as you I'm sure. As you already know, a war is on our doorstep and having knowledgeable, connected individuals on our side would be deeply helpful.

Timothy (DM):

And she says this out loud and what part in the war would you have me play?

Dan (Wren):

Ideally someone who connect us with resources in different areas, provide us connections with those in the underground in other cities. I'm not sure if you've been to Entropolis in the recent years, but I own the establishment Lark's Perch and while our dealings on a surface level are fully normal and legal, I wouldn't be surprised if we might have indirectly crossed paths.

Timothy (DM):

She thinks for just a moment. She thinks for just a moment and for your proposal.

Dan (Wren):

what is it that you're providing?

Timothy (DM):

My knowledge and services of the area and also my connections and you can provide more like what you just did.

Dan (Wren):

Yes, I am equipped with a special set of skills that I can't imagine anyone else in this world has Worked, even Wonderful.

Timothy (DM):

You've demonstrated your aptitude. It will be quid pro quo from here on out. All right, you have yourself a partner.

Dan (Wren):

That's an acceptable solution. I shake her hand, assuming she wants to.

Timothy (DM):

Yes, she stands up and shakes your hand and then she waves over the next person.

Dan (Wren):

Great Cool, I leave, check Done.

Russell (Upri):

Bingo bango, bingo bango.

Timothy (DM):

Bingo bango bongo.

Dan (Wren):

She's done, I'll re-ping our group. Be like hey, how are y'all doing? I'm done, I'm practicing my breathing. Do I go for another? While I have the time I'll think about it. I'll see how the rest of y'alls goes.

Timothy (DM):

You go mingle in the crowd outside of the green room in the hallway.

Dan (Wren):

I would like to find Viscount Shadowblade and mingle in that room. Viscount Shadowblade, yeah, I imagine he's probably in the intimate lounge, or maybe the art exhibit, I don't know so.

Timothy (DM):

I'll just describe so that you can get a lay of the land while we pivot over to Yonce. But as you reach the purple room you notice that it is Is it a sex dungeon.

Dan (Wren):

It's called the Intimate Lounge on our map, so I imagine it's a sex dungeon. There are the intimate lounge on our map so I imagine it's a sex there.

Russell (Upri):

There are dancers. What do you?

Timothy (DM):

think you push open the doors and you hear instruments um playing uh, the sitar and some percussion, some, uh, hand percussion, hand cymbals, that's what they're called and some dancers. Pillows are strewn across the room with silken fabrics. Curtains partition sections of the room off and you see.

Russell (Upri):

That room has a bed.

Timothy (DM):

Bear ass Skin. Bear ass Bear ass.

Russell (Upri):

Rawr.

Timothy (DM):

Skin and masked bodies rubbing up against each other.

Russell (Upri):

She found the orgy room.

Chris (Salvador):

I did find the orgy room.

Russell (Upri):

I knew there'd be one.

Timothy (DM):

There is a large king bed beneath the stained glass on the other end of the room that you can see between the little sl end of the room that you can see between the little slits of the partitions. It is dimly lit and a pungent dragon's blood perfume fills the air. Damn, the spice hits the back of your nose and stings in the first moments before it settles in and fills you with an intensity of excitement and energizes you.

Russell (Upri):

They have horny incense. Yeah, good thing I'm not.

Dan (Wren):

Good thing you don't get horny, no, you got back some of them.

Kai (Yonce):

Eh, I don't think I did.

Timothy (DM):

So we are gonna go back to visit Yonce.

Russell (Upri):

Who's in the room next to the horny incense?

Timothy (DM):

Yeah, who's in the room next to the horny incense?

Russell (Upri):

Yes, it's wafting into the hallway.

Kai (Yonce):

No wonder I want to sit on it so badly.

Russell (Upri):

The throne right.

Kai (Yonce):

Yeah, the iron throne Dracarys.

Dan (Wren):

The gilded throne. The gilded that's the scepter I want.

Timothy (DM):

We're done, we're done.

Kai (Yonce):

We are done here.

Timothy (DM):

So you've gotten a pretty good sense of where this conversation is going. You've had your little show. You seem, or get, you get the sense that you're pleasing percival in some sort of way. Where would you like to try to take this conversation? Because at this point, upray has just left and he's smiling as he does, call over his attendant who pulls out a little pouch of gold, okay, and sets it on a tray with a placard of your name on it. I'll take this to the coat check for when you leave.

Kai (Yonce):

Oh, thank you, I appreciate that leave.

Timothy (DM):

Well, thank you, I appreciate that, and they escort your winnings off elsewhere into the estate. Percy makes no reference or note of it.

Kai (Yonce):

That was exciting.

Timothy (DM):

I do enjoy the thrill of losing.

Kai (Yonce):

Wow, that explains a lot.

Timothy (DM):

It makes the winning so much more gratifying.

Kai (Yonce):

I think I love winning. I haven't flopped yet, so this is quite great. It was nice watching my sister battle with you.

Timothy (DM):

Quite a powerful woman.

Kai (Yonce):

Yeah, but I'm powerful, I'm more powerful. Not really, I'm just trying to.

Timothy (DM):

Yes, it was a very, very good show. Where did she learn to fight like that?

Kai (Yonce):

I mean, we come from the enchanted forest so we're always fighting our siblings and random British squirrels in the forest. You have to be pretty scrappy. In the world that we've had to live in, plus the past few years have been, we've had to learn quickly how to survive in this world.

Timothy (DM):

Interesting. I've just always thought that you needed to train to do this sort of thing, but I guess there are some of us who are more intuitive than others.

Kai (Yonce):

Sometimes, when you don't have the privilege to be trained, you're on the job. Training work, you learn indirectly, you learn with experience.

Timothy (DM):

Interesting. Well, I'm a bit parched. How are you feeling?

Kai (Yonce):

I'm feeling rather warm and kind of that battle kind of excited me, but I could use a drink as well. I'm still holding their hand, by the way. Yeah, I'm still holding their hand, by the way.

Timothy (DM):

Yeah, would you like to move elsewhere for the time being?

Kai (Yonce):

Are there other rooms in the estate that caught your fancy? Are there any rooms that will allow some privacy between you and me as I bite my lip a little bit, but not in like a gross way, but like in a little privacy.

Timothy (DM):

Honestly, there's rarely ever anyone outside on the balcony.

Kai (Yonce):

Well, lead the way.

Timothy (DM):

So he will stand up, extend his hand to assist you from standing up from your throne and he will escort you down the hall, past the string octet and out to the balcony. It is a cool, quiet evening, a light breeze. This is a fictional environment, a fantasy, magic generated environment.

Russell (Upri):

There are no windows into the war room. From that point of view, there are no Correct.

Timothy (DM):

There is a series of fountains outsides who hear the sounds of the water trickling and there's like one or two other guests getting like a breath of fresh air out there. They spend some time kind of off in their own corner of the balcony.

Kai (Yonce):

I look at them and give them a little head nod, shoot, but I don't say it.

Timothy (DM):

I'm like yeah, give me a persuasion check.

Kai (Yonce):

I should probably look at what my that's going to be pretty high. Yeah, it's a 12 plus 12 plus 4, so that's 16.

Timothy (DM):

Okay that's 16. So they do stall slightly, but then they exit and return to the estate. You're left on the balcony with just yourself and Percival the estates.

Kai (Yonce):

You're left on the balcony with just yourself and prezable um. I'm going to unhook from them and kind of walk around the fountains and like do it slow, while looking back at them very movie-like, um, and I'm gonna say to them I didn't know what to expect getting to know you tonight, but the more I get to know you, the more I'm fascinated by you as he begins to respond, he begins to figure eight with you around the fountains, again very movie like.

