Dr. Ben Moseley: Learning Augmented Algorithms
Dr. Ben Moseley - professor at CMU - discusses his research and his work with Relational AI. His research includes learning-augmented algorithms, which combines machine learning based predictions with algorithms for common problems like maximum matchings. He also works on scheduling related problems. Dr. Moseley gives some insights into why he enjoys being a professor in Operations Research, and how he enjoys working on theoretical problems with practical applications. We also play a couple fun games - "Name That Algorithm" and "This or That".
