September is here, and so is Schoolutions Teaching Strategies Season 5. John Hattie kicks us off with describing how expert teachers think differently and why their curiosity beats their credentials every time.

Brett Fox of Hopecam and Suzanne Stone of Livestrong worked together to create a beautiful picture book for children called My Brave Friend. They speak to how this is a resource for children diagnosed with cancer, their caregivers, their educators - the whole team.

Sandy Halpin, a retired teacher center director, speaks to what is working well with crafting districtwide professional learning and what doesn't.

Dr. Molly Ness is back. She highlights her newest book with Dr. Katie Pace Miles - Making Words Stick - and helps us understand a four-step process for orthographic mapping.

And I wrap the month with David K. Richards. He highlights his microschool revolution.

Join us for these conversations. I can't wait to have you be part of the learning.