Timothy (DM):

And each time you pass a fountain and your eyes can meet again he begins to have a conversation with you. Well, I can say I also share your sentiments. I have been pleasantly surprised.

Kai (Yonce):

I will say I'm not used to opening myself up in this way, opening myself up in this way, but hopefully there'll be more nights like this, probably with less extravagant clothing. This is not how I like to present myself normally. Tight clothing, yes, but fancy no.

Russell (Upri):

Hmm.

Timothy (DM):

I wonder if that inclination will fade with time. What inclination? There's a power behind how one chooses to present themselves? I would know this more than any.

Kai (Yonce):

I do feel like sometimes, when people dress so extravagantly, it's just hiding something on the inside, and I'm more of an open book. What you see is what you get, which is probably why I'm so refreshing to you. I don't think you deal with many people like me in your circles.

Timothy (DM):

Give me a persuasion, check Jesus.

Kai (Yonce):

It's a 13. Okay.

Russell (Upri):

Hmm.

Timothy (DM):

While you have pleasantly surprised me with a wonderful evening thus far, I can't say that this is intended to go much further. You see, I must maintain my own image dear.

Kai (Yonce):

That's fair, and if tonight is the only night that we have together, then let's make it count somehow. I suppose we will I'm gonna hide mine everyone do you want me to kill that motherfucker?

Timothy (DM):

I'll kill that motherfucker so as and as he's smiling and you, you have made another figure eight with him. You do see through the windows into the estate, a tiefling muscular wearing a Not Salvador, wearing a not salvador, wearing a golden rams mask, standing across from the octet, holding a tray with a scroll on it. They're wearing a tuxedo, a tuxedo that matches the other servers present here at the party.

Kai (Yonce):

I'm going to. I'm still going to continue to hive mine and be like hey guys, I don't know how to get this man's money. But also there's something I haven't told y'all, and I explained to them everything everything that's a lot to explain oh

Timothy (DM):

look who's chilling in the sex room, and I get this like this drama text yeah, you've walked into waterworks and you're just like what, that's a lot this is the person that you made a deal with, your transgressor yes, I'm.

Kai (Yonce):

I'm conflicted um Multiple reasons right now One with this Percy fella and two whether or not I should go through with it, Knowing the information.

Timothy (DM):

I now know Percy pulls you closer.

Kai (Yonce):

I gasp.

Timothy (DM):

He meets eyes to eyes with you.

Kai (Yonce):

I have mine Hold on one second, I look them in the eye and I go in for a kiss.

Timothy (DM):

He returns in kind. I go in for a kiss.

Dan (Wren):

Ooh, he returns Eee In kind and scaly dragonborn lips you feel his scaly lips Trying to crush you Sounds like a maraca.

Kai (Yonce):

Rushing against yours. Let me have this moment.

Timothy (DM):

Begins to throw himself wholeheartedly into the action. Do you follow suit?

Kai (Yonce):

I'm such a horny little bitch.

Timothy (DM):

yes, and thus ensues a raunchy makeout session. Nice, good for you. Do you continue to have your high-five conversation during this?

Kai (Yonce):

I did say hold, please, I'm not going to shut them out, but I definitely am not Actively. I can hear that If they're going to say something I will hear them, but I'm kind of preoccupied. I can hear, if they're going to say something, I will hear them, but I'm kind of preoccupied, I can't talk right now physically, but I do.

Kai (Yonce):

Is there a bench or a chair? Yes, so I want to put them on the bench and I'm going to face them in a way where I can see the mask person, but I am going to. I'm going to face them in a way where I can see the mask person, but I am going to straddle them and hell, yeah, yeah yeah, and I'm just gonna say just so you know, this doesn't have to be just for tonight.

Kai (Yonce):

You may think it is what you may think it is, but less to say I'm a bad bitch.

Timothy (DM):

I say that a lot more smoothly and that, my dear, is why it will be just for tonight. I can't have you getting confused fuck this guy.

Dan (Wren):

Fuck this guy such.

Kai (Yonce):

Fuck this guy.

Dan (Wren):

Such a big ick.

Kai (Yonce):

This is giving me some trauma, reminding me of some people.

Russell (Upri):

I mean what Don't?

Kai (Yonce):

do that, then if this is only going to be for one night, let's make this a little bit more interesting and what do you? Propose I start taking off my my clothes. See, you are a betting man. C, you are a betting man so let's make one more bet.

Russell (Upri):

I'm all ears. I hide mine.

Chris (Salvador):

I don't know what to do you proposed a bet without having an idea for what the bet would be.

Dan (Wren):

We collectively collect. We think of a bet really quick.

Russell (Upri):

A bet.

Timothy (DM):

As Yonce is taking their clothes off on the balcony you will have to come up with a bet.

Dan (Wren):

What would you bet? Alternatively, I could give sage advice over the intercom to give you proficiency in persuasion.

Russell (Upri):

Oh, are you going to be proficiency in titling his diddle?

Dan (Wren):

I mean, I could do that too.

Russell (Upri):

But I don't know who can last the longest.

Kai (Yonce):

That's honestly what I was thinking.

Russell (Upri):

Make it a competition Stamina.

Dan (Wren):

No, it's constitution. I can't give advice on a constitution.

Chris (Salvador):

I mean, I could do enhanceability, but I don't know if I have to see you or not.

Dan (Wren):

I could give you a sleight of hand. Oh my god.

Kai (Yonce):

What I'm going to say, Wait would that work.

Timothy (DM):

For what? What are we going to do with the sleight of hand? Oh, I think there are plenty of things. You could do with sleight of hand oh my God, this is not for children.

Dan (Wren):

Yes, Viewer discretion advised, we won't go into details, but there are plenty of things you could do with sleight of hand to win the who Comes First bet. Yeah.

Kai (Yonce):

I'm going to say, because that was the idea I was going with.

Timothy (DM):

I didn't know if it was too raunchy. We can fade to black, do a roll and fade to black.

Kai (Yonce):

What I was gonna say is let's see which one of us is going to last longer. First one to yield using. You know what I mean I'm not done. First one to yield using. You know what I mean. I'm not done. First one to yield has to grant the other person whatever they want.

Timothy (DM):

And what is it that you want?

Kai (Yonce):

See, it's no fun if I tell you right now you are a betting man and the thrill of losing equals the thrill of winning.

Dan (Wren):

Are you going to be a Fyndom from the shadows? Is that what we're getting towards?

Timothy (DM):

Canonically, we've establish that king. So the risk of um, yeah, okay, so I'm gonna let you do a persuasion check with advantage for this deal, and then you are going to um, yeah, we, we'll go from there.

Kai (Yonce):

Oh, one's a 19. Um, all right 19. Oh sorry, oh, one's a 19 plus four is 23.

Dan (Wren):

All right, and then can I assist. Yeah, so you have a deal. Um, how much do I know about dragonborn physiology? Can I make a medicine check?

Timothy (DM):

you're gonna just describe yeah, yeah, where's the dragonborn g spot.

Dan (Wren):

Yeah, uh-huh. No, a hundred percent.

Timothy (DM):

The dragon suit, oh my gosh, give me a what do you even roll with that?

Dan (Wren):

in my mind it's medicine. It's by anatomy. Oh my gosh, Give me a. What even role would that be? In my mind it's medicine, it's by anatomy.

Timothy (DM):

Give me a medicine role. That's a 32.

Russell (Upri):

You know exactly where that G-spot is, and then I'm going to give sage advice about sleight of hand. And I won't go into more details.

Dan (Wren):

But that is the string of things, and I will cut you two out, if you would so desire.

Chris (Salvador):

I'm sticking my head right up next to the harp. I'm listening.

