How To Study the Bible Part 4; In Context and the Impartiality of Jesus
This is Part 4 of a how to study the Bible series. In today’s episode, we are talking a lot about studying the Bible in the context. Context can tell you a lot about a passage. When I am talking about Context, I am talking about studying a specific word, phrase, verse or passage in the context where it is set. We want to pay attention to and observe the passages that come directly before and after it. Sometimes we can learn as much from what is before or after a passage as we can learn from the passage itself. We will also see how studying in context looking at one word in John 4:4 and continually expanding the study to see the surrounding contexts reveals the impartiality of Jesus.
