Just the Tip: The Tinder District Podcast

S3E16: Quarantine and Chill

Jesse Peterson Season 3 Episode 16

On this episode of the Just the Tip podcast, Jesse and Sara are BACK following a three-month quarantine hiatus! They begin with a statement in support of the Black Lives Matter movement, and an explanation of why they decided to take a break during quarantine. They then discuss their dating lives during quarantine - Jesse's experiences having virtual and FaceTime dates, moving her Hinge location to other countries, and her recent in-person picnic dates, and Sara's experience with a more serious quarantine relationship that is still continuing. Jesse also sends a confrontational text on air to a guy who might be ghosting her, and Sara discusses how a Venmo transaction made her realize that her current guy is the real deal. They then discuss what to do if someone asks you to leave after you have sex, and what to do if you get ghosted after sex. They talk about why quarantine is the best time for bare minimum dudes to shine (and why they're still failing), when you should delete dating apps, and whether people will be looking for hookups or for serious relationships after quarantine ends. They answer listener questions about advice for FaceTime dates, virtual date conversation topics, and best opening lines for dating apps during quarantine. Finally they discuss poll questions including if you've started talking to someone online during quarantine and if you would become exclusive with someone without first meeting them in person, and Jesse reads the live response to her confrontational text.
