SPEAKER_01:

So we get this question all the time. How do you guys do so much when you have two kids, multiple seven-figure businesses, and you're not working 80-hour work weeks like you used to do? So in the next couple minutes, we're gonna answer that question completely. We'll show you exactly what we stop doing, what we pay other people to do instead, and how much it costs. Because if you feel like you're always busy, you'll never get things done, you'll never get things ahead, and this video might change everything for you. Yo, yo, what's going on, guys? Welcome to another episode of the More Than A Side Hustle Podcast where we help more non-to-fives create more impact, income, and influence outside the non-tof.

SPEAKER_00:

So today we're gonna be talking about how we get 20 extra hours in our week without working more. So listen up closely. And you know, they see us go on date nights, vacations, running our business and the secret. They want to know what the secret is. Are you not sleeping? Which is absolutely not true. We both get eight hours plus every night. So we're gonna talk about that today.

SPEAKER_01:

And honestly, we used to wonder the same thing. And it's like you feel like when you got more in life, when you have more things to do in life, that you aren't, you actually don't have the time to do things, and that's not the case. And we literally sat down and did the math. And what we found out shocked us, we literally have about 20 extra hours every single week compared to when we first started.

SPEAKER_00:

And we're not working less per se, we're not cutting corners, we just are cutting out the things that we don't need to do to give us more time. We're not superhuman, we're not working less, we are just intentional about our time.

SPEAKER_01:

And so we realized we were spending hours every single week in things on that didn't actually move our life forward or it didn't move our business forward. So we sat down, we did a time audit, and there are some things that you realize in your life that actually you don't need to be doing. And one of the things we realized is that it doesn't give us back more time in order to create more income for ourselves, and not necessarily just didn't move the needle for it, but things that you can delegate as well.

SPEAKER_00:

Like you said, you don't have to do it all. I know that that's how we were raised. I know most of our were raised that way that you do the cleaning, you do the lawn, you do the shop, you do all the things. And now we're at a place that if we can delegate it out, we will. So the first one is meal prep and grocery delivery. I actually did like a TikTok video on things that make our life easier, and this was the number one thing in it. Since COVID started in 2020, we started using Instacart. If you don't know what Instacart is, it's a grocery delivery service, and honestly, they deliver almost anything at this point. I think there's thousands of stores on there, so it's not just like food groceries. But either way, every Sunday we make sure we put everything into the app. The entire family, between me, Anthony, and our all up here, and we order groceries so that it comes directly to our door. Now, some of you are gonna say it costs a little more there. It does. I I've seen the price changes, it does cost a bit more. However, the time it will take us to walk through the aisles, we probably spend more because you get things you don't need when you're walking in the aisles in the grocery store.

SPEAKER_01:

Especially if you go hungry and you go to the grocery store and start shopping.

SPEAKER_00:

Right. Also, don't gotta pack the kids up and do all that. It's just more convenient for us to have the groceries delivered right here. We can cook, we know what we're doing for the week, things like that. That works perfectly for us. So, grocery deliveries with Instacart has been a game changer for the past five years. We never stop since COVID started.

SPEAKER_01:

Absolutely, and this time you'll be saving is about two to three hours because in between grocery trips, you gotta talk about also the meal prep delivery service. So, people think meal prep delivery service is a lot of money. And if you find someone local and you break it down, we had a meal prep delivery service down here in Dallas, Texas. That was an inside joke. Sorry about that. Junoka usually says down here in Dallas, like we're already here.

SPEAKER_00:

No, because majority of the people that I assume that we're speaking to is from back home or upper east coast. It could they can be anywhere, but technically we're down. Texas is down.

SPEAKER_01:

So we say down here. But we found someone local, and when we really did the math, it came out to about$10 to$12 a meal. If you're talking about 10 meals between two people, that gives you lunch and dinner every single day for at least Monday through Friday, where you don't have to meal prep, you don't have to think about it.

SPEAKER_00:

You don't have to think about it. Just gotta think about the kids.

SPEAKER_01:

And then also the part you're not thinking about is you're probably eating healthier when you're meal prepping services. So if you do a meal prep service, you try to find something that's like$10 to$12 an hour. You might say it's a little bit more expensive where you are, but then it's not just about the money, it's about the time you're saving. So between the grocery delivery services and the meal prep, that alone is going to get you at least two to three hours back a week. And I was like, what can use that time to do uh something else that you want to do?

