This week, Nikki Toyama-Szeto chats with Dr. Charles Chavis Jr. He is an Assistant Professor at George Mason University and the Founding Director of the John Mitchell Jr. Program for History, Justice, and Race at the Jimmy and Rosalynn Carter School for Peace and Conflict Resolution. He's also the author of The Silent Shore: The Lynching of Matthew Williams and the Poltiics of Racism in the Free State.
