Show Notes

In today’s episode I spoke with Robbie O'Heaire, a dear friend of mine of many years. Our parents have been family friends on the other side of a half century, long before we were ever thought of.

It is a story of grit, determination, adventure and great sadness. Where every cloud has a silver lining.

Growing up in Finglas, Dublin.

A 16 year old child living in a 24 year olds body. In short, what life was like travelling the world for a boy who’s just had the silver spoon taken out of his mouth and no longer had his mammy to change his nappies. Love you bro - haha.

Robbie goes deep into all aspects of his life and what he enjoyed most about his evolution into the man he is today. His battles with alcohol demons and mental health, relationship with himself to finding himself at a plant medicine retreat in the Amazon Jungle.

How living in Toronto, Canada for 10 years has helped shape the man he is today and now the extreme predicament he finds himself in based on his medical choices. The immense amount of sadness and pain brought forward from his mothers experience and injuries from this same medical situation.

Really powerful episode and I hope it is heard with compassion and love in one's heart.
