A bruise on the surface, a wound underneath, and a habit loop holding it all together—that’s where our story starts.

A chaotic kitchen moment with a meat thermometer turned into a lesson on how easily we chase new problems while the original pain keeps calling for attention. I take you through the exact process I use to find the root, name the soul lesson, and identify the seven habits that are quietly blocking growth.

We dig into the defensiveness loop with clinical clarity and compassion. You’ll hear how a small cue—like a comment about a messy room—can trigger an amygdala flare, push the prefrontal cortex offline, and reward a knee-jerk reaction with dopamine. Then we flip the script with an accessible, science-backed reset: a five-second pause, three deep breaths, a “let me think about that” bridge, and a kinder reward that stabilizes your nervous system. Layer in energetic work to keep the lesson while clearing the charge, and habits start losing their grip.

From there, we widen the lens to the forces that wire deep habits: reward, repetition, and readiness; family modeling; school and media conditioning; and stress chemistry that stacks the deck against willpower. We also talk about intuition and the pineal gland’s role in clarity and sleep, along with simple steps to reduce interference—filtered water, non-fluoride choices, nighttime EMF hygiene, and thoughtful detox practices. It’s a grounded path to clearer signals, steadier choices, and a calmer body.

If you’re ready to locate your core lesson, pull the exact habits blocking it, and get both physical and energetic action steps, grab a session or join the membership. We’ve got live conversations, Q&A, and a tier with monthly mini reads to keep you progressing.

