You ever come home from your job exhausted, sit on that same couch every night, open up your laptop, and wonder if maybe you're just not built for this. Stop right there. I used to think that too, and I was dead tired. But let me tell you something I wish somebody would have told me a lot earlier. Something that's gonna make you question everything you think you know about yourself. You're not inconsistent, you're trying to do too much. But once you understand that, and I mean really understand it, everything about your life and your business starts to change. But here's the thing most people never figure this out. They spend years calling themselves lazy, inconsistent. I'm not built for success or business. But if that's you right now, comment building so that you know you're paying attention. Because what I'm about to show you changed everything for us. Back when it was just me and my wife Janoka, we had$114,000 of debt hanging over our heads like a storm cloud. Not 100k, not six figures, exactly$114,115. We were working two jobs each, not because we wanted to, but because we had to. I want you guys to picture this waking up 6 to 7 a.m. every single day and working to about 4 to 5 p.m. at our corporate jobs, and then we went straight to our second jobs working at Equinox, which is a fitness gym, from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m., wiping down sweaty gym equipment every single night. So by the time we got home, we were literally zombies. Backs hurt, feet hurt, and mentally, you just physically tired, you just burnt out. We had nothing left. But here's what kept us up at night. We knew if we didn't change something, and I really mean change something, we'd be stuck in this same cycle forever, trying to pay off this debt, trying to lower this stress. Same one day, one day I would start that thing, one day I would try this, which literally means dreams that will never happen. We made a decision that most people thought was crazy, and it was the reason we became millionaires today. But first, let me destroy a lie that you've been telling yourself. Now, here's a truth that's going to piss some people off. You're not consistent, you're not lazy, you are not even broken, but you're essentially doing what we've been programmed to do, and it's killing you in your dreams every single day. There's actually research on this. Sit next to someone who's a higher performer at work. Your output goes up by 15%. Sit next to someone who drains you, it drops by 30%. Now, the reason I'm telling you this, you ever went to class and you had the class clown next to you and they're the ones always telling jokes, that person got into trouble, you got into trouble. That person got called on, you got called on. But you sit next to the person that's always focused, paying attention, you're gonna feel out of place cracking jokes next to that person because they're focused, they're leading the pack. So you sit next to that person, you're probably going to be more productive. Why do you think we want to sit next to the smart kids in school? Not just to copy their papers, but to literally learn the environment that we're in. And then you eventually learn that your environment isn't just impacting your mood, it's literally rewiring your brain for failure. Think about it. Our job drains our best eight hours. We're the most productive during that time, we're the most focused, we're the most locked in during those eight hours. And then our commute still is another two hours, one way there, one way back, an hour each way. And then life's gonna take whatever you got left. So by the time you finally get home, you finally sit down, you start building something, it's like eight or nine p.m. You ain't got no more energy at that point, and then you're trying to beat yourself up because you don't got the energy, you're not consistent, you're not different, right? But here's what nobody tells you you're not the problem, your environment is. And once we figured out the environment needs to change, then everything changed. So let me show you exactly how. So this is the exact five-step blueprint we use when our energy was low, but we knew our ambition was high. So, screenshot this part, you're gonna want to check this out later. So, step number one, win your commute. Like, literally, win your commute. I stopped wasting two hours a day on music and I started feeding my mind with podcasts, entertainment, and I was trying to learn from people who were actually building something. I wasn't around entrepreneurs yet in real life, so I borrowed proximity from people who are already doing it. And those people who were doing it was just voices in my headphones, and that alone shifted everything because when you listen to enough people winning long enough, it becomes normal for you. So, some podcasts I like to listen to during my commute. It was Dave Ramsey, Baby Steps, it was Side Hustle Pro, Side Hustle School. Anything that told me how to be an entrepreneur, anything that told me about mindset shift, anything that told me about money, it became normal for me to hear it and be around those people. So, step number two, win just one hour a day. This one hour changed everything for us. I'm not even kidding you. Instead of talking about sports during lunch, I was building for one hour straight every single day. I didn't wait for motivation, I didn't wait to feel ready, I didn't wait till I needed energy. That one hour a day helped us pay off six figures of debt. That one hour a day helped us build the business that changed everything for us. That one hour a day brought us our freedom. So the question is what could you build with just one focused hour a day? So step number three, automate the first task. So if the first step of your business requires motivation, you already lost the game. So we automated everything that we could when we were building our business lead flow, scheduling, follow-up, operations, because your automation doesn't get tired. Automation doesn't call out, automation doesn't need motivation. Automation is how you win when you are tired. So step number four, use community accountability because there was nights we wanted to quit. Somebody in our community asked, Yo, what did you finish? What have you accomplished? What have you tried? What are you doing? Because when people are around you that are building, you're not falling off. They make it hard for you to fall off. So your environment becomes your coach until you can actually get a coach because you don't rise in motivation, you rise to the level of your environment. So some of these online communities, you could join Facebook groups, you could join forums, you could join chats. There are thousands of communities that you could find with people who are building these things until you could get in that environment. So change your environment there. So step number five build systems that work when you're tired. Now, this is a game changer for most people, especially us. This is not about being the hardest worker in the room, it's about building something that moves when you're not at 100%. And to be honest with you guys, most of us are not at 100% 100% of the time. Some nights I had nothing left, some nights Janoka had nothing left. We were tired. But once we build the business, once we build the saddles, once we build the freedom, we built the systems that kept us running, and that's what allowed us to get to where we are. But then something happened that changed everything again, guys. We became parents, and the pressure shifted completely. So now it wasn't about escaping the nine to five, it was about creating options for our daughters, and that's a different type of financial reality than what we grew up with. But here's what shocked us a lot of people say kids slow you down, and I'm gonna say it slowed us down for a little bit, but kids sharpened us, we tightened our systems, we tightened our time, we prioritized different things. Our goal was to build smarter, not harder, because now it wasn't just about building income, now it's about building legacy, breaking patterns, creating freedom, and that's when you realize something that's going to change how you think about competition. So I want you guys to forget competing with the world. You only need to outwork three people. Write these down. Number one, the past version of you, the version who avoided doing the hard things. You beat him by doing one thing today he refused to do yesterday. That's how you win. Person number two, the person who already has what you want. Don't envy them, study them. They're not your competition. Think about it like this they're already at step Z. You're at A, B, and C. So why would you think about step Z when you're just getting started on a journey? Find out what they did between the rest of those letters, rest of those numbers to get to where they are, and that's when you're gonna be able to focus more. So don't try to get to where they are today, get to where they were when they started. And number three, the person counting on you to quit. Now, some of this might piss some of you guys off, and the person counting on you to quit might not be something you might be thinking about. It could be a coworker, it could be a friend, it could be a family member, it could be a voice in your head saying, you know what, this won't work. We hear it time and time again from hundreds of our students, some of them who went a million dollars in their business, they said, I didn't think this was going to work. Why would you think it's going to work? That's the voice inside of your head saying, This is not going to work, don't try it, don't get outside your comfort zone, stay where you are, stay comfortable. You can't argue with that voice, that voice will win. You just have to get started and outlast it. So you do that long enough and you don't just get rich, you begin to build freedom for yourself. So if you're tired of trying to figure this out alone, guys, we put together a free masterclass that breaks down the exact three-steps framework that we use to build a remote cleaning business while working full time jobs. So it makes sense when you're tired, even when you're busy, even when you feel like you're doing too much. So the link is below. Watch it today, guys, and stop calling yourself inconsistent because you're not inconsistent, you're a builder, you just need the right blueprint. So drop the word builder in the comments if this hit different, guys. We read every single comment and we'll see you in the next video.