Kai (Yonce):

Oh my God, You're hearing me do my thing.

Dan (Wren):

And it's so. I mean you could cut off. It's so prescriptive, like the way I described it. The way I describe it because I don't have those urges to have so. I literally talk about the physiology of how to make a dragonborn come.

Kai (Yonce):

That's just possible.

Timothy (DM):

Does that give advantage?

Dan (Wren):

No, that just means you get to add your proficiency bonus to your sleight of hand, if that's what you choose to use.

Timothy (DM):

Add a proficiency and then give me a constitution. Save as well.

Russell (Upri):

What is my?

Kai (Yonce):

So my proficiency bonus is four. What am I supposed to be rolling? Sleight of hand, that's a six.

Russell (Upri):

but I'm gonna.

Kai (Yonce):

Plus four is ten. I'm gonna use my pack of the Talisman, so that's thirteen Plus your dex.

Dan (Wren):

So if you go to sleight of hand on your ability sheet, it should add your dex Like what's your plus there.

Kai (Yonce):

It's three.

Dan (Wren):

Three plus four, which is your proficiency bonus. So what is that? Six plus three?

Kai (Yonce):

Nine Should be sixteen.

Dan (Wren):

Plus four.

Kai (Yonce):

Oh, so 16, yeah.

Timothy (DM):

That's pretty good you want to lock that in.

Chris (Salvador):

You got so many of those.

Kai (Yonce):

No, I'm going to lock it in. I think I'm confident.

Dan (Wren):

You're confident I'm not going to say anything.

Kai (Yonce):

Also, as I'm doing this, I'm looking at the person with the mask. Since my transgressor is a seven-day-at-least-sans, might as well show them lust.

Chris (Salvador):

Oh, my goodness.

Russell (Upri):

Is that?

Kai (Yonce):

inspirational. Did you want another one? I?

Chris (Salvador):

was just like why are you?

Dan (Wren):

staying off into the distance, we'll get to that later.

Timothy (DM):

Let's do this roll. Alright, he's gonna do a constitution, save I rolled a two yes um, he does not last long at all. I figured as such um at all, oh my gosh, and he is like kind of embarrassed by it.

Dan (Wren):

It's like right behind the tail, if you just.

Timothy (DM):

But I don't that leads into his excitement and pleasure from the situation I.

Kai (Yonce):

I think he he likes to be humiliated too wow I'm not gonna make him feel guilty about it, but I am oh, I'm just gonna like throw my hair back and be and like kiss him on the neck and be like it looks like you lost but but also won at the same time.

Timothy (DM):

Oh, I am a man of my word. Hell yeah, what did I just lose?

Kai (Yonce):

We, I've come to this town with a group of friends and there's a war coming, just like you did, um, and we need unlimited financial support in that battle. And the thing is, you said you're a man of your word, so you can't say no.

Timothy (DM):

You said you're a man of your word so you can't say no, never did. I think I would be hands-tied do-gooder, but you have my pocketbook.

Kai (Yonce):

Don't worry, I'll make this worth your while. Care for a round two.

Dan (Wren):

Actually, don't? You got a goat to see.

Russell (Upri):

Yeah, there's a man who holds up his wrist. He's like tap, tap, tap Come on.

Kai (Yonce):

I want to. I want to point. I'm going to look at Percival, I need to powder my nose. Um, how about you clean yourself off and we meet. We meet in the um art exhibit room in 10 minutes 20. I don't know how long it takes for you to get. Come out your scales. I, I don't know.

Timothy (DM):

I'll see you there.

Kai (Yonce):

Okay, perfect, I'm going to put it back on my clothes and walk away and I'm just going to be like guys I chose the wrong profession. Well done, thank you.

Timothy (DM):

You come back next week as midnight.

Russell (Upri):

Exactly, exactly, alright.

Timothy (DM):

So we are going to transition back to that worked well. Where did we leave everybody? Dan's done with his task. So am I Yancey's done with his task? Yeah, let's Yeah't. We were pretty short with uh salvador over there, oh, but timing wise, nope, timing wise, it would be upbrae because you're spending a lot of time meditating and shit sure blocking out uh telecom learning how not to be an anxious bitch what I'm not anxious nervous, nervous you can cut us off whenever you want.

Dan (Wren):

Yeah, it's over that connection.

Timothy (DM):

All right. So, upray, you're in the war room with duke thrain ironheart. He has locked the doors behind you. There are no windows to this room. It is lit by several torches around the room and it is a heavy blackwood table in the center of the room and onyx statues all around the room. The stone floor is black, the walls are painted black with a? Um black trim, um, and then the stained glass is red so that it just illuminates off of all of those reflective surfaces.

Russell (Upri):

Uh, hi brainy surfaces. Hi Brainy, what you doing over there?

Timothy (DM):

I figured this should be best had behind closed doors.

Kai (Yonce):

You hear moaning? I'm kidding.

Russell (Upri):

Alright, alright.

Timothy (DM):

You are impressive.

Russell (Upri):

As are you.

Timothy (DM):

Not many have bested me In one-on-one combat.

Russell (Upri):

Wow, you really love those consonants. You came here for something.

Timothy (DM):

Maybe. Wow, you really love those consonants. You came here for something, maybe. Now I have noticed your tactics are different, different, but I do respect one that can throw down on the battlefield.

Russell (Upri):

Yeah, I'm pretty good at throwing stuff.

Timothy (DM):

So let's cut the words and the diplomacy and have a hash out what do you want?

Russell (Upri):

Your armies and the battle to come. You can do all the management, but I want them to help us save the world.

Russell (Upri):

Hmm.

Timothy (DM):

Interesting, interesting. Asking for an army is quite a lofty ask. If you weren't so powerful I'd laugh in your face, okay, but anyone that can command a sword like that is worth listening to in my book.

Russell (Upri):

Oh, okay.

Timothy (DM):

Do you think this war is worth fighting and do you think it's worth winning?

Russell (Upri):

it's worth winning.

Timothy (DM):

She pauses for a moment as she hears how you make a dragonborn come. Now because for me the order has this under control, this pesky mage problem.

Russell (Upri):

So when you say the Order, you mean Preya and Prabodhana.

Timothy (DM):

Yes, yes. Now what benefit would we have getting ourselves involved in their little squabble? The church fights for dominance. I say let the mages whittle them down so we can take back what is ours.

Russell (Upri):

Yeah, that sounds good.

Timothy (DM):

So what are you suggesting my armies do?

Russell (Upri):

I mean, yeah, if you're gonna wipe out the Christians.

Russell (Upri):

The Predabin. You're gonna wipe out the.

Russell (Upri):

Christians, you're going to wipe out the Order. That works for me. Oh, we will not. I'm not following.

Timothy (DM):

I represent Galadia.

Russell (Upri):

The armies of Galadia when is that on the map again?

Timothy (DM):

It's the east side, they're the neighboring country. All right all right, the Order and the Apostates are in a war. Is that the war you're suggesting we enter?

Russell (Upri):

No, a bunch of things are going to come out of the void and try to kill the world, so we should stop that what do you mean by that? Uh guys, what do I mean by that?

Dan (Wren):

you just hear dragonborn orgasm and you just want to tickle the tail right at the end.

Chris (Salvador):

There's a nerve that so the order is falsely claiming that the apostates are causing all this havoc when there's something else at hand that is beyond either of the two groups.

Russell (Upri):

Ah, we'll relay that the order's goals are false or their claims and like reveal the truth, if you will.

Timothy (DM):

And do you have proof of this?

Chris (Salvador):

There's a whole cult that we have information on that has been summoning this void.

Russell (Upri):

Yeah, I mean, I've seen it. I've been there a while, I can do special things.