SPEAKER_00:

And even the meal prep, they bring it right to the door. So even if it's not a local person, I know a lot of different companies out there do it. X Factor, there's so many different companies that that do it, but we prefer just somebody local, just fed it felt a bit more fresh for us. But yes, meal prep and grocery deliveries is something that I don't know that we will ever give up. Now, don't get me wrong, once in a while we may stop in somewhere, but 90% of our groceries come from delivery.

SPEAKER_01:

And then also, if you can't do five meals a week or 10 meals a week, whatever it is, can you start with one meal a day? That gives you five meals for the entire week. So that might be a dinner or something. You might say, all right, well, I normally eat a little heavier at night. So you might say, instead of me doing something where I gotta cook, I'm just gonna do one meal a day. And you could just start there.

SPEAKER_00:

Definitely healthier options, I would I would say with meal deliveries. I don't know many meal delivery services that's not doing healthy, but I'm sure that's possible. Oh, absolutely. Um, yeah, definitely healthy options. So that is the first thing when it comes to saving time for us. The second thing is laundry services. Now, we don't use it every single time, but use it enough. So maybe we're coming back from vacation, the clothes is it's a busy week and nobody has time to do laundry, or even our comforters for the different seasons. We can't do our comforters in our washer and dryer. And so we will use laundry services and once again, directly to the door. Put your laundry outside of the door, they pick it up, take pictures, it's all through an app, and they bring it back the next day. Folded, smelling fresh. You can tell them what products to use. If you want dryer sheets to hold nine, if you're so particular, and then they bring it back.

SPEAKER_01:

And that's gonna save you. If you think about the amount of time it takes you to do laundry, energy and the energy and the mental bandwidth. If you took them about two to three hours, that's probably like two to three hours a week, right there as well. Some people wash every day.

SPEAKER_00:

I heard that like we wash probably once a week now.

SPEAKER_01:

Yeah, the girls wash their clothes a little bit more. But if you think about the amount of energy and time that you're putting into washing, you gotta put the clothes, you gotta sort the clothes, put them in the washer, and then take them out the washer, put them into the dryer, and then take them out. And then folding them, and most of y'all let your clothes sit for at least a week before the shave me.

SPEAKER_00:

That was me.

SPEAKER_01:

So you're letting the clothes sit for some time because you're like, I'm it's eventually going to get done. And it's when you start picking from the clean clothes, and then now you got a clean clothes pile and a dirty clothes pile starts getting messy. But we're talking about at least two to three hours a week, and you might be thinking that this is going to cost a lot of money. More often than not, it's going to be less expensive than you think. So for us, if we're cleaning our clothes for a family, usually me and Junoka, we do our clothes. Yeah. And we're talking about maybe about four loads. That's under$100. Way less than that. It's actually way less than that. Yeah. I don't remember that. You have to check your app the last time, how much you spent.

SPEAKER_00:

Oh, speaking of app, what are some apps that people could use for that? The only app we've used two apps, but the one that I can think of now is Poplin. I don't remember the other one that we've done in the past. And it usually ranges to like, I think like$50 sometimes. And then you, if you give a tip, I want to say that's the range of it.

SPEAKER_01:

Oh, we'll also put the the show notes where you have the link to what it is. So it's P-O-P-L-I-N Poplin.

SPEAKER_00:

Hmm. So we got a little link we could put. Cool.

SPEAKER_01:

Absolutely. So the last laundry load we did was only$37.

SPEAKER_00:

That's what I was about to say. It's not even.

SPEAKER_01:

And if I look at the actual, we had three bags of laundry that they service, and it was only$37. And it came up to about 27 pounds. So about a dollar a pound, you give tip, gratuity, all of that stuff. So it comes up to$37. And that was literally for both of our laundry over the course of a week and a half.

SPEAKER_00:

Yes. And we go to the gym a lot and everything.

SPEAKER_01:

So you're talking about saving two to three hours a week for just$37. If you don't want to do the drop-off service or delivery, if you want to do the delivery service, you can do the drop-off service.

SPEAKER_00:

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01:

So we used to do that back in a city as well when we lived in New York. We would do the local wash and fold and we would drop it off to them.

SPEAKER_00:

And then go pick it up.

SPEAKER_01:

And go pick it up.

SPEAKER_00:

Same type of thing. But this one is actually coming to your home. So it's just a bit easier and more convenient. This is all about convenience, okay? And I I always live by convenience costs more money. Just in general in life, convenience is always gonna cost more money. So if you're willing to kind of spend it, then go ahead and do it.

