Passive persistence

Crystal Briscoe

Hello, France, crystal here, your vibrant beat F and welcome back to another episode. So you've heard me mentioned before. How am I all about living in the flow flow over force? But what about passive persistence? What about that? What does that mean? Is it the same? Well, let's look at the dictionary. What is passive. According to the dictionary, passive is accepting or allowing what happens or what others do without active response or resistance. Hmm. What about persistence? Persistence the fact of continuing and an opinion, or course of action in spite of difficulty or oppression. When communicating, it's so important to understand and have a basis of what it is. We're trying to say, understanding what the definitions of each word that we use. Now, language is very limited, but for example, I'm speaking to you in English, I'm going to give you the definition of what it says, right? So today's episode is passive persistence. And when I thought of this, I knew I needed to break down what each of these words meant. Now some of the takeaways for passive. Is. Accepting or allowing. Without active response or resistance that to me, Feel some sort of way the next thing with persistence. What stands out is continuing on a course in spite of difficulty or oppression. The context that I'm using, passive persistence. Is being intentional about life. So yes, I'm all about flow. But I'm also about continuing. In spite of difficulty or oppression. Now when I think of accepting or allowing and this is where that phrase, everything is working out in my favor. Because no matter what it may look like. You are going to know that it's always going to be working in your favor. Now I want to add a little twist to this the word passive is without active response. We need to have intention and intention requires action. We're going to allow for the flow life is 90% of what we make of it. 10% is outside of our scope. But knowing that it's all working in our favor. And being intentional behind the action of knowing. That we are co-creating with the universe. Let's break that down again. So it wasn't a hyperbole. This is a factual statement, Approximately 90% of our life. It's determined by what we believe, what we. I assume. What we create because our perception is our reality. When we understand how much power we actually hold. It helps to change the narrative. Many people switch these numbers and say they are only in charge of 10% and life. Is 90%. What happens to them? Versus what happens for them. And it's these small ships and our subconscious of understanding that we actually hold the power to create the life that we desire. We'll help to reconfigure what it is that we believe about ourselves, about our life, about our power, about our intention, about our actions that we put behind our belief systems. So, how do we do this? How do we, stay in passive persistence. First thing is understanding the duality of life, the yin, the yang, the light, the dark. What do we name certain situations? What is the energy in the emotions we place behind events and actions that happen in our life? That's going to be a big factor. What do we believe about life? What is our expectations? What is our assumptions? All of this goes into the realities that we create. When we understand that sometimes you win and sometimes you learn, but it's never a losing unless you label it. A loss. Changing the verbiage for example. Oh, That relationship ended. What about changing it to that relationship was completed. The simple shift in language changes the energy behind it. Oh, I was let go from my job. Oh, that job had ran its course. When we can change the narrative behind what we believe and understand again, that everything is working out in our favor. It removes us from a victim mindset of thinking and to the Victor, into the driver's seat of understanding that we are creating our life, that we are the authors. So, how do we know. When to apply action. How do we know when we're going to operate in the flow or when we're going to persist? This is going to come from our own intuition. What does your higher self say? What does spirit tell you? What are you feeling called to do? This is going to be easily understood. If you have allowed space for yourself to be able to tap in to what it is you need to tap in to what it is your higher self is calling you to. It's going to look different case by case. There's going to be times that yes, you may be more persistent and you may come up against. Roadblocks. Oppositions oppression. That needs more action behind it. It's not going to be passive at all. You're going to need the persistence. You may have to keep calling. a certain agency to get answers. You may need to be persistent in standing up for what you believe in. And there are times that you are going to be able to be passive and sit and know that it's all working, even though you don't see it when you're in the liminal space, holding that vibration, that everything is working in your favor. You know, I love. An exercise and actionable steps. So let's think about this. I want you to look at your life right now, where you're at, what's going on, let's do one of my favorite practices, which is called the freeze frame technique. This is one of the easiest ways to tap into your higher self to get clarity so that you're not wasting energy ruminating on things that don't serve you. This is like the perfect balance between passive persistence, in my opinion. So I want you to get in a space where you can have some privacy, some quiet. And I want you to simply write down some words of a situation that may be happening. Something that you are struggling with. You need to know the answer. You're not quite sure what to do. Simply write down a few words of what you're feeling. You could even write down a few words of the situation. And then I want you to ask what is the question that you're needing to know? It could be something as simple as. Should I go out this weekend or it could be something as serious as should I leave my spouse. Whatever it may be. Give yourself time to write out a few feelings, emotions that you're having. We're going to sit in a space. This is where the duality comes in. I want you to get quiet and just start breathing. I want you to focus. In at your heart space. And I want you to breathe in through your nose. And out your mouth exhaling longer than the inhale. But. Focusing on your heart space. Get to a good rhythm. Whatever that feels for you. Then I want you to start thinking about. Regenerative. Emotions and feelings. Virginity of emotions and feelings are those of a higher vibration such as. Joy. Being cared for. Safety. Love. Basically anything that helps to get you in a very relaxed state. once you get to a good space, there's going to be a physiological change in your body. With you breathing in and out and thinking of. These feelings or this emotion state, For myself, one of my most fondest, beautiful memories. Is when my first grand baby was really coming to the point of being able to express. And he gave me the most beautiful hug, but I have ever received that. I could feel the actual love. Emanating from his body into my body. It's a beautiful virginity of memory that I hold. And it can almost instantly put me back into a very calm. Neutralized joyous space. Once you feel a physiological change. Of this emotion, this event, these thoughts, whatever it may be for you. I want you to simply intuitively ask your higher self, ask your heart space. Whatever that question is. And then I want you to wait while you're breathing in and out through that heart space. Wait for a response, it could be a word. It could be a paragraph. But hold. That coherence in your body. This is where it feels very passive, but you're going to persist in this breathing pattern. Until you get your answer. And you will get it. Give yourself space. Once you have your response. Move in that direction. It's one of my favorite techniques. Another technique if you're having a hard time even getting to this space. Is to help your body get into the parasympathetic nervous system. Remember the P stands for peace rest and digest state. You're able to take in new information. So simply sit up comfortably, make sure you have a straight spine. And I want you to look forward, but look through your peripheral. As far as your eyes can go. And hold that gaze. You may yawn. And you'll actually feel a release in your body. And then I want you to keep looking straight and look in the other direction for your peripheral, as far as it'll go. This is another quick, quick way to get your body set into a parasympathetics peace rest and digest state. And then you can walk through the exercise. I just listed the freeze frame technique. These practices have helped to shift the way that I navigate through life. They can also help to shift the way you navigate through life. It's understanding what it is your body needs. How your body responds to different techniques? The takeaway from today's episode of passive persistence is understanding the duality. Allowing for flow when needed and allowing for persistence when needed. But ultimately understanding how your intuition works and what it's telling you to do in each scenario. I hope one of these practices works for you and that you can start incorporating it into your life. If you want to see more things about this, be sure to follow me over on IGF vibrant. B F.