Dan (Wren):

Didn't um, didn't one of the like Galadian cities get like overrun by void creatures?

Timothy (DM):

Yeah, yeah, but they think that's all the apostates.

Russell (Upri):

Oh, the apostates trying to stop that in all the apostates oh, the apostates are trying to stop that. In all the scenes.

Dan (Wren):

The silence, right the silence.

Russell (Upri):

The silence? Are the people trying to usher it in because they think that, like once we're all part of the void or something we'll be happy? I don't know. I think the older I get, the more I just kind of realize that everyone should have got therapy when they were really young.

Timothy (DM):

What's therapy?

Russell (Upri):

I don't really know. I don't know why I said that.

Timothy (DM):

This is interesting information. I'm unsure what to do with it.

Chris (Salvador):

Tell them you were in um Harrow. You were there whenever the city fell, so you know more information about what you're up against.

Russell (Upri):

Oh, okay. So I'll just tell them of the fall of Harrow and what we did, the face fuckers, um, and all that stuff.

Dan (Wren):

I tell them of the titans of arcanist and the cycle, blah, blah, blah because if he's a commander of ingalady, he probably fought at that city that fell I don't remember the name of the city and then he probably saw similar oh, so the recounting is going to be like the same yeah, I imagine, and then I'll try to like argue that like, if you don't do something, the world's gonna cease to exist and you won't even have an army anyway give me a persuasion do we have a minute for me to say?

Russell (Upri):

just kidding, what's my bonus? I think it's a plus zero.

Timothy (DM):

Come on 15 all right, he seems somewhat amenable. If what you say is true, I can have my counsel assess the situation. Where can they find you once their assessment is complete? At Daphne's. Alright, you're able to give me Daphne's address.

Dan (Wren):

I'll describe where it is but I don't know what the address is. It's the one squat house.

Russell (Upri):

Yeah, you walk out here, you fly by that one tower that's leaning a little bit to the left, and then there's that tree that has the wonky little branch.

Timothy (DM):

If I could position my armies as the saviors of the people. Yeah, If I could position my armies as the Saviors of the people.

Russell (Upri):

Yeah, yeah.

Timothy (DM):

That does make this a little bit more enticing, glory.

Russell (Upri):

Yeah, honor, glory, Not to mention all the money that those rich saps that can't fight for shit are gonna throw at you. You could establish a new government really.

Timothy (DM):

You see a little crack in his smile.

Russell (Upri):

You could be the great uniter.

Chris (Salvador):

That's so good Such a negotiator.

Russell (Upri):

Think of yeah, you could be a legend in history for the next thousand years.

Timothy (DM):

I appreciate you coming to me with this. Do you enjoy the rest of the party? Oh, we're not going to have any fun. He looks at you a little confused. Are you gay?

Russell (Upri):

Are you gay? Are you gay?

Timothy (DM):

No, what would ever give you that impression?

Russell (Upri):

I don't know. You said something about sticks earlier. I think I was kind of hoping we would throw down after throwing down.

Timothy (DM):

You're an interesting woman, uprie, but I have very little idea what you are talking about. My council will visit you in the next couple days, thank you have a good day.

Russell (Upri):

I don't know and I'm gonna walk out do you say cigarette as you're walking out?

Kai (Yonce):

no, alright, do you?

Russell (Upri):

say cigarette as you're walking? No, alright.

Timothy (DM):

So we are going to go on a short little break before pivoting back to Salvador. Dream world, alright. See you in 10 minutes.

Russell (Upri):

Bye, alright we are back and we are going to be minutes.

Timothy (DM):

Bye, alright, we are back and we are going to be paying a little visit to the lilac room, sally Poo.

Chris (Salvador):

That's me.

Timothy (DM):

So, salvador, you've been chilling.

Chris (Salvador):

Somebody's been giving me a back massage.

Timothy (DM):

Yes, oh, there's a lot of attendants in this room that are just there Like masseuse People pouring you tea. There's a lot of servers and stuff. Oh, just as everybody is aware, you have noticed a couple of the Secret Secretary Society members milling about throughout the estate since you've been here as servers.

Russell (Upri):

Yes.

Timothy (DM):

So they have been wearing their little tuxedos, walking around with trays, bringing drinks, drinks, cleaning up after the guests, all of those types of tasks. So you have kind of seen them, glimpses of them, as you've been here. So Izzled and Salvador have been learning how to relax Salvador, relax Salvador, unclench your jaw my dear Ooh, damn yeah. I did it. You don't have to tell me every time you do it, I can see it. You haven't have to tell me every time you do it, I can see it.

Chris (Salvador):

You haven't let go yet it has just been such a busy time and we just had that big battle in the arena not two weeks ago. Compartmentalize that's what I do best.

Timothy (DM):

Yeah, would you like medicinal assistance?

Chris (Salvador):

It is the 20th of April.

Timothy (DM):

That is true. That is true. It always helps those who are newer to the techniques.

Chris (Salvador):

Then yes, by all means means.

Timothy (DM):

I want to make this as simple as possible she pulls out a little like cigarette case and she opens it and there are several pills inside, along with a blunt.

Chris (Salvador):

I'm familiar with this from pills, inside along with a blunt. I'm not familiar with this from Daphne's. I take the blunt and I ignite it. I do a special trick I snap my finger because I can cast prestidigitation with my ring and I light it up and I very chilly, very coolly, very nonchalantly inhale on this spliff yeah, do you want to give me a performance check?

Kai (Yonce):

not sal being the coolest out of all four of us I want to touch myself and give myself enhanceability oh oh wow, I you know what I mean oh, no, salvador knows what he's doing.

Timothy (DM):

You said, this is a performance check.

Chris (Salvador):

Yeah, okay I, I forget. I think I get advantage on charisma checks for the next hour, so that's a 16 or that's a 16.

Timothy (DM):

You look pretty chill, nice I feel like your hands are like this yeah.

Timothy (DM):

I'm definitely 1990s b-boy pose Vibe, check passed. Vibe check passed. And after letting you take a couple puffs of the blunt, she smiles and she nods and she goes. Now I think you're ready. I wink. She pulls out a little bell and she begins to ring it very gently and rhythmically, just slow rings, ding, ding, ding, ding. And she continues this for a while, just drawing your attention to the singular, subtle, resonant tone, as if pulling you into a trance. And then you get the subtle scent of huckleberry, sweet floral, and you and you see this pink kind of cloud begin to surround the two of you and the room begins to fade away. At first it fades into a kind of foggy pink slate and then the two of you are standing amidst this fog. You can see yourself as if you're hovering maybe six feet above.

Timothy (DM):

Good good, good, good, just follow me, and she begins to walk into the thick of this cloud. I grab her hand and she gently tugs you along slowly. I grab her hand and she gently tugs you along Slowly, gracefully fluid-like. She's almost floating into the thickness. Why are you raising your hand?

Russell (Upri):

Because I have a question I didn't want to interrupt Okay.

Timothy (DM):

Yes, what's your question? Do we?

Dan (Wren):

lose connection with Sal.

Chris (Salvador):

Yeah, though you don't know whether that's because of the dragon cum talk or not.

Kai (Yonce):

That was way too far.

Timothy (DM):

Oh, that was very butch, sorry salvador, please describe a dream that you begin to have as the two of you walk into this fog.

Chris (Salvador):

So as the cloud of pink fog sort of dissipates and more, you can see slightly through the fog some outlines of figures, some silhouettes. You see there is a variety of people sort of spinning in dance form. Sort of spinning in dance form, sort of like you know those mechanical clocks where people will. They're just different platforms of dancers spinning. There's people dipping, but they're life size and you see, as these dancers and their plates sort of spin, it's as if they're on a track that's weaving in between each other. And you see, these are not just generic people that are dressed up for a ball, but they have particular faces. You see there's one of Upri and she's dancing with a dwarf, and you see one of Ren and he's dancing with a multitude of people at the same time, did you?

