Hidden Wisdom by the Latter-day Disciples
The Latter-day Disciples’ mission is to explore the path of ascension, unfold the mysteries of godliness and become Kings and Queens into the Most High God. To that end, we are pleased to present the Hidden Wisdom podcast, the Tower in the Garden blog, online classes, retreats + conferences, and MORE.
Hidden Wisdom, by the Latter-day Disciples, is hosted by Meghan Farner, author of “Consider Yourself as Eve: A Guide to Spiritual Development for Women (and the Men Who Love Them.)”

Hidden Wisdom by the Latter-day Disciples
Ep. 40 | Growing Up to Perfection, with Cameron Mayer
Meghan is joined by Cameron Mayer, a fellow "young" disciple, to discuss some of the unique perspectives gained through faithfully following Jesus Christ. Topics Include:
- Bringing Heaven Down to Earth
- Perfection, as the Hebrews Define It
- Inherited Iniquity
- Gospel Milk vs. Gospel Meat
- Truth as a Personality
Cameron Mayer was born in Texas, and moved to St. Louis, MO when he was 12. He met his now-wife, Mikayla, in 7th grade, although she initially friend-zoned him until after his mission. Cameron served in the Salt Lake City West Mission, speaking Spanish. He afterwards studied Psychology at BYU, and graduated in April 2022. Cameron and his wife recently moved back to St. Louis and he is now working as a marketer for a Lasik eye doctor.
Cameron has always had a love for the gospel, and the search for truth. In his experience, there is nothing more sweet or fulfilling. He has found no greater treasure trove of truth than in the restored gospel. He says, "the more I've exercised diligence in coming to understand the mysteries og God adn who HE is, the greater depth and beautiful I found. The gospel really is inexhaustible, and what's more is that truth isn't just an abstract thing, but a living person. The Lord Jesus literally is the truth and as you come to know it, you are really coming to know Him."
Cameron is also the host of The Cause of Zion podcast, which he says is geared to all those seeking for truth, whether they be struggling with their understanding or testimony of the restored gospel, or if they've cultivated a deep and abiding passion for it and are ready to dig deeper. His goal is to convey the beauty of the gospel and reawaken the faith of his listeners.
