Imagine yourself in the middle of a challenging business situation, and suddenly a mindset shift changes everything.

That's exactly what happened to me earlier this year, and it involved a powerful tool we all have at our disposal - gratitude. The power of gratitude transformed a pivotal business scenario, making me realize its profound impact. I'm sharing this personal journey with you and celebrating an achievement that truly deserves a special toast this year.

Meanwhile, an unexpected twist in the episode unfolds as an AI interviews me on a Thanksgiving theme. The spontaneity of unprepared questions takes the episode up a notch, adding an interesting twist. I also share my fantasy Thanksgiving dinner guests from the business world and ancestors and some burning questions I'd pose to them.

This episode is not just a celebration of personal growth; it's also about learning to trust the process. So, tune in as we unravel the transformative power of gratitude in business.

Speaker 1:

I was today years old when I discovered that there are AI influencers on Instagram with over 2 million followers and here I am barely hitting 10,000. So I was like you know what? Let's do something fun for this episode of the Lion Business Woman. We are going to use AI to interview me and we're going to do a Thanksgiving theme. I have not looked at the questions. I just asked chat GPT, give me some questions that I can answer on my podcast, and so I'm about to dive in. I am not prepared, but this should be fun. All right, keep listening. Hey you, your next level of expansion is here and you're not going to accomplish it through hustle and grind. Oh, no, not you. You allow ease and flow to come through you so that you can manifest the business of your dreams. Welcome to the Align Business Woman podcast, where you get to be in flow and allow your strategic CEO to meet your inner goddess. This is the podcast for female entrepreneurs who want to strengthen their intuition muscle while applying simple and practical business growth strategies to accelerate. We'll combine energetics and strategy, along with human design and your gene keys, to optimize your business performance and results. Okay, so I again asked chat GPT. I said look, this is my complete marketing message. I did this whole journal prompt thing. If you listened to last week's episode then you understand, like, how I created this amazing document to keep me on track with my offers, my marketing message, my ideal client, their client transformation, all the things right. And so I asked. Chat GPT, based off of this document, asked me three to five questions that I can answer on my podcast Now. As a generator in human design, it is best suited for my energy to respond. So I am responding here. Let's see how this goes. But before we dive in, I want to make sure that you have taken the what's your manifestation code quiz. That is all about how to tap into the best manifestation framework for your human design. You're going to need your human design chart so that you understand what you're, or you know what your authority is, as well as your undefined and defined centers, because otherwise you won't get the right output. But anyways, all right, let's do this. We're going to be blending so many different things here today. You're responding AI, business strategies, uh, alignment, I don't know. I'm guessing because, based off of that document, it's all about my business values, what is unique to me, my unique approach to business strategy, all the things. So let's see what it came up with. Okay, here we go. I may not edit this, because it takes some time to edit some of these things. All right, unless it's like totally like, oh my gosh, what am I going to say? All right, here we go.

Speaker 1:

The gratitude shift is how it defines this question and it says in the spirit of Thanksgiving, can you share a pivotal moment this year, for gratitude transformed a challenging business situation for you. Hmm, that is a great question. Chat GBT. Okay, I kind of wanted to do like an accent, because I like to do accents, but I'm like, okay, if someone's new to this podcast, then I'm like what the heck? This is weird I'm doing. But maybe next time, as we develop the podcast audience. Okay, so what is a pivotal moment this year for gratitude transformed a challenging business situation for me. Um, oh, this is a good one. Okay, so, a little bit last year, but a lot more so this year.