Dan (Wren):

just call me a slut yeah.

Chris (Salvador):

This is the dream Better Polly.

Kai (Yonce):

Yes, it could be mutually exclusive.

Chris (Salvador):

Ariana grande but yeah, in the distance you hear sort of a mixture of not only the, the harp music that was in the in the soliloquy room, but also like a uh, an erratic undertone of like a drum that's being beat by like a mile away and he says to his old, he says his old. What is this, first of all? First off, I love the pink theming of it is very subtle, it's very, uh, suitable. Um, is this playing on subconscious or is this something else?

Timothy (DM):

well, this is your dreamscape, my dear.

Chris (Salvador):

Oh, interesting, this is your subconscious creating a fantasy, so it seems like it's pulling upon surface thoughts right now. From my experience with the dreamer before this can be anything, so I imagine a six foot tall cake.

Timothy (DM):

And slowly. At first you see a shadow of a cake and it struggles to pull into vision for a moment. Before then you find a cake right in front of you, almost tangible, very good. Usually the control takes a while to muster.

Chris (Salvador):

It's not my first rodeo with illusory objects or sleeping Swag.

Timothy (DM):

Well the dreams tend to unlock much of what your heart truly desires much of what your heart truly desires, but it's the interpretation of such that becomes difficult. If one can navigate their own dreamscape, they can begin to ask those questions, push deeper for unanswers and piece together the parts of the puzzle that often remain clouded and forgotten when you awake.

Chris (Salvador):

That is always the hardest part of having a dream, unless you record it immediately.

Timothy (DM):

This is the benefit of lucid dreaming, the technique that I have taught others in my travels across this realm, others in my travels across this realm, and I've found that it helps understand oneself to be decisive because otherwise you lose eight hours of the day with nothing.

Chris (Salvador):

You're basically using all hours of the day to not only lay out everything that you've worked through, but also try to gain some additional oomph in analyzing it.

Timothy (DM):

Don't make it seem like such work Damn. Let the work Damn. Let the work fade away and let the visions come to you.

Chris (Salvador):

I inhale and I exhale, ah, and, and I think about what's this all really about? Why are we here, not not as old and I, but the the group in a sense, but then, on the larger scale, why? Yes, it could be sorry all the whispering I'm gonna pass oh yeah, it is very, very synomilatory, but yes, thinking on this whole cycle nonsense being mixed up with Primordials and Titans, I imagine what I think they look like the dreamer, the transgressor, the assimilator, the director, etc. Etc good morning is it morning already?

Timothy (DM):

for some.

Chris (Salvador):

It's been so long since we've talked.

Timothy (DM):

It has. I've been sleeping.

Chris (Salvador):

Were you in charge of that big dream battle? I think you said that you did that when we fought Nim, when we avoided that battle in reality.

Timothy (DM):

Hmm, yes, that was me, I had forgotten about that. What a passing moment.

Chris (Salvador):

I imagine you have a lot of those.

Timothy (DM):

Why yes? However, I think I recall a question.

Chris (Salvador):

Do you want me to restate it? Please do? I was wondering what this all meant and why we were here, or there might have been another question you were hinting at, and I'm just full of them.

Timothy (DM):

Oh, why. Why? In what context?

Chris (Salvador):

Well, we know that Uppery made a deal with your sibling.

Timothy (DM):

Hmm, yes, the director.

Chris (Salvador):

Yes, did Yonce say. I can't remember. If you said that you told us about um the trans, the transgressor, did you say that over the intercom?

Kai (Yonce):

yeah, I did. I when I trauma, dumped everything. Gotcha say that I did it.

Chris (Salvador):

I recently learned that the transgressor also came to yonce with a, with a deal, and I imagine you're following suit.

Timothy (DM):

My siblings have been busy while I slumbered. No matter, yes, yes, salvador, I do come to you with a little deal of my own. What do? I look like.

Chris (Salvador):

Uh, I imagine, as he, as they say that sentence, that emerging from the mist or like forming like the cake did, there is a five foot ten person, a tiefling with long hair. They start to formulate out of the mist and they have pale, pale white skin, like snow white skin.

Timothy (DM):

You see, they appear in front of you and Isolde and they begin to inspect their hands. They stroke the hair hanging from their head. Oh, this is interesting. I quite like what you've done this is interesting.

Chris (Salvador):

I quite like what you've done. It can be anything you want in this world. You taught me that.

Timothy (DM):

I did yes, but not only here. Salvador, the world is your oyster, I can show you the world is your oyster.

Chris (Salvador):

I can show you the world yeah, she is where her seashells appear on her brassiere that's an Aladdin reference hey, this is a cross.

Kai (Yonce):

Anything can happen in dream world a mermaid can fly on a magic carpet yeah, it's a flying fish and like.

Timothy (DM):

As these thoughts are racing through your mind, you do see them straight just fish are flying, yeah, yeah just little things are catching your attention and you notice the dreamer is distracted by them just momentarily before they turn back to you and they go. I do love the material nature of your world. It's so different from mine.

Chris (Salvador):

But there are consequences to being material.

Timothy (DM):

Yes, the rules are harder to break, but I quite like that. It gives a bit of challenge.

Chris (Salvador):

And structure, because otherwise not having rules it kind of stifles creativity sometimes, when you can imagine anything, is that what I've been? Feeling Stifled, stifled, stifled would make sense, since you were locked away and they stretch their arms out.

Timothy (DM):

you hear their bones crack as they pop their wrists and their fingers Stifled. Yes, oh, Salvador, I do want out of here.

Chris (Salvador):

I bet you do. Will you help?

Timothy (DM):

me.

Chris (Salvador):

You know, I've been hearing a lot of things that that's not such a great idea.

Timothy (DM):

And why is that?

Chris (Salvador):

Something about the world being consumed, people being obliterated.

Kai (Yonce):

Got him.

Timothy (DM):

That's one option.

Chris (Salvador):

I imagine you're proposing something different where that doesn't happen. Anything can be what your heart makes it.

Timothy (DM):

Well, yes, of course, if you let me out, I'll show you the way. It's pretty vague. What's a world to your design, salvador?

Chris (Salvador):

well, how much time would do we have? I I visualize three chairs, or one, one shay and two chairs, yes, is old needs a shed she could not be sitting upright she's like what is this? Yeah, what is this chair nonsense I wow, while this is happening, I I am sort of visualizing what had been in the lilac room. So there's a shade, there's a harpist that is underscoring this uh music, but also there's a. There's a saxist that is underscoring this music, but also there's a saxophonist, kenny G.

Chris (Salvador):

Yeah yeah, yeah. So I sit down, I sit and I motion for the dreamer to sit in the chair. So if I had to envision a world to my liking, honestly there wouldn't be the cycle to begin with. I know there's this whole nonsense that I don't really understand with the Primordials and subsequently the Titans and the whole cycle, and we're supposed to be coming up with a solution to that and honestly, I would like to remove you and the Primordials from the whole equation. I know that's in direct conflict with you being material and everything, but you could be material. I know you've been wanting to try that out. You could be whatever you want.

Chris (Salvador):

You wouldn't have to fight with your siblings anymore. I know you do that every thousand years and it's always a draw.

Timothy (DM):

They lilt a little bit and they go Well. I think I can manage something similar, Though there are limitations. I myself am not a primordial, I know. They unfortunately hold the keys and we're all Manifest of their whim. So what are the conditions? Conditions are you? Let me out and we create a little corner for ourselves to play.

