My series of podcast interviews were done to highlight the experiences of parents of children on the autism spectrum. I wanted this podcast to be a place where parents and professionals caring for and educating children on the autism spectrum could get an honest and 'real life' perspective of ASD. My husband, Tim and I obviously have first hand experience and so I decided that I should put Tim in the spotlight - after a glass or two of wine, he kindly agreed. Tim has to balance a very busy and demanding professional role with the equally important, busy and demanding role as a dad. He does a wonderful job and as you will hear, his insight into parenting a child on the autism spectrum is fantastic. He speaks honestly and candidly, he acknowledges the highs and the lows of his experiences.
