The Splash Stories podcast celebrates the 90's music scene and the influence of London’s infamous Splash Club venue which was to London what CBGB’s was to New York in 90’s UK. Splash Stories takes in the stories, the bands, the live shows and talks to the people on the scene, the fans, the journalists, the fashions and the wider entertainment industry. Backstage stories and interviews behind the shows at the Venue from- Oasis,Travis,Skunk Anansie, Placebo, Feeder, Moby, Weezer, Bush, Beck, Therapy Echobelly,Goo Goo Dolls, Weller, OCS ...the list goes on.... and with the celebrated scenesters from photographers, managers Dj's & journalists and those who were there and the backtale of the struggle behind building the venue whose star was to burn so brightly it took 23 fire engines to put it out.And that's just the start we celebrate the future of all our guests and always the stories...

Splash Stories Ben Steadman & Diamond Dave caught up with UK Hip-Hop/Electronic dance pioneers The Stereo MC's ahead of their True To Life Tour of UK and Ireland through December & January 2026.

Rob was in fine flow and touched on the early Gee Street Days with Jon Baker which was when Ben first met him, his Island Records days and the old skool ways.
This tour celebrates their legacy and the life of Owen If (Ian Rossiter) one of Rob's oldest friends, a brother, comrade and the original Stereo Mc’s Rhythm Doctor.