Chris (Salvador):

The phrasing of that is suspect.

Timothy (DM):

Well, I won't lie to you, salvador. I am limited in the extent of consciousness that I can pluck from creation, but I believe I can do enough to at least give you a veil of reality ooh a veil.

Chris (Salvador):

you know I have some bad history with that word, but this seems, on its face, quite similar to the other deals that have been offered by your siblings. Where you resurrect one that's lost, you pluck a family out of the timeline. I imagine you would do something similar where, if I say, oh, upper your yonsei ren, and this assorted uh list of close friends and family and other celebrities might be pulled away into a, a pocket realm that is spared from destruction, would you say Precisely Interesting.

Timothy (DM):

If my siblings were easier to work with, we'd have done more.

Chris (Salvador):

Why do you guys fight so much?

Timothy (DM):

You're an only child, you wouldn't understand. You know that's so much. You're an only child, you wouldn't understand.

Chris (Salvador):

You know, that is so true.

Kai (Yonce):

Got him.

Timothy (DM):

Often, I find it, when you have a will to persuade, it creates complications. Objects are so much more simple, but the fact of the matter is, my dear. Should you refuse this deal, we will come regardless.

Chris (Salvador):

I know Alice is a wild card. You know, alice, you won't be protected you do make a strong point. Well, this has been a lovely face-to-face. It's been some time. I look to his old. What do you think about this?

Timothy (DM):

she perks up. She had been kind of nodding off in the dream world.

Dan (Wren):

Inception shit.

Chris (Salvador):

Everything that we see or seem is but a dream within a dream.

Timothy (DM):

And she goes oh this is an interesting use of lucid dreaming.

Chris (Salvador):

I imagine this is a conversation that you've been trying to debate yes, it's been puzzling me, so just hashing out some of the options here, odd so just hashing out some of the options here. Odd, this feels different how does it normally go, this old?

Timothy (DM):

oh, it's usually pieces of random ramblings of the mind being pushed around, not something so coherent.

Chris (Salvador):

Gotcha, you had mentioned manifesting things right out of this world, or was that mixing up with what the dreamer was saying?

Timothy (DM):

Isolde, yeah, no she just lucid dreams?

Chris (Salvador):

Gotcha Understood.

Timothy (DM):

She has no idea. Lucid dreams, gotcha Understood. She has no idea what you're talking about.

Dan (Wren):

This bitch just gets high and falls asleep, and she has some wild lucid dreams and she can just take people with her. That's her shtick, that's her shtick, she just dreams.

Timothy (DM):

She lucid dreams with people. It's basically akin to what daphne does, except she's she's diving into her psyche and not prophecy. Got it, got it got it.

Russell (Upri):

Oh yeah, well dreams and wits are rough.

Chris (Salvador):

They are every yeah, um, yeah. Well, thank you for this. I I think I'll deliberate and I'll get back to you. I say to the dreamer and I walk over to his old and I hold her hand and I say I think we should head back to solid ground oh, of course, I hope this was fruitful more than you can ever imagine as pieces of fruit visualize out of thin air. I hope this was fruitful.

Timothy (DM):

More than you can ever imagine, as pieces of fruit visualize out of the net. Yeah, they do. And she begins to walk you back out of the cloud of pink mist and you find yourself laying on the sheds next to her in the estate.

Chris (Salvador):

That was such fun. I do feel more relaxed now that you mention it. Wonderful.

Timothy (DM):

I'm glad I could help. Please do feel free to reach out to me if you ever have need for guidance or would like to practice again.

Chris (Salvador):

I feel that will be a valuable skill.

Timothy (DM):

And I shake her hand as you are shaking her hand. You look to the coffee table next to you and you see an hourglass filled with sand.

Chris (Salvador):

Oh no, it's a timed offer.

Kai (Yonce):

Quick time event press X oh, this is fun.

Timothy (DM):

Yonce, let's give you a visit no, we don't have to, so you're on the balcony.

Kai (Yonce):

I'm kind of exhausted, yeah and you've just finished covered no, I made sure I directed that stream on them and left.

Timothy (DM):

Percival on the balcony and you've re-entered the estate. So you've re-entered the estate. So you're currently, by the String Octet, across from the tiefling in the golden ram's mask.

Kai (Yonce):

Hello there. Oh, hello, hello there oh, hello, nope, I do not like that bonjour.

Timothy (DM):

I can dial it back it's good to see you again.

Kai (Yonce):

I wish I could say the same um.

Russell (Upri):

I wish I could say the same Um.

Kai (Yonce):

I wish I could say the same, but bonjour.

Timothy (DM):

So, as you're saying that he takes, he goes to take off the mask and he begins to talk. Walk around you and you see that his face begins to shape, shift and his form begins to shift and you're reminded of someone you've met before. His sepia skin is a stark contrast in definition to the dark and uniformly trimmed stubble with a meticulous fade. His deep brown eyes lock with yours as a gentle smile initiates the rise of his left brow. He stands tall with his chest slightly puffed, lengthening his stature as if to stately present the embellishments of his embroidered overcoats. You've met this man before, only briefly, or at least this form, when you were in the void, the succubus Sorry, the void. I meant what I said all those years ago.

Russell (Upri):

It's funny because it's Harvey. What's his name? Gillian Gillian.

Timothy (DM):

No, that's not this one. Oh, he's not taking that form right now.

Kai (Yonce):

Oh is this Idris.

Timothy (DM):

Yes, this is Idris Elba oh. I haven't finished yet, so I guess I could have you decided to take the deal from our friend?

Kai (Yonce):

I don't bless you, I don't. It's very tempting, it truly is. But Would it really be much living if it's just me and my family plucked out of this existence while everyone else ceases to exist?

Russell (Upri):

Sorry what I love my family, but I don't want to spend eternity with them.

Russell (Upri):

That's what that's giving me, it's real.

Timothy (DM):

Let me let you in on a little secret. Yonce, not only was I honest about what I said all those years ago. I believe that there is more at play than you are seeing.

Kai (Yonce):

Do you care to fill me in sister?

Timothy (DM):

There are more options at carving out a larger corner of reality and I would join if you wanted me.

Kai (Yonce):

Roll initiation.

Timothy (DM):

I'm kidding as much as you feel this form is a lie, I'm genuine in my feelings. I'm genuine in my feelings.

Kai (Yonce):

I mean, when you presented this deal, I didn't realize that we were all part of some sort of person or entity. I'm conflicted because, truly, I want to save my family. I do, but at the cost of everyone else. I mean, and you're a great package and I look down wonderful package.

Timothy (DM):

You've met the transgressor right. Yes, you know, saying no will not give you positive results. Is accepting lesser really all that bad?

Kai (Yonce):

It sounds like you're not even giving me a choice, though.

Timothy (DM):

This is not mine To clarify. I'm just a messenger. But I can pass that on if you'd like.

Kai (Yonce):

It just also feels like I just can't, if feels hard to condemn one person, to let the transgressor into this world. If I remember correctly from unlock potential spell, the con condemnation spell, pass this information along. I don't know if I have a decision yet.

Timothy (DM):

I'll pass that along. Now, what about us? Ooh.

Kai (Yonce):

What about us?

Timothy (DM):

Do you foresee a opportunity? Do you foresee a opportunity?

Kai (Yonce):

If I didn't just fuck this dragonborn.

Timothy (DM):

Oh, I saw Quite a spectacle.

Kai (Yonce):

I know you see how great I am with my hands.

Timothy (DM):

And I can make those hands whatever you like.

Dan (Wren):

Chainsaw hands. That's what I thought.

Timothy (DM):

What a wild combination that could be no, no, no, no, no, no.

Kai (Yonce):

What does getting with you actually get?

