Today we're talking about Diverticulitis. This is when diverticula (plural for diverticulum, a benign outpouching in the colon that we all get) get inflamed and possibly infected. Unsurprisingly this causes severe pain! We talk about what symptoms people get with this condition. We also talk about how we treat it, and we discuss some of the myths about prevention.
