In the past few episodes, we've been talking about my journey, about how I got to the place that I am today. And with that in mind, my desire was to move into a different type of a feeling. A different type of feeling. I wanted to shift and to refine and align in this process of becoming that I was experiencing. If you stay with me, you'll find out exactly what took place. The diamonds of our lives truly are produced through time, heat, and pressure. And it is absolutely what we do with these times, with these experiences that determine whether we're going to stay frozen where we are in a life environment and in an emotional place that we don't choose to be in, or whether we allow ourselves to remove reactionary language and to be transformed, to take that trauma and transform it. I've shared with you the family that I grew up in and how I was raised, the type of parents that I had, the fact that I did have the opportunity to figure out how my life would operate, to take the time to try, to, for lack of a better term, experiment. And what I found, especially as I began to see the environment around me changing and the people that I had once admired, hearing them literally say things that actually were about me, not as an individual, but as a woman, as an African American woman, as a citizen of the United States, I began to hear people that I once respected say things about me, who I am, who I was, and what they thought, which many, many times was completely wrong. And in that process, I moved into what many call a deconstruction of the way that I believe. So when you're when you're looking at things and you're seeing where your life was at one point and where it is now, I began to realize that what I was experiencing was not a revolution. I wasn't tearing down my belief system. I wasn't fighting against it. I was, however, rejecting some of what had been given to me in order for me to define what was right for me. And in that, I found that I was not experiencing a revolution, but in fact, an evolution. Sit with that for just a moment. Maybe what you're experiencing is an evolution. Maybe you are in evolving. Maybe you're not that person that you once were. Looking back at myself, I needed them to tell me, and them being those, uh the church quote, in general, to tell me what to do, to tell me how to think. Because I was so broken through grief and mourning that I couldn't put a sentence together. And so for that I'm truly thankful. I was lifted up off of my feet, and I gave you this analogy also of a hospital. I needed to go to the hospital for my soul. And once I did that and began to strengthen, I didn't feel as though I needed to stay in the hospital. And that's what I think many people do. They don't realize that you are supposed to evolve. This is exactly what Jesus said when he said, the things that I do, you're gonna do greater because I'm leaving and I've given you a spirit, that thing that you cannot see that's gonna make it pull all together. And that thing that was being pointed to for you to look at is your inner your inner guide, that which connects you directly to source, that allows you to become that new creature because you're connected in a way that you now understand and can move forward in. So I wasn't going through a revolution. Actually, I was evolving, I was growing, I was becoming. You know, that the same words that I've told you before, becoming is a process, and that process has stages, and all of us go through that process. If that's where you are, you're not different, nothing went wrong. You're growing up, you're realizing that you don't have to let someone else's relationship define who you are, that you have the right to feel what you feel and to work through what you feel in the way that you feel is necessary. And once you come to a place where you can move on your own, you absolutely have the right to move forward on your own. I shared with you that I was in and went to um uh was in association with others and in the way that they believed, and I believe that, but even in that context, there were people around us, and you'd make a statement and they would push back against that statement, actually showing their own authority in their own life, the wisdom that their life had provided them, and the integration to take their life's experiences, get the value from it, and then allow that to be the basis of your new spiritual maturity. So many times we didn't mature, we're still doing the same stuff. I remember coming across people in a regular church environment that had been sitting there in quote unquote a ministry of love, and they were as mean as a wet hen. They were revengeful, they were deceptive, they would try to sabotage the work of other people. I asked this one lady, why do you do that? Because when we're talking one-on-one, you're a nice lady. And then when we go into another environment, you're a completely different person. And she told me, I don't want it to succeed if I'm not in charge of it. I want her to fail. And this is a person who's been sitting here in an atmosphere of love for the last 40 years and still wishing harm on someone else. Sometimes you see things that allow you to understand, no, I'm not re I'm not in a revolution, I am evolving. This is not who I choose to be. And in that, it's time for me to go back and look at who I want to be. So it's a time when you need to think, I'm not walking away, I'm not breaking ties, I'm not starting over, but what I'm actually doing is transforming what I've learned. Revolution teaches us to fight what used to be, but evolution teaches us to become because of what where we were. I'm not here to reject my past. I'm not here to erase what I lived through. I'm here to transform it into something of value because the truth is nothing that I have experienced was wasted, and nothing that you have experienced is wasted. Not the pain, not the confusion, not even the moments when you didn't understand who you were in the same manner that I didn't understand who I was. All of it mattered, and all of it was pressure, and that pressure when it's aligned, aligned, aligned, creates diamonds. So, no, I didn't start over. I evolved, I became more refined, more aligned, and more aware of who I was meant to be. You have that same opportunity to determine who you want to be and how you want to do it. And if you see people around you that do not reflect who you are, I would highly advise you not to go along with the crowd simply because that's what you've always done. But to understand that what you're seeing, the ability to see what you're seeing is your evolution. Because at one point in your life, you could agree with where they were, and now you understand that where they are, you don't want to be, and you don't have to be. I want you to continue moving forward with us. We're going to be doing some things now to build who you are, to be able to continue that evolutionary process to give you a clear understanding and allow you to look into yourself. When we first began this entire journey, we were talking about your destiny. And sometimes your destiny requires you to change. Sometimes your destiny requires you to be more than you've ever been. Sometimes your destiny requires you to put these fragmented pieces together, to look at the facet of the diamond that that has created, and for you to be more than you've ever been before. Why? Because you're not revolting, you're not putting on a revolution, you're not trying to hurt anyone, but what you are doing is to refine the reflection of who you see in the mirror today, to refine refine who you want to be and how you want to do things. And in order to do that, you have to do things differently, and those are going to be the things that we're going to be working through uh in the next, probably always. This is the turning point for everything that I've shared with you up to this day. This is the turning point. So I want you to prepare yourself. I want you to do that deep work that we always talk about, your shadow work. Because if you will allow yourself to sit quietly and feel, you will be able to feel what is wrong in your life. It's reflected in your body, this physical receiver of which we get our messages. Those messages that come from the outside world in terms of how to take care of ourselves, put on a sweater, put on gloves, or take off your sweater. It's too warm. We learn from our bodies, our outer experiences, as well as when we listen to our inner body, the inside of our body, in those chakra regions that we talked about, you'll be able to feel what needs to be changed next. When you look at irrational fears, when you look at how generational trauma may have formed where you are, then you begin to realize what I need to look at and what shadow work needs to be done. And shadow work simply, again, is realizing that something has taken place, that it has attached itself into your body. It has anchored in your body in a way that allows you to feel when something is wrong. There are people that say arguments uh make my stomach start hurting because you have stored those disagreements in that place in your body that is for intuition, and instead you're getting stomach burning because you haven't dealt with the trauma of your past. And again, this is not medical uh information. If you're having physical symptoms in your body that you know are not right, then logically you need to go to a doctor and find out what it is. If you're experiencing uh symptoms that you believe are spiritual awakening symptoms, and they very well may be, but if you're not sure, you probably need to go to a doctor and make sure that the headache that you're experiencing is not something greater that has other implications. But what you're feeling in the pressure could be that intuitive center opening up. So we want to make sure that we are walking in line with wisdom, but we also need to understand that it's not a revolution that has taken place in your life, it is your evolution. If you haven't done so, join me on New Vibe, on Fanbase, visit my website at www.d-an-i-t-a-m-c dot com.