Timothy (DM):

me well, me, of course. That is how relationships work. I'm asking you on a date, yonzo. Oh Wow, always an entertaining one.

Kai (Yonce):

But wait, aren't you not real? Wait, hold up pause.

Timothy (DM):

When was that ever established? I've told you from the beginning. I'm as real as I have told you.

Kai (Yonce):

The last time I saw this face, it was attached to a succubus.

Timothy (DM):

And that is what I am.

Russell (Upri):

That means they can make themselves look like whoever you want to fuck that day.

Timothy (DM):

I cannot deny my nature Yonce, Just as much as you cannot deny yours.

Kai (Yonce):

I am a power slut. That is correct. Um, you know what? I've never been on a date with this occupant, so why not fuck it yeah?

Timothy (DM):

Russell (Upri):

Wait, oil In hell. I'm so sorry, don't listen to me.

Kai (Yonce):

How about we have a date on this side first and then if everything?

Timothy (DM):

works out. Oh dear, you're much too busy. I don't want to take up your time.

Kai (Yonce):

I think we have a couple of episodes to figure that out. Episodes I'm like wait, why did to figure that out? Episodes? And I look, I'm like wait, why did I say that word?

Timothy (DM):

Oh gosh, if you insist, I'll see you in Terra Vast, tomorrow. Yes, noon.

Kai (Yonce):

So specific.

Timothy (DM):

I know, Okay, lunch at Zeska's.

Kai (Yonce):

Oh gosh, sure, the people want me this. Wow, okay, cool Bet.

Timothy (DM):

I will pass on your concerns to my employer.

Kai (Yonce):

Okay, I'm going to wipe some of this dragon cum off my hand.

Timothy (DM):

So bye. I beg you to reconsider though.

Kai (Yonce):

Washing my hands.

Timothy (DM):

The deal is.

Kai (Yonce):

Limited.

Timothy (DM):

Better than the alternatives.

Kai (Yonce):

I will seriously consider it.

Timothy (DM):

Have a wonderful evening, yonce, and I'll see you tomorrow. All right, I'll see you tomorrow. And he disappears in a swirl of flames and smoke.

Kai (Yonce):

Wow, so gaudy Ugh gosh in a swirl of flames and smoke. Wow, so gaudy Ugh. Gosh, I'm going to hive mine Guys.

Dan (Wren):

Yeah, what's up?

Kai (Yonce):

I explain everything.

Chris (Salvador):

You got a date.

Dan (Wren):

Wow.

Chris (Salvador):

And it's us, because that's a deep lore pool.

Kai (Yonce):

Sal, the point succubus, oh, the succubus Transgressor, yeah, yeah, yeah.

Dan (Wren):

Deal. So how are we getting to Terra Vos by tomorrow?

Chris (Salvador):

I can teleport baby, I got that magic hat.

Kai (Yonce):

Oh right, Okay you come back from the dream world. You get really.

Chris (Salvador):

I'm so. This is what relaxed Sal sounds like.

Timothy (DM):

And at this moment you hear Alice Perroque announced at the front door. Oh no, yancei. Moments after hearing her arrival, you see the doors open into the vestibule and you see Alice arrive with Daphne, cyril and Fredesla, fredesla.

Kai (Yonce):

Oh so I see, Guys, Upon seeing you, Yonce, oh so I see.

Timothy (DM):

Guys, Upon seeing you, Yonce Daphne gives you a little wave.

Kai (Yonce):

I wave back.

Timothy (DM):

Cyril comes over to greet you.

Kai (Yonce):

I walk back. I'm kidding.

Timothy (DM):

I walk forward and he takes your hands in his and he goes. Wonderful to see you looking so ravishing, my dear oh, thank you. You know, I'm a I'm a person did a good job oh yeah, I.

Kai (Yonce):

This is all natural beauty babes, babes how has the party been? Um, let's just say that it's been very exciting.

Timothy (DM):

It's been overflowing with excitement ah, and have you been successful thus far?

Kai (Yonce):

yes, as I wipe my sorry, there's a little crumb of some spanakopita there, but yes, I was pretty successful wonderful, and where are the others? That is a good question.

Russell (Upri):

Last time I saw upri was being pulled somewhere I walk out of the war room, I got an army bitches.

Dan (Wren):

I closed the door behind me well, there's upri I come out of the sex room, be like you don't want to go in there. Um, but we're good on the. I've got, I guess, a shady business lady.

Kai (Yonce):

A shady business lady. I guess that's Ren and I think.

Chris (Salvador):

Salvador is walking from the lilac room and he is so zen he's still wearing a kimono that he got from that lilac room and he walks out. He's got a bottle of champagne in his hand.

Kai (Yonce):

He's like oh and there goes, Sal, look at us, the gang's all here.

Timothy (DM):

Wonderful, so productive, everybody and only an hour in. Wow, I guess we can let loose and have fun time then yeah, let's get some.

Kai (Yonce):

Let's get some bard music playing um and uh where I mean.

Timothy (DM):

What would you like, all like to do, like you've accomplished your goals for this party? Salvador, daphne, alice or not, salvador?

Chris (Salvador):

Cyril.

Timothy (DM):

Cyril Daphne, alice Fredesli are all here and you're at a party. What are you all doing now?

Dan (Wren):

I'm hungry, I'm going to go get it. I'm going to go to the food room.

Chris (Salvador):

Exactly.

Russell (Upri):

Load up a plate.

Kai (Yonce):

Let's get some food, some drink.

Timothy (DM):

So you all meander towards the orange room where you see a long table overflowing with food Whole turkeys hams. I'm going to grab a ham, a whole ham just pick up the pig yeah ham side dishes, towers of jello and cakes and chocolates, cheese boards, towers of champagne flutes just this overly indulgent, spattering smorgasbord of food and drink.

Russell (Upri):

Yeah, I'm going to grab a spliff from Cyril.

Dan (Wren):

I was going to say Daphne, did you bring any?

Russell (Upri):

Yeah, and then I'm just going to fucking munch the fuck out and then, just like fade, into oblivion somewhere.

Kai (Yonce):

I'm good.

Russell (Upri):

I'm pretty.

Kai (Yonce):

I'm pretty, I'm pretty, do you?

Timothy (DM):

boys want me this evening.

Dan (Wren):

No one wanted me ham, well, you might want to try the purple room then, if that's what you wanted.

Russell (Upri):

I say mouthful ham right across the hall.

Dan (Wren):

Oh okay, just go take a peek.

Russell (Upri):

I'm gonna walk over with my ham in one hand and my joy in the other yeah, you peek in and it is a room full of debauchery.

Timothy (DM):

Oh, Abraham.

Russell (Upri):

And I walk in. I just disappear into the room fade to black.

Russell (Upri):

Fade to black. That's my evening. Bray has a great time.

Timothy (DM):

It's a situation where, if you are consenting and they're consenting, then you're consenting.

Kai (Yonce):

That's all we need to say about it. I'm going to be like I said. I would meet my date in the art gallery, so maybe I should join back with them. So y'all have fun, or maybe I'll bring them here.

Chris (Salvador):

We'll see how they're feeling. I mean, you probably need some nourishment after everything.

Kai (Yonce):

I mean, I'm fine, they're the one that was drained.

Chris (Salvador):

That's what I meant, yeah.

Kai (Yonce):

So I'm going to go see if Percy is in the art exhibit, I'll be, back or not, we'll see. All right, and I take off the heels off my shoes.

Timothy (DM):

I'll be back or not, we'll see.

Kai (Yonce):

All right, and I take off the heels off my shoes.

Timothy (DM):

I'm like I'm tired of these.

Kai (Yonce):

Barefoot.