Speaker 1:

I had so many, I had more, not so many. I had a handful of people approach me that felt that human design and my talk about manifestation wasn't in alignment with the um, christian beliefs. They're Christian values and at first that stung I felt, I mean, especially when the approach was like it's kind of witchy and it was kind of making me feel like, okay, are you calling me a witch? Which there's nothing wrong with witches, I mean, I think they're cool as hell. I'm not intended, but that was a little bit of a like again. It was a shock, it was a sing to my heart and once I allowed my ego to have its little pity party, I was able to be grateful that these people were willing to share this with me, that they felt safe to share this with me, because, as a generator, it gave me another way to respond to those that are maybe put off about you know manifestation and human design and you know spiritual things. Because I do feel that it is a great perspective and there's a lot of tools that can help us work through some things that are holding us back. So I really leaned into just being grateful that they were able to. They felt comfortable approaching me and I was able to grow from that and then use it as a learning experience and then also just another way to speak about those topics without closing anyone off. Okay.

Speaker 1:

So the next question which it has. I just love the way it segments this. It is toasting to triumphs Just like we raise our glasses at Thanksgiving dinner. Let's toast to your business successes. What achievement this year deserves a special cheers and why? Let me see here Gosh, I feel like there's so many achievements that and to me, like little wins, small wins, are massive achievements, I think I don't really I don't necessarily like segment them and win like big wins or small wins. I just feel like even the bad things that happen, or what people would perceive as bad, are still achievements, because there's lessons in that. And so I'm trying to think of a significant one that I feel like deserves a special cheers, and why it deserves a special cheers.

Speaker 1:

I feel like the best achievement was sticking to what works a lot more closely than I have in the past and not giving up on things and looking towards all the resources that I already have to make life and business a lot more simple. And why this deserves a special cheer is because I was able to get out of my way in an area that I didn't realize that I was in my way. I'm all about getting out of our own way so we can make our life and business simple, more prosperous, abundant, joyful, I mean. My business values are literally about ease, flow and enjoyment and self mastery and making a global positive impact, and so I cannot do those things as long as I am spreading myself thin or I'm doing so many things at once that it makes everything watered down. So to me that's been a really great achievement just to be a lot more focused and sticking to the path and finding my own lane. And I feel like I found my lane. It's been quite some time, but it's just like as if I'm in that lane and driving a lot more straight than swarming around, if that makes sense. I'm not going in and out of lanes anymore and I'm swarming a lot less and I'm going a lot faster. So that, to me, has been a great achievement.

Speaker 1:

Number three the Thanksgiving table of influence. If you could have a Thanksgiving dinner with any three influential figures in the business world, who would you invite and what burning questions would you ask each of them? Okay, you can tell like I've never read these, because I'm really even reading them slow. Okay, obviously, oprah. I've mentioned this on my interview with Authority Magazine. They're like if you wanted to shout out someone, who would it be so they can catch their attention. Oprah duh definitely Oprah, and one of the questions I would ask is what kind of inner dialogue did you have when you felt defeated? I would love to know how she coached herself through some of the hardships or some of the things that maybe we didn't even see publicly but she was going, you know, she was going through privately. I'd love to know that, because I think that she's a very resilient and something about her just seems so genuine and humble and I know she's a billionaire, but I just I don't know. I could tell that she has a good heart. Another influential figure hmm, let me see here. I mean, of course you chat GPT. Everyone's been talking about AI Gosh.

Speaker 1:

Another influential figure I do like Gabby Bernstein. I think she's pretty chill, she's just like. She seems like a pretty cool person to get to know. I would like to ask her about. You know what keeps her focused on sobriety, because I have very much and I'm never going to deny this have my own struggles with drinking out of, like. You know just drinking too much and you know just using alcohol to numb. I mean, I've gotten so much better as I've gotten through my own growth that you know it just kind of has like a different perspective. But you know, I know that her story is a lot different than mine because she was doing more things than just drinking, but still like I would like to know that. I think that's a very powerful message for people that deal with or that experience the desire to numb through substance abuse. And, yeah, I'd like to know what kind of message she has for people, because I don't think I've heard that much about that, but maybe she has something out there that I haven't heard.