SPEAKER_01:

You're gonna pay in time or you're gonna pay in money?

SPEAKER_00:

Yes, that's enough.

SPEAKER_01:

So in this one, we're talking about saving some time while dishing out a little bit of extra dollars.

SPEAKER_00:

Now the third thing we do is house cleaning. If you didn't know, we are cleaning business owners, so we get our home clean every two to three weeks. And that is just something that works conveniently for us. Now, even before we became um cleaning business owners, when we moved down to Dallas, we had book cleaning services. We're like, we don't want to do it ourselves. Now there's things you do in between, sure. There's tidying up before the cleaning services come, sure. But having the cleaning service here a specific time, a specific day, everybody knows it's gonna happen is just a game changer. And then as the holidays come, you do a deep clean, the base for all those things. So I don't know when, if ever, we will go without cleaning services.

SPEAKER_01:

Yes, we own a cleaning business where we don't clean houses, and also one of the things about that is that your cleaning business expenses become a write-off for your cleaning business. So if you're saying you're having people come to your home and they're cleaning, that becomes a write-off in our business because now we're using our business services internally. So talk to your CPA and accountant. But one thing you mentioned was uh cleaning up before the cleaners come. I want to know, is that like only a black person thing or does do normal people do that as well? Everybody does that, other people do that as well.

SPEAKER_00:

Based on Tinta, everybody does it.

SPEAKER_01:

So everybody cleans it before the cleaning business.

SPEAKER_00:

It's more like tidying, not necessarily you're scrubbing something, but more like tidying because it's like you don't want to get in their way of the cleaning.

SPEAKER_01:

So do you guys clean before your cleaning business, your cleaning company comes and cleans or your cleaners. Let me know in the comments. And you might be thinking it might cost a lot of money to do this, and a lot is relative. So you're talking about if you have a a depends on the size of your home. Depends on the size of your home, obviously. But if you have a 1500 to 2,000 square foot house or apartment, whatever it may be, you might be thinking about$150 to$200 to$200 every two weeks. Depending on where you live and all that, and all of that stuff. But if you think about the amount of time you're saving back, you're talking about two to four hours every single week or every two weeks that you now get back in life that you don't have to go and clean and scrub and things like that. Now, some people say I enjoy doing it. But my question for you is is this something that you enjoy doing more than cleaning? So you give up the$150,$200, and now you go do something that you actually enjoy doing more than that. So people think it is a an extreme expense, but more often than not, you just have to look up the pricing. So that's something you can start with once a month.

SPEAKER_00:

I think it's a different feeling. I mean, it depends how hard you scrap, but I think it's a different feeling of like having your home clean. And like you said, it doesn't have to be expensive. You can go with a company, you can go with a person, it can really range. You'll be surprised. I I yeah, we definitely grow up in the world of like, no, we don't have cleaning services that costs too much money. But if you look into it, you'll be surprised. You may be able to afford it.

SPEAKER_01:

So exactly. And if you don't want to do every two weeks, you could do once a month and start there and work your way up. So now you at least get that two to three hours back per month versus per week or every two weeks. And if you want to learn how to start a remote cleaning business without cleaning any houses, click the link below. We got a starter kit where we kind of help you get launched and learn more about the remote cleaning business.

SPEAKER_00:

So at Cleaning Business University.

SPEAKER_01:

Absolutely. Thanks, Cerlo. Start with once a month. You're talking about$100,$250. And then you could even do hourly if you want. If you want to just start with a two-hour cleaning, see if they do that, that could be about$120. Now you could get your time back.

SPEAKER_00:

So just in specific areas in your home. Yeah. The fourth thing that we do in regards to saving time is lawn care. Yeah, we ain't doing nothing out there. Now, there's been times that you just wanted to go out there and rake the leaves, and you've done that with Alani in the backyard, and they were out there having fun. Listen, me, I don't want to jump in out. You know, we live in Texas. Some people then say they've seen a little snake. I I don't want to, I'm not doing it. I'm not doing it. So, yes, we have somebody that comes and does the lawn depending on the weather, depending on the season, excuse me. It could be every week or every other week. They trim the bushes. We haven't done like a full revamp of like flower beds, but when my grandmother was here, she would do that. So lawn care is something that we hire and outsource. It is not something that we do ourselves unless the leaves look too crazy, and then Anthony will go out there and kind of handle that. But other than that, we do lawn care. And they just bill us and we we pay it and keep it moving.

