SPECIAL: Teaching of the Month: July 20, 2025, “They Were Great Examples”

SOMETHING SPECIAL!  In addition to the regular His Word podcasts, which are all under 5 minutes, His Word Podcast is now posting a “Teaching of the Month;” a full length teaching from our Westbrook Sunday morning fellowship. This month’s teaching is from July 20, 2025, entitled, “They Were Great Examples” (24:45) 

God in His Word referred to the believers in Thessalonica as, “model believers.” God not only praised them, but God also exhorted them to keep growing!  Our adversary does not want anyone to get saved; he doesn’t want anyone to gain an accurate knowledge of the Truth. And for those who do, he absolutely does not want you to stay put on God’s Word, or continue growing. So, let’s keep on growing in God’s Word.
I encourage you to read I Thessalonians, being mindful of what it was like there when Paul came into town. (See Acts 17:1-10) This epistle will not only inspire and encourage you, but, you will see that even though they had reached the point where
