Creating a Legacy of Love With Dr. Kimberly Harms

Karen Coyne, CFP®

What does legacy mean?

The idea of leaving a worthy legacy can feel daunting. What will I leave behind? How will I be remembered?

In this episode, Karen Coyne chats with Dr. Kimberly Harms, a grief counselor, death doula and author who shares her incredible story of overcoming personal hardships, the power of personal connections, and how to leave a legacy that’s more than material.

If legacies are rooted in love and relationships rather than just numbers of dollars, building emotional resilience deserves as much attention as our legal and financial planning.

Other discussions include:

  • Understanding and redefining legacy beyond material assets
  • Dr. Harms' journey through personal adversity and grief and how it shaped her
  • Insights on building emotional insurance and strong family bonds
  • Practical tips on creating legacy letters and preparing for the inevitable