SPEAKER_01:

And we don't spend hours every single weekend mowing the lawn and doing the leaves because we'd rather have someone else do it. So the time we're talking about saving, the time that I have actually done it, it's taking me over an hour to do it. More than that.

SPEAKER_00:

You were out there forever.

SPEAKER_01:

I was out there for a minute doing it. I had my daughter, we was kind of playing around with it. But I as I was doing it, I'm like, I could be doing something better with my time. It was a good time to be with my daughter and doing it. But I'm not going out and raking leaves every single weekend because I feel like I'd rather spend that time with my family, working out, or just on my mentor load and just enjoying life versus doing that manual labor that I don't have to do. So we're talking about one to two hours every single week of our team coming in doing that. Now, you might be thinking that might be expensive as well, but we pay our personality. It might be$40,$30 a week doing that. It might be$30 every two weeks if you decide$40 every two weeks. So we're talking about less than$100, and that's giving you at least one hour per week back, depending on how fast your lawn grows and stuff like that. But you can now save that time and do something else. You give the$100, they do it, they come every single week, and then now you're doing something else that you enjoy doing. So that's something that we do not do. Um, and that gets us our time back.

SPEAKER_00:

The fifth thing that we kind of outsource definitely, and we've spoken about it in different ways, is childcare. We had a well, doula kind of was more education-based. I wouldn't say she um we outsourced her, but it is someone that can help you before birth, during birth, and after birth, kind of prepare your body mentally and physically to have the baby and do all the things they educate you and get you prepared. But she didn't help with childcare per se, but there are some that I guess assist with that. But we've had a night nurse when we had Alani, we've had a full-time nanny for two years, and then we've had an all-peer, and then we've also had babysitters. So we are not afraid, and we've also oh, our child is in school, so that's child care.

SPEAKER_01:

Let's pause for a second, let's break down the different layers because you went from doula to all pair, and we gotta go through price points.

SPEAKER_00:

So let's start with Okay, Doula's not a child care person, so I won't just erase her for now.

SPEAKER_01:

Let's start with the night nanny. Let's start with the lowest level of childcare that someone could, I don't want to say outsource, but in order to get some hours back.

SPEAKER_00:

Babysitter.

SPEAKER_01:

Babysitter.

SPEAKER_00:

Most of our babysitters I have found in Facebook groups, honestly. Just mom groups or just nanny groups where people are promoting their services. Like, what's an example of like a mom group? Mom group in Dallas. So just literally or just literally your city and town mom group or like nannies in Charlotte. Nanny's in Georgia. Like, you know, they're looking for work and they're promoting their work there, and people are signing off on their behalf. So we found our two babysitters and our long-term nanny in Facebook groups. That's where we found them. Um, interviewed them, background checked, got their ID, license plate, all that type of stuff, and then we hired them. That's essentially. But a babysitter is gonna be cheaper than a nanny because a babysitter is usually just coming in for a few hours to assist you. So depending on where you live, obviously, nothing is lower than$20 in Dallas,$20 per hour, unless it's a high school person, which I've not done that yet. I haven't had any babysitter that young. Usually our babysitters have been about 25 plus. But if you get someone from high school, I'm sure they're much cheaper than$20 an hour. That's the lowest or cheapest that you probably can find. And if you have more kids, they charge more for more kids. And so babysitters are easier to find and you can utilize. And it's not like you have to say, like, oh, I'm giving them specific hours every week. It's just as needed. So nanny's process, same process, honestly. They're just if they're looking for more hours or not. So when we were in the place, we look for someone that it's funny because originally we said, Oh, we only need 20 hours, we don't really need full time, but we quickly saw that we did need full time and we did, we liked it.

SPEAKER_01:

And that could be 20 hours a week, that could be 20 hours a month, which would be five hours, about four to five hours a week if you want to take it that way.

SPEAKER_00:

So, time saved for us when it comes to childcare is higher than most people, probably, but not necessarily because most of us kids are in daycare, and our child is our oldest is in daycare, our youngest is still at home. She's about 15 months right now, she's still at home with our all-pair. Now, all pair is someone that lives with us, it's basically a culture exchange, and she's with us for a year, and yeah, she's the nanny, but lives that but lives here, essentially. A living nanny, if you if that's a better way to explain it. So, childcare is something that we definitely outsource and we're not afraid to do so. One, because we work, we just work at home, so I know it looks different for people. We work and so we need that assistance. Two, our oldest didn't go to school until she was about two. I we just don't feel the need to rush them into school if we don't have to. So we like them being home, learning and doing all the things, but just kind of keeping a close eye with them being that young. So that's just the flexibility that we like to have, and that's why we have we've had nannies and an RPR. What else I wanted to say around that?

