AultCare Conversations - Episode 3 with Lisa Johnson & Nakia Knight for Black History Month
Today’s episode is in honor of our Black and Brown community for Black History Month. I have the privilege of speaking with two colleagues to discuss health and wellness but also address the disparities our Black and Brown community faces. Their professional opinions and personal stories are enlightening and honest. I hope you listen with an open heart and come away with some ideas on how we can bridge gaps and better care for one another.
Questions Lisa mentions providers can ask & say:
How do we develop a trusting relationship?
What are some of the things I can do to confirm I have your best interest in mind?
I promise to listen and repeat back what I hear to ensure I have heard you and understand you.
I promise to provide services and ensure you have the best treatment options.
