My friends, family and chosen family welcome.

My name is Andrea Davidson and, aside from the fact that I had to take on a few in-between-the-good-time, food-industry jobs to pay the rent, I have been a professional musician for most of my life.

In the hustle of the record, the publishing and production deals, touring and trying to find my place in the industry, I was quietly dealing with a list of perpetual chronic health issues that catalyzed me to question whether or not what I'd been told by doctors my whole life was actually true. Does diet affect the way I feel and look? Could I actually reverse my chronic health issues and improve my mental health through nutrition, mindset and lifestyle changes? Does the way I'm thinking about myself and the world around me actually affect my reality and do I have the capacities to positively change that perspective and therefore my reality? Absolutely Alright. So I'm officially the proud owner of Be Well Natural Health Store here in downtown Rogersville, Tennessee, and this podcast is intended to be a resource of empowering information for you, no matter if you live in the area or if you're a part of our online community, whether you're looking to take your first step towards better health or your 10,000th. Be Well welcomes you.

Hello, happy, almost spring 2025. It's officially time to end the podcasting pause and give you all the great updates about what's going on. Most of you who are local know that I was having to make some kind of big life decisions and was unsure whether or not I was going to stay open, and I'm thrilled to announce that Be Well is most definitely staying open and things are working out in a way that I could have never planned if I hadn't opened my mind and heart to all possibilities and allow myself to be led a little bit by a higher power. So what's happening is I'm actually partnering with two amazing ladies who I can't wait for you all to meet. Some of you have already met Joan, but their names are Joan and Jennifer, and we are making big plans for Be Well. These women are both not only just amazing humans, but have really built their careers and knowledge up in the corporate world.

So many of the things I was not the best at, such as, you know, left brain things - like organization, and systems, and planning, and marketing, are what they sort of specialize in, amongst many other things. They're also very creative as well, but they're just left brain strong, and so what this is going to mean for the shop is way more product at better pricing. Potentially, we'll have memberships to offer even better pricing. More marketing to get the word out. More ability to support local makers and carry their products in the shop. Way more pet products, household products, loose herbs, teas, spices and food items. More ability for me to do one-on-one consults with clients at better pricing. Group classes or workshops. More accessible hours for people who come to the shop that can't make it during the day, along with offering the sauna to our local community. A hyperbaric chamber may also be in the shop in the coming months, which is very exciting. If you don't know about hyperbaric chamber, we're going to do an episode on that, but it's worth a Google. We are also looking to potentially change the name of the shop a little bit to Be Well Naturals, and it definitely isn't a phase one thing, but we're very much exploring having our own product line in the shop as well, so that'll be really cool.

I just want to thank you all for coming in and being so supportive and patient with me and what's been going on down there with the Make America Healthy Again movement. It's just a super exciting time to be in the health and wellness industry, because so much of what's been happening in regards to the attack on our health and our bodies is coming to light on the main world stage. So now it's all about education and making sure people in the area, and also our online community, can have access to the highest quality products at a great price. I also want to know is there anything you wish for us to carry in the shop that isn't there currently? Are there any services you'd like to see at the shop? As we grow, we want to make sure we're providing all we can for the community, so your thoughts and ideas are actually quite welcomed! So, you can message us or email us or swing by the shop, call whatever, but let us know. Let us know what you want that we don't have and how we can do better.

And, lastly, just a little food for thought. This is something that's been on my mind and heart a lot. I've just, I've been noticing so much divisive language in regards to all the things happening with our government and the trajectory they're taking with our country, and you know, blaming this person, blaming that person. Democrats did this, Republicans did that, and just a reminder that now, with our social media and algorithms, we see more of what we like and click on, which in some regards is quite convenient and in others it really can perpetuate a bias in perspective. So just if what you're believing, and whatever side you're on, is making you want to not talk to your family or your friends, if it's making you angry or creating divisiveness and fear in your perspective of the world and your life, pretty pretty please just take a moment to notice that and recognize there's some room to grow. I'm in this place. I've recognized that too. I'm not preaching, I'm right there with all of us, but we are a human family and we are currently having different experiences and perspectives.

And, in my humble opinion, there's this massive invitation into the both/and realms of consciousness where we are willing to look at both sides with curiosity and see there's things happening that are true and false, and scary and beautiful, in every direction we look. The most powerful thing we can do right now is seek to understand, release judgment and do whatever it takes to love our neighbors, our brothers and sisters, our friends and family and chosen family, regardless of how they are seeing things. We have to choose love. It's so powerful to believe in God or a higher power that is orchestrating it all perfectly, and we will learn, grow and evolve, no matter who is president. Okay? What we choose to focus on will grow. So it's just an invitation - I'm not trying to be preachy, but just an invitation to choose love and set some boundaries around what we're consuming. In regards to the news, especially if we can't hold that love and hope in our hearts. That's a signal, that's a flag. You know that we need to be more mindful about what we're consuming. I know we always talk about food and stuff, supplements on this podcast, but what we're consuming through our screens is just as important and maybe even more important.

So I'm going to close it out with a song written while one of my dearest friend's homes was actually burning down in California a few months after his insurance was canceled.  While my brothers and sisters in North Carolina and East Tennessee were sleeping in tents as the snow came down. Luca and I were walking in the fields and I had like three pairs of pants on and three shirts, two jackets, two pairs of socks, a hat and gloves. You know just whatever I got to do to make it so I could actually enjoy the walk with him. He doesn't care, he just gets the zoomies and loves it.

But we were walking around in the fields, all bundled up, and this song started to come out, and actually I went to Nashville the next day and ended up finishing the song, recording it and making a video with two amazing talented humans, bobby Holland and Patrick Larney. This one's called Still Got Love, and you can see the video online as a reel if you go to my social media, or you can listen to the song actually on all streaming platforms. So, all right, thank you all again, and so much more beautiful things to come. I'm grateful you are still on this journey with me, all right, so big love and talk to you soon. Be well, bye for now!