Speaker 1:

Now a third influential person that I would want to have at my Thanksgiving dinner would probably be my late mother-in-law, because I've never got to meet her. So I don't want to know what my husband was like growing up and why he is such a darn good person. It's annoying. I'm like the you know the person that's all like crazy and everything like that, and he's just like so chill and so kind and he really does growl me. So I would like to know what was he like growing up? I mean, is he a lot like my son, who was just ugh? His heart is so cute. I just love him so much. He's like I love you, mommy, and he'll tease my daughter and be like you don't love our mom, I love her, and so I don't know. I just kinda wanna know how much Oliver is like Tommy when he was growing up, and just to know her, and yeah, it'd be great. I never again. I never got to meet her. She passed away before I even met my husband. So those are the three people I would love to be able to meet.

Speaker 1:

The unsung heroes in your journey, or, sorry, topic number four the unsung heroes in your entrepreneurial journey. Okay, I am definitely not gonna edit this, I just feel like, eh, it's fine. So the question is behind every successful entrepreneur, there are unsung heroes. As we express gratitude this season, who are the people in your business journey you're most thankful for and what impact have they had on you? Oh, hands down, my husband and my kids, because they have so much patience and they're just. I don't know they're just. They give me my space to be able to do the things that I need to do in my business. My husband, just like.

Speaker 1:

Last night I was finishing up some final things for the upcoming workshop that's going on here in Houston and I was up till about midnight. I just wanted to make sure I had everything down and he didn't ask me questions. My daughter made the dinner, made dinner and he cleaned it up, and I don't know. It's just really nice to be able to have that support at home so that I can be able to focus on the impact that I wanna make. And it's not unusual that I have to work that late, but it was just something that I had to tie up loosens because I have some things going on that I wanted to make sure that I follow through, and so it was really nice that they were able to support me and following through on my promises. I'm so, so, so grateful for all of them and, gosh, I swear, they just make doing life fun. And I don't know, I'm just laughing at some of the things that, some of the conversations that we have and the things that happen is just like gosh, I'm so blessed, so blessed.

Speaker 1:

And then, lastly, number five the recipe for resilience. I really do like how it segmented this, reflecting in the past year, what has been your recipe for resilience and growth in your business, amidst the ups and downs? I would say it is looking at everything as much as I can and looking at everything as my mirror and getting curious on how I get to improve and I get to be a better person, but doing it in a way that doesn't shame me or make me feel guilt, but in a way where it's like uplifting and inspiring to be the version of myself or be a model for other people and to be able to, like what Gandhi says, what I see in the world, just kind of really using that mirror to show me the areas of change that I can be able to create within me, so that I can see the things that I want to see without me, from outside of myself. That has been a great recipe for resilience and just really understanding that there's no such thing as failure, only feedback. Because, as you know, entrepreneurs, as we are Coming out with new products, as we are, you know, just Getting new clients and prospects and marketing and all things, it can Feel as if no progress is being made, and we know we can have those lows and we can make it mean something about ourselves. Or we can choose to be like, okay, this is slowing down right now. What can I do right now so that I can keep my spirits and my energy up and just Wait in anticipation, knowing that my next level is right around the quarter. So that's really helped me.

Speaker 1:

All right, I hope you enjoyed this episode with my interviewer, chat GPT, and me, vanessa and Miller just kind of making it fun. And have a happy Thanksgiving and I send you many blessings and love with you and your loved ones. And if you want to bring a little Vanessa spirit into your home, there is something that I love to do with my family. It's a little tradition that I created and I'm sure that they get annoyed that I like to do this, but it's okay that you can steal from me, and that tradition is.

Speaker 1:

At the Thanksgiving table we go around saying what we're thankful for, but we do it in alphabetical order, meaning if I start, I start with the letter a and the person to either the left or right of me Starts with bcd, and so we just go in a circle over and over and over again and and share what we're grateful for, and it's just kind of fun, because sometimes we just end up having to make up silly things. All right, I'll catch you next time on the next episode of the line. This is woman. Happy Thanksgiving and enjoy your holiday. Bye, bye now.
