The launch of The Neurolicious Podcast marks the end of an era of loneliness for parents navigating the neurodiverse world.

When a Paediatric Developmental Educator and a mum of a child on the autism spectrum teams up with a Paediatric Occupational Therapist with a recent diagnosis of ADHD, we truly become the brains trust and support team that you need.

We explore the topics that people find hard to unpack, we talk about our daily struggles both at home and at work and we offer really useful and practical ideas to help make your load slightly lighter.

Parenting in general can bring feelings of isolation and confusion, add neurodiversity into the mix and it can, at times, feel crippling.

Let's get into it.

Hello friends, we know you're our friends if you've stumbled across the Neuralicious podcast by Mammal Road. This is a space where we can talk openly about parenting neurodiverse kids, being neurodiverse ourselves and having the conversations about things that people struggle to have conversations about. Of course the not so good part was the aggression. The reality I live with, I can't leave my son unsupervised. In everyone's life you sort of realise that you have free will and that's not our side of this space either ever wondered if it's just you who finds parenting a neurodiverse child tricky you might be one of those parents who are completely nailing it and you relish in your child's uniqueness and to you my friend we say well done You may not be a parent, but you might have questions about the neurodiverse world.

When I got there, I'd never been in a school with a support unit before, so there was an awful lot of learning for me.

We may not have all the answers, but we are here to start the conversations. We live in this world every day, both professionally and personally. My name is Emily. I'm the founder and director of Mumble Road. We are an NDIS-registered, autism-specific service. As a registered developmental educator and a positive behaviour support practitioner. I've got loads of professional experience, but I've got three children and my eldest has a swag of diagnosis and NeuroSpice. That makes him the unique legend that he is today. My name's Charlie and my mum's the best. And I'm Kylie. I'm a paediatric occupational therapist with a special interest in ADHD and autism. I love building connection with kids that just don't seem to like anybody. We are the brains trust you need. We're going to go deep on topics by speaking to the people that know the most about that topic, as well as people with lived experience.