SPEAKER_01:

And then it also gives us the ability to do date nights. Yeah, and we got work, obviously. We got some, we need to do focus energy, focus work sometimes, but then also date nights. So, how do you reconnect? You see those couples that are like, Well, I haven't been on vacation, I haven't done a date night. And I was like, huh? We haven't done a date night in six months. We do a date night almost three times a month. Yeah, at least three times a month.

SPEAKER_00:

And and date night doesn't have to be what people think, like have lunch. Yeah, it can just be your lunch something just outside of the yeah.

SPEAKER_01:

If you have kids, if you have kids and they're home with you after school, can you get a babysitter for$20 an hour to just babysit them for now two to three hours so you and your spouse can go out for a little bit and enjoy that, enjoy that time with each other. And even a few hours can make a huge difference. So you're saving about and child care can be with grandparents too. Some some of them don't even have to be paid, right? Yeah. So for us, if it's like a$20,$25 per hour person, they're gonna watch our kids for a couple hours. Now it allows us to do more work, are we able to make more money, or just spend time with each other and focus on each other.

SPEAKER_00:

So also, I'm gonna make a TikTok about this. But some schools, I mean, your kid has to go there, they do like parent night out. So like from 6 to 9 p.m., they'll watch their kid. But outside of that, I know like local things in the area do that. So like the gymnastics and stuff like that, they allow like you to put your kid there, like maybe one Friday and it could be six to nine, six to ten p.m., forty dollars, and that's cheaper than getting someone. So you could look at that as well to find someone so you can have date night or just think clearly, or just quiet in your home, whatever that looks like for you. So, yeah, that's another option when it comes to childcare.

SPEAKER_01:

All right, number six, we're talking about admin errant outsourcing VAs, which will be a virtual assistant, talk about task rabbit, and we delegate a lot of things in our life. We delegate errands, research, admin tasks to either people online or people locally, and we could talk about the admin assistant and things like that.

SPEAKER_00:

So we are not really a DIY couple, and some people like to DIY things, but that's not us. If we gotta paint, we're getting a painter. If I gotta hang a TV, we're getting a TV hanger. If I'm putting up multiple ring camera, so yeah, so that's just not who we are. So we do hire on Tass Rabbit. If you don't know what TaskRabbit is, they come and do the task that you need. Like you can find cleaners on there, you can you can find, I don't know, almost anything that you can think of that you need done in your home, maybe outside of your home as well, you can find on Tassarabbit for a reasonable rate, and you can look at their reviews and book them to come do a service. And we've done that, especially moving into the home, hanging things, stuff like that. So we utilize that specifically. Like what we do is like, okay, we have a few things that we need to do, have them come bang it out an hour to two hours.

SPEAKER_01:

So, for an example, when we had our daughter, we was getting nursery together, and it was a lot of parts.

SPEAKER_00:

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01:

And during that time, you are extremely busy, you're extremely stressed. Oh, well, well, you I mean, you can't really do that. So for me, it's like she can't do it. Oh, she can't do it. I don't want to do it though. But it's like, all right, we have all these heavy pieces. Yes, I can sit there and try to figure it out. But we said, who can we have come put all these pieces together in one shot? I know someone with the one shot. I know some fathers, like, yeah, I take pride and enjoying putting this stuff together, and there's a little thing I might I might do it, I might enjoy doing it. Snoo, like little things like that. But if it's gonna take me multiple hours doing this, I'd rather outsource. You go to task rabbit, you have a gentleman come who's professionally trained in doing things like this. He has a whole tool set, he gets paid, I get to look like I did it. It's a win-win situation. And even when he has less than time, then I would.

SPEAKER_00:

Just even an example, when we have like furniture and stuff delivered, you can always do like the white glove service, or you can some of them you have to do, but either way, you can do like you build it yourself. I add on build like you, you build it. I want you to build it. When we were moving our daughter's rooms from downstairs to upstairs and putting things together, the people that painted also assisted with like building stuff and stuff like that. So we are very like utilizing the things around us as much as possible so we can just focus on other things. We just don't enjoy it. I mean, if we enjoyed building or doing it, then we would do it. But that's not something that we enjoy doing. So we delegated out.

