This month, The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes by Suzanne Collins was selected as tribute. As the prequel to the acclaimed Young Adult series, The Hunger Games, we and our inner teenagers had high hopes for this novel.
As a radical change from the original trilogy, we are taken front-row seat to the inception of the Hunger Games as we know today from the perspective of none other than a young Coriolanus Snow (A.K.A. President Snow).
We took the liberty and chose this bonus novel in honour of the release of the movie premier of The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes and let's just say, we bit off more than we could chew.
