What is something that is an idea that people ask you for multiple times that you can now turn into a side hole so that can help somebody else? And that's literally the definition of entrepreneurship. What's going on, guys? I was listening to a podcast called Nathan Barry Show. If you don't know, he is the CEO founder of Convert Kid. If you go don't know what Convert Kid is, you could go and figure it out. But he was talking to Jefferson Fisher, which is a lawyer who has over three, four million followers across social media. Why would a lawyer have that many followers on social media? He puts out one piece of content every single day that just gives you a piece of advice, practical advice from his law firm. Now, on this show, they went on to talk about why he left, why he stopped doing law, practicing law, and focusing more on the content side. And his answer was pretty enlightening. He said, I'm only in able to impact the people inside of my law firm. But if I get online and I post a piece of content that goes viral, I can impact millions of people across the world. He said, I would rather do that every single day of the year. So he's pretty much gone all in on content. But on that podcast, they sat down and they mapped out how can he build a 10 million dollar business from all the pieces of all the pieces of things he's doing in his creator world. And coincidentally enough, I literally was having a conversation with my barber. As you can see, I got a crispy haircut, but we were mapping out all the pieces that he could have in his business that will help him make extra hundred dollars, thousand dollars, whatever it is daily from things he's already doing, and it's outside of barbering. Now he's a creative when it comes to him and his sons doing his son doing baseball, but we were mapping out different income streams that he could go and create that would allow him to make more money outside of what he's doing on a daily basis. So we were talking about things like an ebook, we were talking about things like a community, his YouTube channel, his Instagram channel, we were talking about things like a paid workshop. The whole purpose of me having this conversation was it correlated to the conversation that Jefferson Fisher was having about building that$10 million business. Was that you get to a certain point where you just gotta take action? Literally, you just gotta take action. You build these things up and you get so afraid to take action because you're like, what if what if it's not right? What if I'm looking like an imposter? What if someone finds out I'm not exactly who I thought I was or who I appeared to be online? But when you discuss your truth every single day, no one could take that away from you. No one, no matter if they're a friend, if they're a colleague, if they're a family member, if this is who you are, this is what you talk about, this is what you share, that's literally it. No one's going to know that you're trying to be someone else but you. So if you go out there, you post a piece of content, you share your journey, share your information, you're going to be able to help more people than you realize because every single person has a story. And I believe every single person has a story that can help someone else get through something or get to something. So for us, when we started our journey back in when we got married in 2016, we were just like, We're going to help people by sharing our journey through being newlyweds, being newlyweds in a new city and state, being newlyweds in a new city and state and getting a dog, being newlyweds and starting our debt freedom journey. And all we were doing was just sharing what we were doing along the way. Many times we feel like we gotta be an expert in order to help somebody, and that's not true. If you can help someone who is one step behind you, then you should be able to help them get a result that you once had. So for us, we were like, listen, we paid off$114,000 of debt. We should be able to help someone start a budget, and that's what we started with. We started helping people just doing their budgets. And then we said we could help you do a budget, we could help you pay off a thousand dollars in debt because we paid off 114,000 so we started helping people budget and then also paying off debt. But it was like, what else could we help people do? We had a bunch of side hustles, so we should be able to help you find a side hustle because we did it. So, what side hustles could we help you find? So, for us, we were watching dogs, we picked up extra jobs, I was flipping sneakers. So we was like, if we could help someone pay off a thousand dollars or start a budget, we should be able to help someone pick up a side hustle. And then we started a cleaning business and we achieved six figures, and we said, you know what? We should be able to help someone at least start the business. So you get the idea, and then we started talking about building a six-figure, and then we had people build seven-figure cleaning businesses, which completely went beyond the scope of what we thought we'd be able to help someone do. But all it takes is just helping someone get a result. So I want you guys to think about it. Take the idea, and that's the best thing about entrepreneurship and business inside us is that you can take an idea that you have in your head, and this is the best part about it, it comes out of nowhere. How many of us have those ideas that just sit there for weeks, for months, for years? Like this conversation right here was an idea that I had. Was not talking about oh, the cleaning business or business and business, which might be doing up just being creatives or being people who listening to this or watching this can take an idea out of thin air. That's the best part about it. Comes out of nowhere. God gave it to you, God did. Take the idea, put it into something that can now be executed on, and then you give it to someone else, and they buy that idea from you as a product or service. That's the true definition of entrepreneurship. Don't overcomplicate it, don't make it sexier than it needs to be. Entrepreneurship is you have an idea, you taking that idea, executing on it to a product or service, and someone else seeing value in that idea and exchanging money. That's it. They're paying you for the idea that you created. So that's why I believe everyone should have a side hustle. Now, if you don't believe in entrepreneurship and all that stuff, that's totally fine. But I believe everyone should have a side hustle so that you could take that creative energy that you have and put it out into the world. So if you're a person that think about what you do with your nine to five. So if you had a you had a nine to five, I worked in IT. So my side hustle was helping other people learn about IT, learn about computers, learn about technology. That could be something that you could do. Think about what skill sets you have at your nine to five job that can help somebody else. What is a skill set that people often ask you for? You're a good baker, like I made some banging mac and cheese, that might be my new skill set. Or your artists, I used to draw back and they used to do websites. So a side hustle in high school for me was building websites for people, burning CDs. I was good at technology, so I made five dollar CDs. What is something that is an idea that you have or a that people ask you for multiple times that you can now turn into a side hustle that can help somebody else? And that's literally the definition of entrepreneurship, guys. So I want your homework to be. I'm gonna be giving you guys homework, but your homework is to write down five ideas that you have about things you wanted to do. And we're gonna label those one to five. One being something that comes up sometimes, five being something that comes up often. And then we're also going to write down what is one of the out of those five, which one of those things are you most excited about? What is something that you could see yourself doing for a couple years from now? And then we're gonna write down one to five which of the ideas are, one to five, which one lights me up the most, and one to five, which one is going to give me the easiest path to creating income. And that's it. Put that idea that you had into Chat GBT and let it spit out, go back and forth with the conversation. Hey chat, I want you to act as a business coach, a strategist. Here are some ideas around my strengths, my weaknesses. Here's the path that I think could give me least resistance into making my first dollar. I want you to give me some thoughts around it, but don't let chat talk you out of it too. I have my settings where me and chat will we have combative mode, we'll start asking me questions. So go in there, have the conversation, have it start asking you some questions, be a little bit combative, but not too much. But don't let it talk you out of that idea. Once you have that, come back to this page, write it in the comments, write it somewhere, send us a DM. Hey and listen to that episode. I thought it was great. Here's some ideas I have. Let me know what you think about it. I'll map it out with you. I'll have the conversation with you. A lot of us just need that person to just execute, help them execute on the ideas. So, this is me being that version for myself, executing on an idea that I had. And this was episode one of I Was Listened to a Podcast. Peace out. Talk to you guys next time.