SPEAKER_01:

But then think about that time save. So just the the children's room, that was a heavy hour task between both of the guys that came and did it. Yeah. So imagine if I was trying to do that myself and we paid them, I don't know how much we pay them, but you can find somebody$20,$25 an hour and you just saved yourself three to five hours. And it's just that was just one of the big tasks, but it's like all a few little admin things, right?

SPEAKER_00:

If you might have to go return something to like the post officer, like you had a list of things, like some examples of things that well, which one thing we don't have here, but if you can do it is having a house manager. Um, we did have a house manager temporarily, but uh she ended up getting a full-time job.

SPEAKER_01:

House manager sounds bougie. You could just say an assistant or admin assistant or something. An assistant don't sound bougie? I don't know. A house manager sounds more extens expensive than an assistant.

SPEAKER_00:

But someone can help out with tasks. Okay, well, the house manager, you can Google exactly what it is, but it's someone that can help you with tasks in your home. So maybe they'll book the task rabbit, maybe they'll make sure that the person arrives, they'll return your returns, make sure you have groceries, things are stocked, make sure you order your meal plan. Like they manage the house. You know, and you know, that's some things that mostly a lot of women handle, not saying men don't, but mostly a lot of women handle it can be an added-on thing. And so hiring an assistant, task manager, whatever you want to call them, can be something else that can be helpful as well. That's along the lines of that admin errant outsourcing thing. And how much would you kind of pay someone to do that? So I think it depends. If if that's someone's like full-time role, it's probably on the higher side. But I I found someone as low as$20 an hour, similar to like what they can do for babysitting or nanny. And sometimes people do both. Like I've seen people that they are household manager and nanny all in one. So think about that.

SPEAKER_01:

You think house manager is going to be hundreds of dollars, but in this particular instance, or mommy's helper is another name that you might have heard. So we're talking about$20 an hour. These are things that we have had in our lives that literally saved us a lot of time. So you might be thinking, Oh, I can't afford it, but it's$20 an hour where you're like, well, if I get back now three to five hours a week, is that$20 an hour worth it? Adjust the mental load of th that you have. And you can find somebody, this doesn't have to be a professional, you can find somebody from high school and just give them a task list, right? Find somebody to do this, find somebody to do that, find somebody to do that, and it could just be a couple hours a week that just gives you more time back.

SPEAKER_00:

We spend a lot of time just doing the outsource and then VA. So virtual assistants work heavily in our businesses, on our online businesses that we have. So the cleaning business, our digital side, even just the podcast, education. We use virtual assistants. We use a lot of international virtual assistants for our businesses, and we've been working with a lot of them for years. And that's something that I think also I think more people are getting hip to it now, but it doesn't have to be a huge expense, it doesn't have to be a full-time, you can find someone that just wants part-time, and the hourly pay can range from three to six dollars an hour for your business. Can you afford that? So that's something to also consider when it comes to that.

SPEAKER_01:

Before y'all try to blow up the comments, you're like, how do you pay somebody six dollars an hour? Well, if they're working or the internationally, yeah, if you're working overseas in the Philippines, like that's how, because that's a pretty decent wage when you kind of do the conversion of it. Yes. So that's what most of them charge anyway. So you can go upwards if you want to pay in more, you know, six to ten dollars, that's totally fine as well. So, but again, you're bringing somebody in to help you get that time back. So now you can do things in your business if you have a business, or even if you got things at home that you want them to handle, like booking flights for you, checking your calendar, date night appointments, checking on hotels, these are all things that we feel like we ain't there yet, but we actually could be. We haven't we have an admin who does some of these things, right? But you think it just costs so much money. So you could go to onlinejobs.ph and find somebody for three to five dollars an hour, and they can help you in your day-to-day operations of just running your life, not even just your business.