Welcome to Unveil, the podcast. I'm your host, Angela Christian, and I help you with unveiling your true self by peeling away the layers that society placed on you. I do this with a combination of neuroscience, energetics, and ancient spiritual wisdom. I went from underpaid and overworked in corporate America to launching a six-figure company that continues to grow. I went from toxic relationships to being happy and single for over a year as I worked and continue to work on becoming the best version of myself and so much more. My greatest passion is to help women and mothers heal, transform, and become the highest versions of themselves. As I continue to grow and expand my intuitive knowledge and unique wisdom, I'll be including you on my journey to millions. So let's get into it. Hello and welcome back to Unveiled. Happy Tuesday to everyone. Hope you are doing well. If you listen to my Sunday source, you might have already heard this story I'm going to share from a different perspective, though. So gotta keep things new in all the places. So I've had some interesting things, uh, some high-level reflections, which I know are here for me to help me get to the next level. As you know, a couple Sundays ago, I fell down the stairs, right? And that was a whole situation. My left knee still hurts, working through that reflection. But what's what's interesting is this weekend, I don't know why this stuff always happens on weekends, but this weekend I was literally making tacos thinking about how I could save the world. And my six-year-old uh poked me in the butt with a meat thermometer. And so in the moment, I was just trying to keep him busy. I forgot I was wearing these sweats that are very old and worn out, and they have a little hole on the right butt cheek area. And he had just dipped the meat thermometer into the raw meat, came over to me and thought it was funny and just poked me in the butt right on that skin. And it hurt, like it was pokey. And I just took a minute and explained to him, like, you know, we can't do that because it's raw meat, it could cause an infection if you if that had actually got into my bloodstream, all of that. And I kind of then forgot about it until the next morning I woke up and that area was just really itchy. And so when I went and looked in the mirror, I had this huge blue purple blotch. And I was like, great, I've been poisoned. So now I have to deal with that. So I calmed myself down and asked my higher self, like, do I need to go to the hospital? No. So I sat down, I did uh timeline healing, which basically goes back and removes the situation from happening, but you keep the lessons. I did that. I did a bunch of healing on it. And then when I went to pick up my daughter from my sister's house later that day, I was telling my daughter, she said, Well, mom, you already had a bruise there from your fall, which I swear I had checked the mirror after my fall and there wasn't a bruise. So it was just funny because the whole time I was freaking out thinking I got infected with uh raw meat, uh, some kind of bacterial infected bacterial infection, and it was literally right on top of my bruise. So this reflection was lit literally layered, and it was as if the poke never happened. The root of the of the physical pain I was dealing with was still the fall, right? And in the healing world, we miss the root so much, and that's a big cause of not being able to heal something. So we tend to focus on like the new drama, the latest outrage, the next distraction, and when the real work is in the original wound, right? Which was the fall, which was related to my soul lesson. And majority of our obstacles are related to not resolving our soul lesson. I have been going down this whole rabbit hole around habits and how they play a part in our reflections, but more importantly, our soul lesson, which is like going to the root. So, what I did, I don't think I shared this on the podcast. I know I shared it on Sunday source, but I pulled the seven habits or sorry, I pulled how many habits were related to my recurring soul lesson, like blocking myself from resolving it. And there were seven. So then I intuited all seven. And I have been doing an entire deep dive on all of that. And I'll definitely be sharing more about that whole process soon because that work, getting to the habit of what's blocking you, and then realigning to a higher frequency habit will help you tremendously. So I can do that for you in a session, and I am offering a limited amount of spots for sessions before I raise my price. So I will be raising my price soon. You can grab a spot this month. And now I am offering live as well. So before it was mostly remote reads, and now I am offering either remote or live. So if you prefer a live container where, you know, we're sitting together in real time, then you can choose that option. As I've been doing this, and I pulled these seven habits a little over a week ago when I was stuck in bed with my knee and foot issue. And this week I've just been watching. I've been watching myself. I've been aware of, I'll give you a couple examples of my habits. So one of my biggest habits from childhood, I'll just break it down for you, is the feeling like I need to defend myself. And it's even in silly situations, mostly with my mother, who's my biggest reflector. But what happens, and I've broken this down from the second it starts to the solution and everything in between using both science and energetics. So this is kind of what that would look like. My mom complains that my son's room is a mess. Okay. That's the cue. I'm feeling criticized. That triggers my defensiveness. So then in my defensiveness reaction, I might yell, I might get angry, I might say something rude, right? So the cause is from childhood conditioning. If you've had, if you had like a hypercritical caregiver or you had trauma, that wires the amygdala to perceive threats when they don't actually exist. There's no threat. There's no threat to my safety that my mom is saying my son's room is a mess, but my body doesn't know that. My body acts like we're about to fight and it's and it's not helpful, right? And then the reward, which keeps the habit going, is there's a temporary relief from this perceived threat by like fighting back, and then there's a dopamine release. This is very instinctual. And I've been watching myself over the last week do this. And I'm not beating myself up when I do do it, but I'm like, okay, that's another situation where I felt like I needed to defend myself, right? Like what was actually going on, diving into that. So then I pulled the physical solution, which I do think I shared with you guys, which was to pause, freeze for five seconds, three deep breaths to engage the prefrontal cortex. And then if it's something that someone's, you know, demanding an answer from you or something, you could just say, uh, let me let me think about that. I'll get right back to you, instead of reacting. Now that's really easy for me to say. It's a lot harder to actually put it into practice. And then there's of course the energetic solutions, healings, all of that. But there's always a physical and an energetic. So the physical action would be to do the pause and freeze and react differently to start rewiring that. That's just one. That's just one of the habits. I have seven habits that I'm rewiring right now. So I have been studying all the different areas of the brain, what each one does in the brain, how to, and that's important because if I can figure out a different reward versus like a dopamine release, then that will start to help shift that habit faster, right? Unfortunately, the way that we're raised, there's a lot of behavioral conditioning. Uh, we are our behaviors are rewarded in school, right? At work. And that creates this sugar dopamine rush. And so that makes you want to get more praise, makes you want to get more rewards, but it's just a artificial loop and it's unhealthy. Okay, so let's talk about how habits get stuck. And these are like the big, deep, sticky habits that are causing a lot of chaos in your life, right? How do they get there? Why are they so hard to shake? It's actually not that complicated when you break it down in the way that I did. It just took a long time. So, first there's the brain's reward system. Our brain is basically like a lazy toddler who just wants treats all the time. So if doing something feels good, they're gonna do you're gonna do it again, right? So if you're stressed out, you eat a cookie, your brain gets a nice little rush of happy chemicals, dopamine, and it's like, oh yeah, more of that. So that would be the first rule, the law of effect, that reward equals repeat. Now, if you do that every day for a week, maybe you're