The villain was right! The common refrain that's been popular for the last decade and a half or so. 

It's true that movies have trended to more sympathetic villains but that doesn't mean their right!

But often times their cause is just. A vague notion of something better for humanity!

Is humanity so broken that we'll accept any solution?

If it's not properly and loudly rebutted, yes, we will!

here, I break down why movies and storytelling is teaching us that villains are right and how we can dispel these notions. 

we just have to make the heroes as complex as the villains!