SPEAKER_00:

Well, I mean, along the lines of errand outsourcing also can be like travel agents and stuff like that. Now, that's not a weekly thing that we do, we're not traveling every week, but it is something that helps us just when we want a vacation, so we don't have to think about it. It's just like a brain dump. We want to go here, we want to spend this, and this is what we want to do. Kids are not, and give me the options and we'll pay. So that's another option of like outsourcing and utilizing people. And the last thing, just a quick bonus on something else that we do, which is once again, it's not weekly, but it's something that you can consider is TSA pre-check, global entry, clear, clear, it's not as expensive as you as you think, and it lasts for years to come. So if you get global entry, that can just cover TSA and Global Entry. If you don't know what that is, it allows you to skip the lines when you're going through customs and um yeah, customs coming back into the country, and even in other countries, global entry allows you to skip the lines. Same thing with TSA, as you know. Uh, the lines are generally shorter. A lot more people have it now, but the lines are generally shorter, and you don't have to check out your laptop and everything like that. So just making it more convenient for yourself when you're flying, showing up, having kids, doing all the things, you can get you can get away with that. So it's another like shortcut for your life. Anything that we can do to make our life easier, we're gonna implement obviously if we can afford it, especially if it saves us time. Yes, and global entry, I don't even know what the price is at this point. Kids under 18 are free at this point.

SPEAKER_01:

But it might be$150, like all in for like five years, and then also if you add clear on top of that, that's another travel hack where if you got TSA and clear, now some lines just saying they got like it's a it's a it's like habit stacking. You got the TSA, you got the pre-check, and then you got the clear, and it's like you got to combine both of them, and you get to skip everyone. So think about the time saved on those lines that might be 30 minutes versus and you got in your shoes and your book bag and all of that stuff saves you time, energy.

SPEAKER_00:

And a lot of credit cards cover clear and global entry, they cover the fee. So if you have if you have a credit card, just check it out. And for us, it's a no-brainer that every single person in the family will have all the things because we travel enough that we don't want to waste time, you know, especially going through with kids.

SPEAKER_01:

So let's talk about the math for a little bit. What is your time work? So, guys, if you if you are going through this episode, you're listening, but well, Anthony and Janoka, you guys got all this money in the world, so of course you could do these things. And I want to change your mindset a little bit because if you make$50 per hour, right? Think about it. Why would you spend$5 a week doing a$15 an hour task?

SPEAKER_00:

$50 per hour is pretty good.

SPEAKER_01:

If you make$40 an hour, why would you spend your time doing something that somebody else could do for five to ten dollars an hour? Think about it like that, right? So if you have if now if you have$50, now you're like, all right, I'm giving up$10 an hour, but then now you're getting back two to three hours a week doing those things. And buying back your time is not about being lazy, it's more about being smart and intentional. And then it's about reinvesting your time back into yourself, your family, your business, whatever it may be. So that's super important in your health, yeah. And you don't have to do it all yourself. You can start with one thing that you hate the most and then try to outsource that or the thing that takes the most time. So if you're like, all right, well, laundry,$15,$10 a load, I might want to outsource that. Start with just one thing. It doesn't have to be all these things, like we said. Yeah, start with just one thing and start outsourcing that, right?

SPEAKER_00:

And yeah, we don't always do the laundry, you know, just whenever it's convenience for you, convenient, excuse me, for you. And it helps you just to have a clearer space. I I briefly just spoke on that, but there's a big conversation now about like women and mothers having a full-on mental load. And it's like, can you get rid of some of the things to assist you and not constantly have that reoccurring thing in your head of like, I need to do, I need to do, I need to do? Because we don't necessarily have to do it all. Um, if we're able to, we can delegate it out to other people. So we wanted to know which one of these resonated with you the most. Like which one do you think that you will implement today? Ain't no reason to wait till the next month. Today, can you discuss with a spouse? Can you discuss with someone? What is one of these hacks or one of these outsourcing things that you can do and implement for your family yourself?

SPEAKER_01:

Make sure you drop it in the comments too. And if you want more tips on buying back your time and building real wealth, subscribe and check out our other videos and share this with someone that you know who may need it.

SPEAKER_00:

Someone that needs to hear this, someone that you're like, I've been telling them, I've been doing it, hear from someone else. I know also for people that look like us, it's also a different conversation. Even just having those conversations with our parents, like mother and saying, like, oh, you're gonna have a night nanny? There's gonna be a person there watching the kid at night. Like those conversations was were had with us, but it's something that we're like, yeah, this is what we want to do. So it just opens up a different conversation sometimes.

SPEAKER_01:

So the biggest mistake people make is thinking they have to do it all by themselves. Start with one thing, buy back a few hours, and watch how much your life changes. So thanks for watching and make sure that you take action. Absolutely. See you guys next time. What would you do differently if you were us? What would you add? What would you subtract? Let us know. Peace. All right, bye.