going through a breakup or something, now you've created a routine. And that path in your brain gets worn down like a dirt path, and it's just getting deeper and deeper, and now it's automatic. So then the second rule, the law of exercise, uh comes into play. Repetition makes it permanent. The third rule is the law of readiness, and this is about motivation. So if you're already stressed and your brain is ready for a fix, it's going to be way easier to grab a cookie or chocolate or whatever uh than to go meditate or go for a walk, right? Because the motivation is already primed and waiting. So then your brain learns, stress happens, cookie appears, I feel good. Let's make that automatic, right? It's very caveman-ish. Now, we don't create these habits in a vacuum. We learn them from our families, from our school systems, right? So when we're growing up, we pick up habits by just mimicking the people around us. So if your mom deals with stress by cleaning the house aggressively, guess what you might do, right? Or if your mom has zero communication skills like mine, guess what habits you're gonna pick up with communication? If your family showed love with pizza and ice cream or clothes in my case, that's what love feels like to your nervous system. For me, I became very conditioned that love meant, like when someone spent money on me, that meant they loved me. And that's obviously not the truth, but it was so ingrained that it became truth in my mind. Then we look at going to school or even the media. They are constantly normalizing things that are not good for us. They make processed food like Oreos. I'd watched this ridiculous YouTube video, or I didn't watch it, but I could see my daughter watching it, and I was just like, please turn this off. This woman was getting every kind of Oreo, special Oreo that was made, and tasting it. And I was like, She probably makes millions of dollars. And I'm like, this is crazy because this woman is here making kids, it made me want to have an Oreo, to be honest. She did make it look fun. So they're basically school and media dark force, and they're basically conditioning us to accept certain habits as normal while censoring out the healthier options. And the third piece is so we had the brain's reward system, right? Basically a lazy toddler. Then the world around us, where we created these habits, where they were passed on to us. Then the number three piece is your emotional state. So this is the glue that holds the whole thing together. When you are under chronic stress, the part of your brain in charge of long-term planning, self-control, which is your prefrontal cortex, literally goes offline. It like shuts down. So then who's in charge? Your toddler brain, the one that wants the cookie, the one that wants instant relief. And there's a physical reason for this. Stress creates a hormone called cortisol. And studies have shown that spikes in cortisol are directly linked to craving sugary carbs, addictive foods. So your body will literally scream for a quick fix to calm down. So when you're stressed out, your prefrontal cortex has checked out, and your body is chemically begging for like a cookie, and you have a well-worn dirt path ready to go, it's not a lack of willpower because people will do this loop, they'll do this habit loop, and then they'll beat themselves up, beat themselves up, which then makes them a reflection for more criticism, and it just keeps them in this loop. It's a perfectly designed system that is working against you. So when we talk about breaking these deep habits that are tied to our soul lessons, we're not just fighting a little craving. We are literally fighting our brain's reward system, our entire life's programming, and our body's chemical response to stress. However, the rewards will be amazing, right? So if you don't have your intuition dialed in, you can book a session with me. We can pull your soul lesson, we can pull the habits blocking you. I'll even give you the steps, all of that. If you have your intuition dialed in, you could pull that and also pull your physical and energetic action steps forward. This month in the membership, Brooke is coming back and we're going to talk about obstacles, soul lessons, um, all of that, and how that plays into our soul path, our soul pull, right? So it's gonna be a really, really good conversation. We'll talk about how dark forces and contagions, all of that affect your soul path. And a lot of this is because the dark force world set it up this way, right? I had someone reach out to me and they have a hard time visualizing, they've had a hard time with their intuition. That's because our world is literally created to block our intuition. So, in case you didn't know this, just a really quick another science session for you guys. When we look at breaking out of this hypnosis, one of the most important things is to have an open pineal gland. I hope I'm saying that correctly. It always sounds weird. But it's like this pea-sized uh gland located in the brain. It's called the third eye, and it does so much for us. It regulates our circadian rhythms, our melatonin production, and it's what we use in intuition, right? However, modern toxins, which were created by the dark force world to keep people sick, poisoned, slow, die sooner, all of that, particularly fluoride, which was pumped into our water, into toothpastes, fluoride binds to this to the pineal tissue and it hardens it over time. It can also reduce melatonin production, which is really important, right, for sleep and all of that. So, first thing, if you want to open your third eye, which will help with the intuitive piece of being able to pull this information. So I personally stopped using any fluoride uh products. I only drink filtered water, I do my best. There are toxins all over in this world, but I control what I what I can control, right? Uh also heavy metals. So aluminum, mercury, all the lovely things they put in the vaccines, glycephate, that also disrupts pineal function. So detoxifying from the heavy metals will be key, as well as the fluoride. I do offer those in my healing sessions. I offer both physical and energetic action steps and healings to help that. And then also in the lovely poisoning of our skies, there are heavy metals and then glyphosate, which I think I said before glycephate, which just sounds better in my mind, is sprayed on our foods, right? This is all to keep our penial gland closed. And then finally, Wi-Fi, right? So if you can, I would highly recommend turning off your Wi-Fi at night. I use a Faraday case, I make my kids, my young ones at least, use EMF protection, all of that, like anything possible, right? Because if everybody had their pineal gland open, their third eye open, we would all be able to tap into our intuitive gifts a lot easier. And they know that a closed pineal gland is actually easier to control and to conceal truths from. So for the people who, you know, there's a lot of people waking up, which is amazing, probably 80%, maybe even more, are finally waking up. But for that last, you know, 20%, they likely, I would guarantee like 99% of them have a closed pineal gland. And that's what's helping keep them under the hypnosis. Because once you know the truth of what's happening, like there's no going back. But a lot of people aren't ready for the truth. A lot of people don't want to know the truth. And if they don't wake up, we're going to see a lot of chaos that we're already seeing, right? It's going to get worse over the next six to nine months. So what I would like to do is to help people understand from both a science and energetic perspective all of these things. And knowledge is power. So the more that you know about this, the more that you can protect yourself, protect your kids, all of that, right? So if you're in my membership, you'll be able to join me in Brooke live this month. You can submit your questions. If you're not my membership, you can jump in for$40 a month for the lower tier. The higher tier, the$129 a month, you actually get a mini read with me every month. And you could actually ask me to pull. I wouldn't be able to do the full thing for you in a mini session, but I could at least pull your reoccurring soul lesson and the number of habits and the actual habits that are standing in your way. I could pull that. I just wouldn't be able to do the full session because that would take like a full session's time, but it would at least give you some information to start. So sending you all love, I will continue trying to figure out what to do to help the world on my end. And hopefully I won't get poked with any more bacteria-covered meat thermometers right in the butt. So on to better things. Bye. Thank you for listening to Unveiled.