Timothy (DM):

Start walking around barefoot. Oh my gosh. We're getting to that part of the night. Well, the length?

Kai (Yonce):

No, it says no, the heels have like a, the heels actually can detach.

Russell (Upri):

Yeah, oh they're magnetic A.

Kai (Yonce):

They're magnetic A modular shoe, exactly.

Russell (Upri):

There's commercials about them, yeah they exist.

Chris (Salvador):

Do they have?

Timothy (DM):

a flexible bottom then, so that they can be like Cause, like when you're wearing heels.

Kai (Yonce):

Suspension of disbelief. Baby Magic, magically flexible.

Chris (Salvador):

There are some.

Timothy (DM):

There are some heels. They're not very big.

Chris (Salvador):

They're maybe flexible. There are some heels. They're not very big, they're maybe like three inch heels, but you can put a false flat bottom on them. They're not completely flats, but they're closer to being flat.

Timothy (DM):

Interesting. That sounds fun.

Kai (Yonce):

I put the heels in my bag and I'm like you all have bags of Halde now.

Dan (Wren):

Oh right Every one of us.

Kai (Yonce):

So I throw it in there and I'm like I think I gave mine to Jan yes, I have two, but I left one at home. I don't need two right now. Um, I need to pick up my thousand gold when you leave, also when you leave yeah, that's true, so I'm gonna go to the art exhibit.

Timothy (DM):

Opry's in the sex dungeon With my ham.

Russell (Upri):

With your ham.

Timothy (DM):

Oh wow. What are Salvador and Wren doing?

Chris (Salvador):

I'm going to chat to Daphne about lucid dreaming.

Timothy (DM):

Okay, you have some conversations with Daphne about lucid dreaming and she's genuinely interested because, like this is, this is like a close area to her expertise, um, something that she herself has never really gotten into, um, but she does see a lot of value in it. Uh, what are you doing?

Dan (Wren):

is there a?

Timothy (DM):

dance floor. Um, there is like so the way that they like string octet region and the flute quartet region is that's kind of like the dance I want, like a bard core dance floor a bard core like get the trumpet players and and try to do a mix yeah, you could try to get the trumpeters in the pride room yeah, what?

Dan (Wren):

does the pride room just turn into a dance floor at some point? Or is it dueling all night?

Timothy (DM):

my god, I mean now that, um, now that percival and yancey are are not there, there's not really duels going on it was set up Just a boring room. Just a room set up for Percival and Percival alone.

Dan (Wren):

I'm going to get all of the musicians together to do some party dance music in the white room, so you just start going ham in the pride room.

Kai (Yonce):

No, the ham's in the sex room. The ham is in the sex room, that's right.

Dan (Wren):

I'll bring for Desly and Alice with. We'll all get high, okay.

Timothy (DM):

Fredesly and Alice. Okay, cool, cool, cool, cool. And then where are you? Are you talking to Daphne in the gluttony, or sorry?

Chris (Salvador):

Yeah, I the orange, room.

Timothy (DM):

I'll take her.

Chris (Salvador):

Yeah, we'll join that, but I'll take her back to the soliloquy. We were in the lilac room, the soliloquy lounge.

Timothy (DM):

Yeah, okay that seems her vibe. Yeah, yeah, she. She really likes that area, um, and she gets along really well with hazel. Yeah, um, they have a they have a similar vibe. They're both airy, kind of lost beings, wispies, yeah. So they're having a good, good, good, good time. So you're all just, yeah, having a good fucking evening at this masquerade ball when yeah, I know you all knew, knew that this was gonna happen, like we weren't surprised. Um, when In the middle, of the dance floor, a rift begins to open.

Dan (Wren):

Oh shit Alice.

Timothy (DM):

And Attendees begin to scream, so the rift crackles as this tear in space and time begins to part, and that is when you see a tentacle lash out towards Alice. Can you make me a dexterity? Save Ren.

Dan (Wren):

Yeah, I can sure try, oh 24.

Timothy (DM):

24. So I will let you react to this tentacle as you see it going straight for Alice. It's this slimy black oozy tentacle that you are so familiar with. These are the void creatures. They are here.

Dan (Wren):

And it's not like Alice is doing this. If I look at her, she's surprised.

Timothy (DM):

No, she's surprised and she lets out a gasp as the other audience or the other party attendees begin to scream and run about.

Dan (Wren):

I'm going to run up to her and grab her wrist and then invoke Nim's illusory self. So to like dodge, essentially, but illusion-wise, so like she remains, like an illusion of her remains there as we run.

Timothy (DM):

Oh, gorgeous, gorgeous, Gorgeous. Okay, so everybody roll initiative.

Dan (Wren):

I have no weapons everybody roll initiative I have no weapons.

Kai (Yonce):

I got a five.

Timothy (DM):

I got a dirty twenty, alright, dirty twenty Five, six, fifteen, fifteen. What's your dex modifier Salvador? Zero, gorgeous, alright, uh. What's your dex modifier salvador zero gorgeous, all right, so, ren, you were able to react as this is happening?

Dan (Wren):

um. Is there anything recognize the tendril as like the same form in when it comes to my melded molded forms? Um, as the tendril mommy, the tendril mommy uh, it's not the same creature, gotcha um, so I don't have innate advantage on it. No unfortunately.

Timothy (DM):

It's a similar type of thing, but you've come across lots of these various void creatures that all have tentacles.

Dan (Wren):

There are weapons in this room.

Timothy (DM):

Yeah, there are weapons in this room.

Dan (Wren):

Yeah, I will use my bonus action to analyze it.

Russell (Upri):

I'm going to pick up a weapon.

Dan (Wren):

Ideally a dagger or a short sword or something dexy. I guess it doesn't matter, because I've analyzed it. I could use whatever the hell I want. Honestly, I want to try and cut it in half. I want to sever it from the base.

Timothy (DM):

You grab a weapon real quick and you go to swing at it. I'm going to say it's a short sword, just for to give us a little bit of extra time. You go to swing at it. Yeah, make that attack roll.

Dan (Wren):

I'm going to say it's a short sword, just for simplicity. Yeah for simplicity. That is a 23 to hit. A 23 does hit, so I will sneak attack it because I get advantage, because I'm an assassin and I went first. It's not surprised. Surprised, though, so it doesn't crit automatically, which is big sad for me. Five, those are two, sixes, 17 plus 11.

Timothy (DM):

28. 28 damage. Yeah, Alright, so you slash off the tentacle. It snaps. The ooze splashes out at you. Do a dex save? Oh no.

Dan (Wren):

Acidies, that ain't good 13?.

Timothy (DM):

All right, so you're going to take one acid damage. Oh pish posh.

Dan (Wren):

Um, I would then like to run and try and get everyone else to run as well. I essentially just wanted to cut off that tentacle, to buy us a little bit of extra time.

Timothy (DM):

Um, cool, so you, alice and Cyril, are in this room.

Dan (Wren):

For Desley.

Timothy (DM):

Oh, yeah For Desley, yeah, yeah for Desley, yeah.

Dan (Wren):

I did not invite Cyril to go dancing. If he wanted to come dancing, he had to bring himself.

Timothy (DM):

So you, alice and Desley are in the white room where this is happening, and the next to go is the void. The next to go is the void. So as you begin to run, this tear has opened up, the tentacle slapped out, you slashed it off and then the void's afterbirth just splatters out of the rift. A wave like a tsunami of black ooze pushes everyone away from the center of a room up against the wall as you start seeing creatures crawling out up onto the ceiling. The weird shark-like flying things shoot out, rocket like five of them rocket out of the rift. Tentacles pour out in the tsunami of black ooze and the room fills with void creatures. And that is where we're gonna end this session. Oh boy, gross, wow, all right.
